Creo+ and Creo Parametric

In Sheet metal design, for folding we need to set the K factor value. We had to change Creo's default K factor value. Every time we had to change the value again and again. Is there any config option for setting the K factor value as default?

Hello,   I see that you can delete hatching from a 2d section view.  I'm not sure how you would even generate a cross section on a 2d model.  However, after creating a 3d section view, I am not able to reduce the line thickness.  The message states: Input contains elements of wrong type.  I presume this refers to the hatching - as that is the only difference between the views.  Please advise how I can turn off the hatching - alter the line thickness - then turn the hatching back on.  Or is there some other way I can achieve thinner lines on the prints?

I am using Creo Parametric 7.0.4.0We just finished an upgrade from Windchill 10.2 to Windchill 12.0.2.0 on Monday and upgraded from Creo 2.0 to Creo 7.0.4.0 in the process. One of our drafters is getting a notification message when she makes parts that there is 1 Outdated Mass Properties, I am not sure if others are receiving the same error as they have not brought it to my attention. What does this notification mean or affect on the parts that they create? Is it a severe issue that needs to be remedied by going to Creo 7.0.5.0? I don't personally use Creo or Windchill, I'm just the IT sysadmin who the upgrade project got handed off to, so I have no experience in what the errors in this program mean. Hi,i have a problem with explosion bubbles in the drw. I present a simplified example.I place all the bubbles as I want (see Picture 1), but then if I move some component that changes the size of the view, the bubbles move automatically (Picture 2). I don't want to pin every bubble to an intersection of snap lines.I have done several searches in the Creo documentation but have not found anything that could help me.I would like to avoid trying to solve it with yet another botched management, for example I could define a sketch curve in the assembly with dimensions much greater than the space occupied by the components.So, I'm here asking for help hoping for a brighter solution. I am a newer user of Creo Parametric 6.0 as well as to CAD in general.  I have been learning it on my own and have used a number of resources to learn the basic concepts. I have created an assembly for a clamping fixture.  However, I would like to expand the fixture from the current two stations to a total of ten stations.   Is there a way to basically copy (or duplicate) the existing assembly and add four additional assembles to the side to accomplish this task?  Or should I start from scratch ?     Thanks in advance, Tim

I am working with Creo 4.0, so I hope that a later version of Creo can handle this...   With the "repeat" function in an assembly, a user can choose which constraints he want to keep, and which constraints he want to change, and then repeatingly place that component into that assembly. It's a very usefull feature.   I would like to "repeat" a feature in a part, just like how I can "repeat" a component placed in an assembly.   Ideally, I would select a feature, RMB --> Repeat, decide which references to keep the same and which to change, and then start placing that feature a couple of more times.   I know that I can "copy & paste" a feature, but then Creo will start asking for all references...that's not what I want. I also don't want to create a UDF, as sometimes it's just a simple hole which I want to repeat. A pattern is not an option, as I am going to toggle those features ON and OFF with Pro/PROGRAM.   Maybe I am overlooking an existing feature of Cr

I need to make some modifications in the drawing, but now sure how. Could someone help? 1 - This part inside the red circle it's appearing on both sides, but I need just one side, like in the second image. Besides that, I need the line to be dashed. How can I do that?  (how it's now) (how it's supposed to be) 2 - I need to show this part in the red circle, also with dashed line, that it's in the model but doesn't appear in the drawing. I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) 4.0 M060New linestocks were created for Newberry CAD conversion. When I add a hole as a UDF (user defined feature), not only does it not add the hole feature to the bend table, it stops the bend table from being created at all. When initially setting up the hole UDF, it indicates that the files do not have the same units. I am using Creo Parametric 2.0 M020I am running the software on a Windows 10 HP laptop with video card Radeon Pro WX 3100, and the software is really slow - it takes me a long time to open a 6.8 MB STP file, and there is a lag when I turn the part. I do not do modeling on my laptop; I only view 3Ds.I previously had a Windows 7 lower grade laptop and can view parts this size no problem, but ever since I got this new laptop I have been having a hard time just viewing STP files.Do you know if there is a compatibility issue with my video card or any suggestion on how the program can run smoothly on my laptop? Let me know if you need more information on my laptop.

Hey There,  After saving a part to an .stl file, creo leaves the part with facet outlines. How do I get rid of them without closing the part and reopening?

We are in the early phases of model based enterprise. Our MBE template models have several built-in flat to screen notes. If we activate GD&T Advisor application it runs a "Unvalidated Annotations" check. The only way to preserve annotation is to choose Validate All". The second screen warns of a different tolerance standard and has Delete All or Don't Delete.   Even when choosing Don't Delete" GD&T Advisor deletes ALL model notes, including those that have nothing to do with dimensioning. Having an application strip out all of our MBE template annotations is clearly not useful.   We have the GDT_ENTERPRISE_SET.  Is there a config option to turn this behavior off? Documentation states that without the GDT_ENTERPRISE_SET there would be an ignore button. What am I missing here?    

So, the last time I played with this (quite a while ago, right before my spineless/nutless stalker trolled people here), there was a little distortion in the corners where the spring got smaller.  This iteration is more complex, with a lot more features, but then I'm trying to get a lot more complex shape and I managed to eliminate most of that distortion.  You can't get all of it out because, honestly, Creo isn't meant for or 100% capable of what I'm trying to get it to do.  No matter, I got as close to perfect as I think is possible and reasonable.   Of note:  Creo flat refused to let me use a boundary blend to wrap a curve onto, at least in my application.  Also problematic were trying to use C2 continuous rounds to wrap onto, Creo seemed to like a conic round much better and the result is basically the same.  There is no "wave" to this helix as you would get in trying to use a helical spiral around an axis, as you can see by the fact that the flat

I'm pretty sure I could do a symmetric revolve up to 359.9 degrees in previous versions of Creo.    Could someone let me know if that is true?    I am using Creo 8 right now and it's maxing out at 359.5.    

I'm starting with synchronous J-Link application. I'm able to link & launch the sample applications, but not able to debug. The J-Link documentation does not explain much about it. Even on web, I see posts suggesting about debug messages, but that it not very efficient way. Any recommendations on the IDE to use and how to attach the debugger for the same?
