Mathcad 15.0Hello Can you please send me a link to the Mathcad 15.0 download on your website? I can not find it any more. There only seems to be a download for the prime 8.0 version.I am trying to download and use my Matcad 15.0 licence. My laptop got wiped recently and i lost access to it. I still have my disk and product code to re-instate but no disk drive on my machine.You helped me with this problem previously in 2019. many thanks and regards, John Dillon

I want to plot the adiabatic flame temperature of a mixture, given the excess air present but I don't know how to tell/write the program to find the value given the excess air. I'm using Coolprop's fluid properties libraries to get the enthalpy of the mixture and mathcad prime 7.

Hi everyone Does anyone know if the setting of using ORIGIN in string indexing is stored in any variable? A work around would be to use one of the string functions and check what it returns.

Over the years I used most versions of Mathsoft's Mathcad versions from the 1990's to 2017 (probably using Mathcad 14/15), when I retired.I have many legacy files from Mathcad 14/15 which I would like to convert using Mathcad Prime 8.0.However, after I installed and start the Prime 8.0 trial version, I selected the convert MCD/MCDX (which I had selected during installation) and loaded an old file into it (which was recognised as Mathcad 14/15), it is quickly flagged as 'No License' and conversion halts.Why is this? I no longer have access to older versions of Mathcad, which is why I hope to eventually purchase a full single user Prime 8.0 licenseso I can convert and continue using some if not all of my old files. I was hoping that the 15-day trial would give me a chance to see how successful conversion might be. Is there a solution?Please reply As soon as possible.

Hi allI am using Visual Basic for Application in Excel and am trying to pass an array of strings from Excel to Prime 8 through the API. I have managed to pass a matrix/array of numbers, but if I change the matrix content to strings, the OutputGetMatrixValue object fails with Errorcode = 7, suggesting "Matrix result is invalid." See Figure.png and below code. It appears not possible from the help documentation, see Figure2.png. Alternatively, I could convert the strings to unicode numbers, and then pass them to Excel through the below code, and then convert them back to strings. I am in the process of writing an M050 worksheet, a patent disclosure, into Prime8. Quotient numerator and denominator are usually power series in root(s). In M050, simplify gives me a quotient in integral power of the complex variable, (s). Nothing seems to work in Prime8. This is so basic; it is a nuisance. I must be doing something wrong.

Does anyone know how to turn off the green outline that appears around duplicate variables in Prime 8.0? It even occurs around subsequent members of an array, which are technically not the same variable. Please see the attached screen shot. The green outline didn't exist in Prime 7.0 but suddenly showed up in Prime 8.0. I would like to get rid of it since it doesn't appear very professional in a printout.

Hello do anyone have a work around for the following problem, i am trying to multiply the terms within Tidx by Phi and b, of which i get the correct result (when undefined). when i try to define that to put into another equation it pull through an error.   Sheet attached thank you 

How to unlock/expand sections in the XMCD files if Mathcad 15 is no longer available?

XMCD Converter, Conversion failed. Locked collapsed areas are not supported in the current version of PTC MathCad Prime. How can I unlock or expand these areas before conversion if I don't have MathCad 15?

How do I get the lbf-ft units always when evaluating the equation. I need to enter it manually  always  I am using USCS unit system should I change it?

Hi everyoneIs it possible to install (permanently) E-books (like for example one of my favorites "dynamassist" or "Images") in a directory different from the /Handbook directory, where I have no write rights?I have seen, I can open an E-book wherever I want, but the ones stored in /Handbook remain available also after closing and starting MathCAD again.  Thanks a lot!Best regardsClaudio

Hi guys i am having a error when trying to find a Phi value between two types; essentially if Srtype is "cohesive" for that layer of ground then Phi should be = to 0 deg. Else read from the value from the table for the following increments and so on...... sheet is attached,  thank you and help would be appreciated
