Facing Tag Data updation issue in kepware server. it is taking more then 60 min to update Tag data, As well as some tag data is not updating. all data is coming at PLC level at real time and in commant prompt, i am receiving response within 1 milli sec. 

How to add retain flag in Kepware publish so that the MQTT broker can retain messages from Kepware? Is there any other approach so that message can be retained in MQTT broker when sent via IoT gateway?

Hello Team,I searched on ChatGPT found this below Observation, I tried to find same file but could not able to get it. If any idea about it, please let me know. My main concern is client's Kepware 'server_runtime.exe' service consuming 1.84 GB memory with 99%CPU utilization. Kepware is having around 36000 Tags which are connected to the 2 OPC UA client. OS details:  Moreover, I referred the following document CS281787.

Is there a way to temporarily force a value in KEPServerEX for tags readding their value from a real field device? Seems the only way is to recreate all the tags in a new project in a sim driver.

Hello, community. I’m experiencing an issue while transferring a KepserverEx 5.3 license on an offline computer. When I try to 'Transfer a Product Activation' using the License Utility, I receive the following error: 'Virtual Machine Detected: Transfers Disabled.'  Has anyone encountered this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!  

I  have  Thingworx Kepawre Server 6 and i want to read PLC data. First thing i added a channel in kepware (device information, communication protocol: Ethernet TCP/IP , S7 300..) then added tags. When i launch OPC Quick Client, i seed "bad" in Qaulity column. When i ping the PLC ip it responds. What is the thing i'm missing here ?  Thanks 

Hello, I have some problem with use of driver for siemens PLC on KepServerEx v6.The server is unable to load the driver with this log message:"Unable to load driver DLL 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Kepware\KEPServerEX 6\drivers\siemens_s7_plus_ethernet.dll'."There is already a topic on the PTC support page but it's not enough precise for me (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS370652).I uninstalled then installed the driver but it's always NG. The dll file is of course in the good directory.Has anyone ever had the problem?  OS: windows 7 SP1KepServerEx: v6.13.250.0siemens_s7_plus_ethernet.dll: v6.13.250.0 Thanks

I have an application and i can send data using HTTP connector. How to add that HTTP connector in kepware?. If i change some data in application and send it through connector it need to be reflected in kepware.

Kepware: Is there a way to disable the OPC UA client browsing option in Kepware or restrict the view to only configured channels or tags? Is it possible to disable the browsing feature in Kepware so that OPC UA Client users cannot navigate to other data? Hi,  I am looking to transform data points from some of our older FANUC system R-30iA and R-J3iB welding robots, Arctool software version 6.22 to 7.70  we purchased the HMI Device SNPX option, (FOCAS is CNC only and not available for robots) which provides a simulated GE plc communication protocol. My goal is to provide OPC-UA tags to Machine Metrics monitoring platform         I am still using the trial version of KEPware Server EX. using the GE OPEN driver for connectivity.  Seems to be connected, but it does not appear to be pulling in the SNPX_ASG variables. Hello all. I have the following setupMES OPC DA <-> MES Kepware UA server <->  DeltaV Kepware UA server <-> DeltaV OPC DA Been getting the following messages on 1. MES Kepware UA server: OPC UA client | Failed to add subscription for device. | Status = 'Timeout trying to perform the operation.' 2. DeltaV Kepware UA server: OPC DA client | Read request timeout on device. Been causing the MES OPC DA to fail opc read/write operations randomly. Anyone has encountered these before and can provide advice on how to troubleshoot or resolve this?

Hi, I moved a few licenses between computers. One of the licenses appears to be "good", but anytime I use it the log indicates it is time limited... After 2 hours, the driver does indeed stop. Is there anything I can do to enable this activation if it is not in an active support contract? The other licenses moved without issue. The original computer was KepServerEX 6.9 and the new computer is 6.10. Are licenses tied to Kep versions?

Hi all, I have a KepwareEX V 6.15 Server connecting against several S7-1500 via OPC (OPC UA Client) now I would like to forward the SimaticAlarmsAndConditions (ns=3;i=1815) via KepWare to my alarm client. Is that possible? It seems that the needed type are not supported. Registering on that node I receive a BadMonitoredItemFilterUnsupported Error.

Hello again, I have a question regarding how Kepware, using OpenProtocol handles the Job Info commandset. I have been told by an AtlasCopco representative, that before sending a Job Number via the message "Select Job" (MID38) to the PF6000 device, I must send a seperate message: MID30 "Job Number upload request".  0030Job numbers upload requestOpen, FEP Based on the documentation available to me, I can see that the Job Number Data command set uses MID30, then use MID31 to request information.However, because the values in the Job Number Data commandset are Read-Only, I do not think I can explicitly send this UploadRequest(MID30) before setting the JOB_JOBNUM value. (MID38)  As such, I would appreciate the following information.Does setting the JOB_JOBNUM value via KepwareOPC, automatically send a upload request message (MID30), then the Select Job(MID38) message to the device?If setting the JOB_JOBNUM does not automatically send a upload request message, h

Hello everyone,I’m seeking guidance on a specific issue I’m encountering with a MODBUS RTU device connected through KepserverEx.Previously, we communicated directly with the device, and we were able to modify its serial number (S/N) using a custom-built frame. However, we’ve since transitioned to using a KepserverEx server for communication, and I’m unsure how to perform the same operation in this new setup.Here’s the current situation:The MODBUS RTU device is successfully connected and communicating through KepserverEx.We have access to the following suites in KepserverEx: IoT Gateway, Modbus, and Advanced Tags.I can unlock the device's electronics and enable it to enter the mode required to modify the serial number.The issue lies in accessing and modifying the S/N parameter via the KepserverEx server.Thank you in advance for your help! Folks, I have an issue with KepserverEX connecting to an Emerson Floboss 107. We can run Radzio! modbus master and pull valid 16-bit integers and IEEE floating point values via modbus TCP. In KepserverEX I have created channels for modbusTCP, used Fisher serial drivers with ethernet encapsulation and various other drivers. When viewing diagnostics, there are messages about authentication issues. I have verified the user ID, password and access levels in the Floboss. I have tried no authentication on the ethernet port, user ID AND user access level and verified the corresponding settings in Kepserver with no luck. KepserverEX diagnostics show NO data being moved either direction. I assume this is due to authentication issues.  Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ray Taff
