Hi,How can I change the default accuracy of the screws to four digits?I have already change the values in "\EMX80_M021_PT\configuration\bore_screw.cfg" but inserting the screws these values are rounded up.
dear friends;we are using creo 3 for cam programming , in roughing program although I mentioned ramp angle as 5 degree /less than 90 , cutter directly plunging on the material with out taking any ramp, does any one know the reason ? I am using volume and window .
For example, I would like "COORDINATE_OUTPUT" to default to SEQUENCE_SYS instead of the current MACHINE_SYS every time I make a new tool path. Also, is there a way to custom populate the quick parameter options under the "parameter" tab? Common used parameters such as FIXT_OFFSET_REG used to set your G54-59, should be readily available, and I would not have to open the advanced parameter to access it. Any way to do this?
I've frequently seen old table saws, radial arm saws, and other equipment which have brass nuts on their (presumably not-stainless) steel arbor shafts. Besides reduced likelihood of galling, are there other reasons brass might be spec'd? Preventing wear on arbor?
So I have a quick questions... I know you can have multiple builds of Creo on a single machine, but can you share files between those builds? We are currently on Creo 3.0 M100 and need to upgrade to M120 to resolve a couple issues. In doing so, we will need to delete and create new workspaces within Windchill. I have a couple users who have large projects that aren't really on the server yet, or going to be on Windchill in multiple workspaces, so it would be a great help if I could leave them on M100 for a bit and upgrade the rest to M120. Not sure if this will work or not, just looking for some input. Thanks
I am sure this information is somewhere but I can't find it. Changes for lots of other things but not CAM.Josh
Creo Parametric Help CenterI hope a lot of effort was put into refinement, because the new features don't look all that exciting.Josh
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening.I've purchased and installed Creo 3.0. I've also purchased Creo N/C complete machining. Is there a good quick start manual explaining which directory the config.pro should be placed and is there suggested settings for standardmodeling and manufacturing?I should have copied a config.pro from a previous employer.Thank you,Jay.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am a student at the local community college, and I was wondering what computers were being used for your Creo industry and classroom usage. Any help would be appreciated. If you can help, I am looking for the CPU, RAM, Graphics Card, and SSD or HD information. What would you recommend for a good machine for college replacement and why.
