Creo Modeling Questions

I want to calculate the torsional stiffness of a cross member and compare two different materials. So i put Steel as material and enter the values:Material 1Tensile Yield Stress: 460 MPa Tensile Ultimate Stress: 670 MPa Material 2 Tensile Yield Stress: 550 MPa Tensile Ultimate Stress: 760 MPa After this, I do two simulations, one for each material. When I later open the Measures dialog box it shows that the "max_rot_x" is the same on both crossmembers (the rotation is in x-direction). This doesn't make any sense to me. The cross member with the better material quality should have a higher torsional stiffness than the exact same cross member with less quality, right? Is there any other way to calculate the torsional stiffness?See the pictures below

Hello,i´have been trying for long to do a Model Analisis. But I always get the error: "Insufficient Constrains".I have tryied everything. i have changed the material properties. Different places for constrains. I have also reserched in internet for a solution but I can´t find anything helpfull. Have someone an idea. Thank You.

I have done a static analysis on a beam and I want to calculate the stress at a specific point. How do i do that? I have tried using the dynamic query but I cant pick out the exact point as I want to.

Hallo,Wenn ich mir in der Zeichnung die Gewindemaße anzeigen lasse, sehe ich z.B. M10.....die Gewindetiefe....und die Kernlochtiefe.Wie bekomme ich die Gewindesteigung?? Ich weiß, manuell kann ich sie bei der Bemaßung hinzufügen. Aber geht das nicht automatisch??Es gibt ja eine .hol Datei mit den ganzen Werten.Ich möchte die Gewindebemaßung vom 3D-Teil in die Zeichnung übernehmen, und sollte z.B. M10x1 aussehen.

Hi, has anyone tried to use Creo 3 help center yet? I just loaded the files from disc, & when i try to search any topic it turns up 'no results'. Am i missing something? I can't believe i need help, to use the help center.John

ok, here is the dilemmawork went and put a cloud filing system in place, which is awesome. and i want to move all of our template files for Creo to it. but the file name of the cloud folder has a space in it ie user/user_name/cloud folder/and as far as i know, file names with spaces in them don't work in Creo,so, is there a way to make Creo read file names with spaces in them or am i up the creek with out a paddle?just so you know dropbox works a treat with file propagation between users. its awesome for transferring your common data between users locally or to your home system... much easer too. why we didnt use dropbox ill never know.

I recently installed the creo package and whenever i try to open any of the applications, i get the message, "creo 2.0 from ptc has stopped working". Then it forces me to close the program. I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled the entire package with no luck. Can anyone help me?

Hello,I´m new with "Sheets" ("blech" in german). I have been trying two whole days to make a sheet with cuts that can be rolled into an octagon, like origami. I have tried with Flach. Also using a lot the tools Profil Planar and Abwickeln (my Creo is in german), but at last I can´t permorm it. Have someone an idea how could I do what the picture shows?It would be nice that it can be folded and unfolded. Thanks a lot.

I am looking to auto add space before the text in a table. This table is used in a sheet format. Currently i am putting in 5 spaces before I type any text which isn't the easiest to get right every time.Image attached showing the 5 spaces in the text input box.
