Mathcad

I have tried several times to have the link emailed to me to download the free version of Mathcad but I am not receiving the email. I have checked the spam folders and there is no email.   

Dears, I´m using with great success the Coolprop wrapper, but one challenging task is to form the "mixture" string. Air for instance must be written as: "O2[0.21]&N2[0.79]" When working with complex mixtures, like up to 10 components, my idea was to use a table and extract a "concat" function from the table. All good doing it the hard way:(...)Problem: if I add or remove one of the 10 components from the table, maybe for a simpler composition, then the formula for "mixture" would fail. Solution: maybe write a program? I attached a simple example (clark transformation). Assume that I do not know the relationship between Uabc ,Ualpha and Ubeta. How can I derive the final transformation from the known equations? Thanks. The file was writen in Prime 8.

I am using a step function to define the first two values which are slightly different than the subsequent values and was able to do this in MathCAD v15, but I have just moved to Prime 8 and the function no longer works.  The except from MathCAD v15 is shown below.  How do I do the same sort of iterative function in Prime 8?

Good morning, guys.I've struggling to complete the installation of the software of yours.It always ends up with an error, no matter what.The error message appears after completing 1% of the installation as follow:"Some applications failed or cancelled. Click information icon of failed application for details"Although, when I click it for further details, it just states the obvious ... that the "installion has failed " and it has created a log about the error , this which I could never find.Looking forward for a feedback for support.It's kinda frustating.And I'm in really need of the software right now.

I was having problems with the MCDM converter and ran through a bunch of troubleshooting.  I finally got to the step of uninstall and reinstall.  Sadly, I have not been able to reinstall, getting 1% error.  I use this software often for school and I have a student license.  I am having trouble downloading the installation file also but got it on another computer.  Anyway I am going to take some snips of my screens and hopefully someone can tell me something to check to fix this.  I am getting stressed and desperate as I must have this software to complete my classwork.  next  nextnotice this closeup of above nextNotice again still showing Zero MB  The installer then sits here and does not download and after about 20 minutes fails and trying to restart it fails.  I have been trying to fix this for hours for the last three days and I am needing help soon. I am hoping somone knows something else I can do or try, I

Hi I'm trying to solve an issue where I want the if function to work, when one of the variables in some cases could be undefined. Is this possible, or have some work around? I'm using Prime 9.  

I m trying to calculate the reaction influence line for a simple indeterminate beam problem.I built up functions for fixed end moment and slope deflection equations. Now I m trying to calculate rotations at the end supports of the beam, I m getting error because the slope deflections equations are conditional expressions. I m expecting set of end moments when the load is placed on the particular element. How can I achieve this ?

Hi I want to extract a given value from a table based upon two variables. For exampel, by selecting the variables "A" and "b" I want the extracted value (output) to be "5". Is this possible to do? Thanks in advance.   

Computer was replaced need to download the installation files for Mathcad 15 to reinstall on new computer.

Has anyone figured out the format to use the TAG tool when doing an internal link. The instructions seem to say the TAG is #xxx. But when I link to it a text box I don't get it to transfer to the TAG. Yes i am using [ctrl-click] .In Mathcad 15 it was a useful tool to move around a multi-page worksheet.  

Hello, I have recently installed Prime 9.0 on my professional DELL laptop running Win 10 but when I launch the program, nothing happens, no pop-up screen nothing: the mouse cursor does its usual circles for a few seconds and then vanishes. I had to run the installation under a dedicated admin account but then back to my account, I can't start Prime even I run it again with admin priviledges. It actually happened recently with an install I did with 7.0 and I could no longer launch it in the end while I could use it for a year or so. It is what motivated the migration to 9.0 but the problem remains. I've checked for a log file in the PTC folder but could not see one. Also checked the Symantec log files, nothing reported.  If you could point me to some solutions I could explore, I would appreciate. Thank you. Christophe--

My company, Aerolab LLC, purchased a floating network license for Mathcad. PTC support installed Mathcad Prime 9 remotely for us. He gave us no information as to where the license is located or how to access it. I am trying to Install and activate another copy of Mathcad to use this floating network license. Please help.

I have purchased the student account. However, I have not received my product code.When do i receive this? Should this not be automatic for a digital product?

I'm trying to buy Mathcad for use in the classes I teach.  PTC seems to have handed off their online sales to a company called Digital River, but the web site also directs me to a sales rep who works for a company called EAC Product Development Solutions.  She offered to sell me a 1 year license for $295 when the online price is $56.   I don't understand what's going on.  Is this the same version?   I just got off the phone with the rep at EAC (who was professional and helpful, BTW) and she couldn't explain what PTC was doing, but is trying to get me an answer.  She did say that she gets lots of complaints about how hard it is to deal with PTC.  Ugh.   Can anyone in the community enlighten me?  It seems like PTC has decided to outsource their sales, but has sent it to two different companies who don't talk to each other and have different pricing.  Can this be right?  I have to be missing something.   Mark      

We have an older perpetual version of Mathcad that we need to move from an old computer to a new one.  I cannot find anywhere in my account profile to change the MAC address so that the new computer will be recognized.  Does anyone know how to do that?

Here, the students and I saw an animation on the site Pendulum - Wikipedia showing the position of the velocity and acceleration vectors of the pendulum.We wanted to reproduce the acceleration animation in Mathcad - see the animation and the file in the attachment.But our animation is different from Wikipedia's animation -  we have a maximum acceleration, and there is a minimum. Where is the error - with us or in Wikipedia?
