Hi, i need to change a property definition on a Thing. The thing is Called TT and is an instance of the template A that has a property defined like this:   Property Name: info Property DataShape: DB   DB has inside 2 other infotable of the type DB_row.   I added 2 columns to the datashape definition DB_row. saved the datashape. I restarted the Thing TT to apply changes but when i browse  the property info i didn't see the 2 new columns. How can i fix this issue ?   Thanks    

Hello Team,   I have a very simple database configured at Azure SQL and want to read data from it in my TWX instance,   I have imported the Relational Database extension from Labs, created a MSSQLServer thing and configured my JDBC as below:   jdbc:sqlserver://vieiraserver.database.windows.net:1433;database=VieiraDB2;encrypt=true;trustServerCertificate=false;hostNameInCertificate=*.database.windows.net;loginTimeout=30;   But no matter what, I can´t get to connect.   Please, any ideas?   Tks, Chris

When predicting a Boolean goal such as Failure in the next hour or any other goal that has a yes or no answer, Thingworx Analytics(TWXA) models will output a 'risk' of the event occurring. TWXA will intelligently pick a threshold beyond which that risk warrants attention. 1. In Analytics Builder, click on the export button 2. This will export a PMML model and download it for you 3. Open up the PMML model, in the output section, you will find a condition that explains the threshold that was selected by TWX Analytics.   In this example case, TWXA chose 0.5 as the best Threshold.   Note: The export button will only be available in Builder for TWXA 8.4+.

Hi ,  I would allow the end user to set a maximum time for the data you would stored , for example, for the data retrieved from devices , the use only need to keep them for  6 months.      the questions are:  1. How to develop a daemon job which scan the data older than 6 months and then delete them ? 2. How and When to trigger the job ?    Regards, Sean

Hi all,i used the .NET EMS sdk to develop edge microserver application and i found con client configurator class some properties to store properties if internet connection went down. It automatically create a log file and when connection comes online properties uploads to the thingworx foundation server by itself.I searched for properties on same "clientConfigurator" class in documentation for JAVA SDK EMS but i can't find, i used the last release of it ( 27 october ). Anyone use it ? PTC says always on store offline messages but seems it is not implemented on java EMS, do i have to implement on my own ?thanks

Is it possible to configure the PDF extension to output files in US letter size (8.5" x 11") instead of A4 size (210mm x 297mm)?

In the 8.2 release, we have upgraded our Mashup Runtime to jQuery 3.2.  This will give the platform a much needed upgrade to its core visualization library which will bring bug fixes, better performance, security enhancements, HTML5 compatibility and support for current browsers.  We will continue to upgrade all of our libraries across the platform with each ThingWorx release to ensure we are current and optimized.   We are releasing this functionality in 8.2 as an early preview and to enable regression testing of your ThingWorx applications.  In the Next Gen Composer, simply click on User Preferences and look for this setting:     Enabling jQuery3 runtime   JQuery 3 does introduce some new breaking changes (not from PTC!) that may affect existing apps.  We recommend turning on the JQuery3 option and testing your apps as soon as possible so there is time to fix any issues.  Please let PTC know if you are finding issues through our support s

I am seeing Unable to Invoke Service GetXML on ContentLoaderFunctions everytime I execute GetXML function of resource ContentLoaderFunctions with URL http://www.holidaywebservice.com/HolidayService_v2/HolidayService2.asmx/GetCountriesAvailable .   I have created one service which internally gets the xml on a particular URL. It works fine on my Home TW composer. But here in my Workstation TW composer it is causing some issue in service. So I was trying to call GetXML function directly. It is showing this error Unable to Invoke Service GetXML on ContentLoaderFunctions.   I have all visible , run time permissions in place.

Hi all,    I have created a remote thing and it is connected to an Allen Bradley Logix 5500 controller via Industrial Connectivity (isConnected bit is true). I have configured and bound a few properties however, some are updating and are showing "quality: good" while others are showing "quality: unknown". See attached image.    The one that is of "good" quality was added first and maybe an hour later I added the others that are of "unknown" quality. I am still connected to my runtime and ALL configured values are changing/updating in the controller.    The property start type is "read edge value".    I am running version 8.4.0-b2013.    Any help would be greatly appreciated! We are trying to set up a OPC DA connection. After installing and configuring the extension from the installation manual, we get the below error messages when starting the OPC client service? This is a warning for everyone.  If you use any of the extensions from the TWX marketplace, test extensively before doing a full migration to 8.4.1.  Because of the way widgets are now implemented in 8.4.1 there may be numerous visualization extensions from the marketplace that are impacted and broken in some way.  I can confirm 8.4.1 breaks the Drag and Drop file upload extension and the FileRepository Home Mashup extension.  Being that these extensions are issued by "Thingworx Labs" PTC has no obligation to fix or provide support. 

Hi all,   I want to build a menu. On each item in the menu I want to use a negative icon and a normal icon. I have seen this once in one of the ThingWorx demo's. They look like this:            How did they to it? Is there an easy way? Or did they use CSS? If CSS, can someone help me how this CSS would look like?    Kind regards,  Jasper

Hello, I'm working on a demo that connect an Azure IoT Hub with Thingworx using the connector, but I get two warnings and some erros at the begining of the execution of the azure-iot.bat file. I read that it could be something related to the Event-hub endpoint, but I think I have the azure-iot.conf file in order. The connection between the Azure IoT Hub and the Thingworx platform is stablished and I can import my IoT Device, but I believe those errors don't allow me to see the data I'm sending. Some help will be appreciated.
