We have connected Mitsubishi FX1N, 2N, 3G and Omron PLC to the KEPServerEX using respective drivers through ethernet encapsulation mode and all PLCs are communicating with KEPServerEX as expected. However, we are facing the issue in Mitsubishi FX1N PLC when connected to KEPServerEX using the driver Mitsubishi FX through physical medium as ethernet encapsulation. Ethernet encapsulation is performed through MOXA Nport (TCP server Mode).Observation1) The communication between KEPServerEX and FX1N PLC is success and can be able to read PLC register data as expected.2) But whenever PLC get power restarted, observed abnormal/random values in PLC registers (Only in FX1N PLC).3) If KEPServerEX connection removed then no such observations noticed in FX1N PLC

Hi all, I have been experimenting with the Kepware Configuration API, specifically creating tags. I see that the data types in the API (EX: "servermain.TAG_DATA_TYPE": 21) are integer form, but I am unable to find a table that shows which data type converts to which integer, and when I create a tag without putting in a data type in the content it doesn't seem to automatically get the correct data type. Anyone know what integers correlate to which data types? Thanks!

Hello All,I have a service which takes a input in string (it is basically a parent equipment name) in the output I am getting an infotable I want to print all assets under that parent. I am to do that but only first equipment is getting printed. PFA and also check data type I might be missing something  Thanks

Hi, I'm fairly new to using Thingworx API and API in general.  I want to get data from Thingworx using API get json  format and then push it to influxDB and finalluy  to Grafana for vizualisation. My ideas are not clear on how to architecture this ? where to preprocess data , vscode or influxDB ? and then how to automate data fetching? As i understand API call to Thingworx returns data at time of request..  Thanks 

Hello dears from the ptc community, I am reaching out to seek assistance with an integration issue I am experiencing. In may company, we have a machine with a Rockwell setup that includes a CPU 1756-L72S paired with a 1756-L7SP (partner) and a 1756-EN2T in slots 0, 1, and 2 respectively, within a 9-slot chassis. All remaining slots in this chassis are currently occupied.Additionally, within the same panel, we have a remote rack also in a 9-slot chassis, featuring another 1756-EN2T for Ethernet communication with the CPU. This remote rack has a single spare slot available in position 8. The communication between the Ethernet cards in the main and remote racks is done by a Stratix 5700 (1783-BMS10CGP). Following the implementation of this project, I have been tasked with connecting our process information management system OPC server, specifically KepserverEX 6, to the machine to make available a complete set of controller tags. To use the spare slot in the remot

FactoryTalk View SE version 10 - using MODBUS Serial - addresses are not active until I open up Quick Client, Once I open up Quick Client, the addresses in Factorytalk View SE show up. then once I close Quick Client, the addresses do no come through and do not show up.

I have this service getprocessdata which returns START_DATE and COMPLT_DATE.I am calling this service inside of another service that generates report where I need to display start and complete date coming from my getprocessdata service, but the date time  getting returned is in utc.I also created a demoservice where I called the same service getprocessdata and printed the start_date keeping the output set to dateTime, the output was as expected.why is such conversion taking place.Things I have tried:converting the obj.entry storing start and end date to date time, long but still getting date time in utc used var start_date = new Date(table_start_Date); still getting in utcCould someone please help me out on how to prevent this date time conversion.Thank you in advance.

With TWX 9.1.5, I've used Grid advanced widget to present infotables in mashups. If I wanted user to allow change sorting criteria, I ticked "enable sorting" in widget setting, and had buttons for operator to change sorting criteria (as far as I remember, it still needed to define service to make sorting).With TWX 9.5, I use Grid - and have no setting called "Enable sorting". Was the name changed? Is this setting still available? If not - how can make interface for operator to allow him to set which column should be treated as sorting criteria, and also change it ascending/descending?

Hi Everyone, I came across the doubt like I have three services for eg. serA, serB and serC. serA is used as input parameter (which is taking input from text widget and dropdown widget)  for both the service B and C now the bindings which I have done is when serA  invoke completed then it triggers both the serB AND servC and the serB all data goes to grid data and serC all data goes to bar chart (which is basically count of grid data column)now how I want is the service  C should trigger after serB invoke is completed (means data in grid loaded then chart dislpy) or both should occur at the same time   so suggest me proper bindings The problem which I am getting is sometime grid data loaded and bar chart isn't loaded while some time bar chart is loaded and grid is not so my requirement is either both should load same time or bar graph should display after grid data is loaded.Regards,Lav

I have a system where I want to get the timezoneoffset in thingworx. No matter what browser time I have it is always converted to UTC (which is fine). However i want to know what the timezoneoffset was, and if i used this java method it always return 0 as it was internally converted by thingworx.

I have created simulation channel and started logging in the SQL using DSN.However, the logging interval condition is 1 minutes. TImestamp is used for System.I facing issue that ms timestamp is increasing sometimes, and after few hours it will increase in 1 sec.  How to keep second data constant.

I am completely inexperienced in using KEPServerEX. I am already download KEPServerEX 6 demo version. Our company is currently implementing a project that will deploy the use of KEPware. I want to ask whether I need a license to use during the product development phase or not. If I want to use a driver that is not available in KEPWare's library, what do I need to do? Thanks a lot.

I have developed a custom extension where i have created one service that is exporting excel file from an input infotable data. now want to download that file to local system from extension service on click of mashup widget.   Is there a way to download the file directly in local system from extension service?

Hello Team, We are having Two Kepware for tunneling OPC DA to UA. First Kepware is installed Locally with OPC DA server in source, Second one is in L2 system to connect first Kepware as OPC UA client. Issue is whenever OPC DA server or OPC UA server got disconnected  from source with L2 Kepware, it's Quick Client hold the last good Value with quality Bad. As soon we open new QC it shows unknown value. Can you please explain me about this phenomenal?  If you do any have whitepaper please share with us. Due to this above issue, MES captured the last hold  bad Values from L2.
