Hi All,   I'm quite new to customisation using web.link. I have a customisation that is very close to doing what I need, except that I cannot work out how to trigger a certain option. I have already worked out, from the documentation that the pfcModel.ExportIntf3D() instruction will use the default export profile for the export settings, which is OK. I can control this easily with our setup. However, when exporting manually there is the option "Customize Export", a check box in the "Save a Copy" dialogue box. If I use this, I can export my assembly with the origin point set to a coordinate system of my choosing. How can I either invoke this dialogue or set the origin of the export to an existing named coordinate system (e.g. "export_csys") in the assembly? Is this possible?

I'm using a custom menu created with J-Link to set the material in a part. The method pfcPart.Part.RetrieveMaterial works fine when the config option pro_material_dir is set to a local/network drive. However when this is set to a Windchill location using wtpub://[servername]/[material library] I get the error: com.ptc.wfc.Implementation.pfcExceptions$ToolkitNotFound. The material library location is correct (it points to the right location when manually setting the material) and the Windchill server is registered and authentication is done when starting up Creo. Do I need to make a connection to Windchill within my program before I can access items such as material files?

Dear Sirs, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding the Creo drawing inspection function shown in the attached image. This function automatically generates a dimension report and allows for the export of dimension data to an Excel file via the "Export to XLS" button. I am looking to automate this process using Creo TOOLKIT, specifically to automatically extract dimensions and generate the report. However, I am not very experienced with programming. Hello, I received a message in German saying that the mass properties are outdated. In subsequent processes, I always receive a similar message.Can someone explain how to fix this?Is it possible that some configuration has changed and can no longer be used? I dont want just to hide the notification.The Startparts are created in Creo 10.0.3.0 and am still using it.I activated the mass_property_calculate and changed but its not solving the issue.

We want to export multiple Creo drawings to PDFs that are in a windows folder. I am considering to export using Excel based VBA macro. I combined the sample macro provided as a part of installation, Async_Mode_Example.xls & the VBA code provided at https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS141963. When I run the macro it fails at model.Export line. The error thrown is pfcExceptions::XToolkitNotDisplayed. I am stuck and not able to proceed. Please help. Let me know if additional information is required. I tried with Creo7 & Creo9 but still I see the same error. 

Hello, Software used: Creo 8.0.When I set up combined state view in the model I can show different dimensions and annotations in each combined state view, but when add a new view to the drawing and select the combined state view, the annotations and dimensions are not displayed in the drawing as they are in the model.  When I select show model annotations for the drawing view it shows every single dimension available not just the annotations and dimension I displayed in the Model according to the combined state view. In older versions of Creo, this was possible, not sure if there is a setting that should be changed in new versions. Thanks,     

Hi,    I have a sheet metal geometry as shown. I am trying to count the number of bends using the toolkit.Here's how we thought of it:1. Collect flat, flange, and bend features from the model tree2. Get vector values of reference planes of collected features3. Increase the number of horizontal/vertical bends using vector values   However, the following problems were expected:  Five flat features are visible in the feature tree in the illustration. When looking at the unfolded shape, the number of bends is 1 horizontally and 2 times vertically.   Any good way to count the number of bends?Any ideas would be appreciated.   Warm Regards, SeonHo Cha.

Hi all,   I would like to know if it is possible to pilot the options list in the variant builder from Option model.   In the variant builder, there is an option list: Each value pilot the view or the hidden af a sub-assembly, or a set of components. Where each choices is stored in CREO? In the pro program, in parameters?   Is someone know if it is possible to pilot them (with toolkit or SmartAssembly)Regards  

Trying to post more.... I teach a wide variety of Creo classes and usually tell participants in class to try to run a mostly stock config.pro file as PTC does a good job with the defaults.  With that said our/your Creo administrators like to modify those configuration settings and get us accustomed to sometimes old ways often slower ways of doing things.  For example, It's simply slower to feel compelled to look straight on in a sketch 100 percent of the time.  Looking for a config.pro option to close dialog boxes. In Creo 9.0 the development team felt it necessary to make the dialog boxes automatically open for the user to fill in prompts. After all an open UI seems helpful.   In my effort to be open-minded, I've tried my best to use Creo with this new default.  I however find the dialog boxes open right where my model is + I use effective speed tips in Creo (that I teach - maybe a topic for a lunch-and-learn).  The dialog boxes open is A b

Hello all, I have a application which loads model into creo using ProMdlFiletypeLoad() and then I use a Macro using ProMacroLoad and ProMacroExecute. I have noticed that if my model is active in current window the ProMacroLoad does not work. It works only when there is no active model.  What could be the reason and How can I solve this?

I want to change the standard orientation.This was already discussed here: Standard Orientation view cannot be overwritten. - PTC Communitybut the result isnt complete for me. To Change the standard orientation, i have to change the x and y angle.But i dont know how to change it. Can someone explaine it with a video if possible bcs i am using creo 10 in german language and it is not easy to follow the english instructions?

Hi, I'm trying to use the Visual Basic API to create a drawing with a custom template, but I'm getting the error message:   System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: 'pfcExceptions::XToolkitNotFound'   The line of code on which I get the error message is:   Dim drawing As IpfcDrawing = session.CreateDrawingFromTemplate(Mdl.CommonName, "D-CUSTOM", Mdl.Descr, drwnCreateOptns)   I tried changing the template to an out of the box template and that works, so it has to be the custom template, is there anything I'm missing?

I refer toolkit user guideline document (tkuse) and object toolkit document to get idea about methods.  Is it the only document which can be refered to get idea of methods defined in toolkit api and does it contain all the information required? I just want to know if I am missing out some methods which are not defined in this documents.
