Hello Team,   After the import is successfully imported while running the service, exception is thrown for the dependencing jar     But the above dependency jar is shown in thingworx extension monitor.   Using gradle for extension   Any help will be greatly appreciated

In ThingworxStorage logs the logger user is different than the user returne by Resources["CurrentSessionInfo"].GetCurrentUser();   The service I have try to set a property to the user:   logger.debug(l"Input->PlantUPL-> " + PlantUPL);var user = (UserName!=null) ? Hello together,   I want to exchange some experience on how to model a complex machine in the best way. The machines are produced in higher quantities, with different configurable features. Principal Sketch 1) Real World Model Overview     On one hand I can model the whole machine as one ThingTemplate and incoporate all the features via Thing Shapes (for reusability with other machine types that share the common features). Principal Sketch 2) One Big Thing     On the other hand I can model the whole machine by using different Things for the parts and use Services to gater the information from all them. Principal Sketch 3) many small things     I am not sure what is the best way. Maybe someone can share his/her experience on modelling such a job.   Regards Frank

Hi,I have trouble with the demo Analytics Model in Analytics Manager. Everytime I try to delete is I get the message "Model: JetEnginePredictiveModel can't be deleted, is in use by a Job!". If I watched by Analytics Jobs in Analytics Manager I didn't see any jobs. The statistic of the last 1000 jobs says Completed: 5 but the list is empty. It there any way to delete is? Maybe in filesystem or so?

Hi,   I have installed the trial version - twxFoundationH2Trial-8.3.2 and going through the training -  Introduction to ThingWorx 8 Part 1: Getting Started .   It begins with import of data - entites & mashups. After this step of importing, I can no more login. I uninstalled/reinstalled - it is the same. Anyone experienced this? Thanks for the help.   -Ravi

Hi, I have came across with some interesting idea for scaling.  With JDBC driver v9.4-1200 onward is possible to set up a Tomcat server in a way it uses multiple jdbc URLs. Each of which is possible to mark as "any", "master", "slave", "secondary", "preferSlave" and "preferSecondary". Driver then makes a distinction which queries are write and read and sends them to appropriate DB (i.e INSERTS goes to DB on which the user has permissions to write, SELECTS goes to read only DB etc..). That would effectively divide whole load between several DB. Of coarse this only make sense on HA configuration, there needs to be a Master/Slave and replication needs to be set up properly.  This also only applies to TomCat config only. Since Tomcat is used for different Persistence Providers, config.xml is almost in default. and Persistence configurations are made in platformSettings.json.  Question: Would be possible to set up such an environment with platformSettings only?    J

Hello, I want to built a custom app in Navigate, in which it can download Windchill representation file (.plt,pvz, etc)and PDF. When we publish , we get option to save the drawing as PDF.   so is their any way to download the drawing /design ?   I tried to use the service called "GetCreoDataView " from Windchill Connector ,but don't know how to use it. Can any one please guide , to download representation and attachment using RestAPI ?

Hi, is there a service that will return a list of thingshapes implemented by a thing template (or thing derived from the thing template). Thought there would be as they are displayed in the composer, but can't find it.   Also looking for a service similar to GetServiceDefinitions() that will return the 'Category' parameter. That way I can filter the results so that I don't get all the services inherited from the base templates.   Thanks in advance. K  

Hi,   I'm trying to use the Tree Grid Advanced Widget version 4.1.1 in my mashup.   I have my data service that returns the first level of the tree. When expending a top-level row, the behaviour is weird:   -- The expansion triangle changes (this is expected)   -- The top Level Row is replaced by a child row (very weird!).   -- Only one child row is displayed (not expected)   I logged details when the GetChildData service is called and it does return the expected rows (e.g. 50)   I'm trying to match what I'm doing with the sample shipped with the widget without success 😞   Can someone help me figure out what I'm missing or doing incorrectly?   Thank you,   Eric Lamontagne Averna Technology

In a Thingworx service, we are setting a property value inside a script. The property is a remotely bound tag to Kepware. In the next line, we are trying to read the value but instead of getting the recently set value we get the old value.    logger.debug(me.value);  // Value is 0 initiallyme.value = 1;logger.debug(me.value);  // Still returns  0 Is this the expected behavior? We have tried both "read from cache" and "fetch from remote" settings on the parameter.   If we add a pause to the code we need about 200 ms to get the new value.   Many thanks!Erik
