Mathcad

I am running Mathcad 15 student version on an Acer tabletop which was working fine before the computer was upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. When I try to print a hardcopy or convert to adobe format, my computer shows a blue screen message, "Sorry, this program has encountered a problem and needs to restart your computer." Then my computer shuts down and restarts. This happens for any Mathcad work that contains a graph, either x-y plot, vector field plot, surface plot, etc. This is really a bad scenario. For some time I have been unable to open Mathcad 3.1.  I twice requested help via the Academic Case Logger, and once via a customer support address, but I have heard nothing.  I am running Windows 8.1, 64byte.The problem is that all attempts to open 3.1 fail & generate the message: "This application requires ... .NetFramework,Version=v4.0.” Installing 4.0 and its 4.6 “replacement does not remove the message even when all existing copies are deleted.  Also  deleting and reinstalling 3.1 does not work.   Regedit.exe shows "Release REG-DWORD 0x0005c615 (378389 Finally, Prime, Viewable Support & PTC Diagnostic tools. ASP.NET 4.5 is ticked in Programs & Features. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Hi,I always getting this error (picture below). I want to activate my Mathcad 15 but it wont work. My user account won't work the Licence Code is working but then comes the Login and I'm getting this error. What can I do to fix this?

Hallo,when I tried to install Mathcad 11 on a new Computer with Windows 8.1, everything went wrong, no chance. On my old notebook with Windows 7 the program worked correctly.Some days ago i upgraded the notebook from Win7 to Win10. And I had very much luck : mathcad 11 still works.Then I upgraded the computer from Win8.1 to Win10 an tried to install mathcad 11. The installation went complete through, but then allways came the message "incompatible programm". Also some tries with compatible modus from win95 to win7 did not help.I use mathcad 11 from now on on the old notebook. Better then nothing or the unloved Mathcad Prime.The solution with the "MSXML 4.0 SP2 Parser and SDK"  is too risky for me.From Germany, Gerd-Wilhelm

Hi,I am new to MathCAD and am looking for help.  Say I have a formula with two variables (a=b+c).  I want to calculate the value of "a" for 100 values of b.  So, I need 100 answers, one for each value of 'b." I am hoping to get an answer in the form a 100 rows x1 column table for values of "a." I greatly appreciate your help! Thank you.  

Hello,I have a question about how I can get multiple out puts from a single program made up of nested loops.Can I only return a single variable from a program or am I looking at this all wrong. In the attached Mathcad 15 document I have a for loop that defines certain cases. In this example the equality is satisfied for case 5 and case 6 but the loop is returning the last equality that is satisfied and I need to have it start the loop at case 1 and exit the loop after the first equality is satisfied. When printing your Mathcad files to pdfs it seems to save the gridlines as a picture behind the text. This can easily double the size of your files (see annex: pdf with excel-component (also a picture) created with adobe PDF). It is therefore wise to save pdfs with the gridlines deactivated.

I bought a textbook that came with an unused CD of Mathcad 15 M010; never used MathCad but it seemed interesting. Tried installing it on my Windows 10 laptop; it told me I was running Windows XP. Followed directions found here to fix that; it apparently installed correctly and took the product code,, so I assume I have a license. However when I try to launch the program nothing happens. Things I've tried so far:1) run as an administrator2) run in Windows 7 compatibility mode3) uninstall and reinstallThe only thing that has any effect at all is running in administrator mode, which gives me a splash screen that says "Do you want this software from an unknown publisher to make changes on your computer?" but nothing further happens after that. This isn't a desperate situation; I'm not trying to use the software for work or school, but I wouldn't mid it if it would work.

Hi,I am having a slight issue regarding font size in Prime 3.1. Please see the attached screenshot. It seems that when I am using in-line maths in a text region my text size gets muddled up. I have text size set to 10 point, however after placing in-line maths for some reason the text size changes itself to 11 point, meaning that I have to manually go back and adjust all my font sizes You can see in the screenshot that I placed the in-line maths expression gamma_G:=1.50 then the following text 'Reduction factor' is now 11 point.Has anyone else experienced this issue and know a fix? I’m a long term user of Mathcad, and have purchased a number of upgrades.  Recently, I had computer problems and am reinstalling.  My Mathcad 11 upgrade reinstallation was successful, but I could not activate automatically.  I don’t know if the problem occurred because I have an old product or was not connected to the internet at that time.  I could not find an activation link, so could not try again.
