Creo Modeling Questions

I'm having an issue with my imported DWG file disappearing. Whenever I import it at 1:1 scale, the sketch disappears. It will only stay if I keep the scale at a higher number, The sketch is a simple cylinder profile which i'm goign to revolve. Is it having problems with adding dimensions and thats why it's disappearing? The steps I take are begin a new sketch on a plane and choose Get Data>File System. Choose profile DWG and change import scale to 1:1. When I hit the green check mark, the sketch disappears. Help??

My dynamic rotation speed (or sensetivity) decreases the clsoer I zoom into a model. How do I change it so that it's constant regardless of how much I zoom in?

Hello, this is my ptc host id : 74-2F-68-02-D9-6AAs you can see it doesn't begin with 00 or 08, so Pro engineer 4.0 can't be installed correctly, What should i do ?

Don't you love it when Pro/Creo blows you completely out of the water?I don't have it as often as it used too, but it's still as frustrating.

Found it just minutes after I sent out the call. It was under RMB Set Representation then choose User Defined.I first thought that was only for new creation not for picking from a list like it is.Thanks,Ron

Hello Creo Analysis Expert I am doing a group project to develop and exoskeleton suit I attempt to analyse the stress of key on the hub area but it the value came up awefully large as I don't know how to properly constraint.Can someone teaches me how to properly constraint a rotating body. you would see in the video below..that the window for save copy is problematic. it does not open in full...it does not move...sooo many issue? anybody from PTC seeing this? Video Link : 3767

How can I change the length unit from inch to mm in creo 2.0?

below are the screen shots of the two displays. In Pro|Engineer wildfire 3.0 the planes and there names are arranged neatly, whereas just have a look at the planes and the names in Creo 2.0 screen shot..they are actually intersecting. Hi AllI have just found another issue with Creo 2.0 with work cellsI was trying to import a saved work cell last week, but when I tried to load, it came up with a new screenNow I tried to tick all of these option one by one and load the work cell, but all I got was this message.I couldn't load any of my saved work cells.Now we kind of figured it out, we resaved the current work cell in Creo 2.0 under another name and treid to load it again, this time with the option above ticked, I received this box belowthen by clicking the box circled and selecting the CSYS as shown belowWE CAN LOAD THE SAVED WORK CELL..what does this mean, something has changed within work cells from Creo 1/ Pro E to Creo 2, any saved work cell is now useless, so any specials cells you may have created and saved, unless you can open a file with it in place and resaved from within Creo 2.0, can't be used....PTC need to fix this...Peter

I just had a user ask me about how to project the shadow of a spoon shaped object onto a plane.There is a point source some distance in front of the spoon. The spoon may not be normal to the point source or to the projection plane.What I did for him to get a quick answer was to create points on the edge of the spoon, create curves between the point source and the points on the spoon edge. I then use those curves to create in-line points on the projection plane. When I want to paste my piece, I cannot move it on the left or the right with an angle of 0. I can only move my «Pasting» into 45 degrees ! Help me please.
