Mathcad

I am having issues with the Include Worksheet command in Mathcad Prime 7.  I have a template with all of our standard materials propeties which I want to point to for our range of standard calculations.  I am finding that it looses the link because of how sharepoint downloads the files to you machine, it creates a personal folder on your C drive. Is there a way to keep the link live rather than it using the cache data no matter what machine its downloaded to?

Hey  I would have a small problem. Is it possible to show the variables and their values ​​in the equations? The red box in the picture below is what I mean. So it was done manually. ("Text Box"). I used MathCad Prime 10. 

Dear community, I turn to you once again hoping that with your generous assistance, we can resolve the following issue. I want to compare two groups of values, M and N, both of which may have variable ranges, denoted by i and j respectively. The resulting group R should have the same range as M and should take the corresponding values from N, in this case, the value of Nj that is less than or equal to Mi. I am using Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0. and I have attempted to configure several programs to achieve this without complete success, but I believe I am unable to set it up with the correct syntax to achieve the desired result. I am attaching an image for clarity, in case it may help. Hello PTC Community, I had calculations in Mathcad prime 10.0 version. When I am trying to open the sheet in prime 9.0, it gives me an error message that the file is not compatible as it is written in the latest version.  I would appreciate if anyone can help me. Thanks,Abdur

        Greetings, I tried to create custom functions in mathcad but I was able to do it, however I wanted to create that function fc and fc1 and I couldn't, I get an error message I understand how to compile and tried other functions but when I go to do it with results of vectors and matrices I have this problem here I attach the code in C only for the fc function, could you help me how to create both custom functions please?    

Lets say I have an integer   If even number then round down to an odd number. If odd then keep the number. eg. x = 888   I want to round this  down to an odd number. 887   Thank you.

Hi, I'm using PTC Mathcad 9.0 version for my documentation. I have included few onedrive & Google Drive links into the doc and saved the doc in PDF format. When try opening the PDF on chrome/adobe reader, i found that the google drive links were opening completely fine whereas Onedrive links were not opening. I was getting errors like "Link not found". The same Onedrive link opens without any issue when opened in Mathcad tool also, when copy pasted it separately on chrome. I can see the issue is only when try opening from PDF. So, anyone else experienced this issue before? Is there any solution to work around? Thanks.

Havin trouble understanding why this function, which worked in Prime 9, no longer works in Prime 10? Unfortunately, it requires an add-in that I doubt many have (Refprop wrapper for Mathcad).Non-working function (Prime 10)It really makes no sense that Refprop would have anything to do with the underlying problem based on the fix (to get the function that worked in Prime 9 to work in Prime 10), which is this:Equivalent Working Program (Prime 10)Obviously, this required a change to a program which literally served to assign a -1 value to alpha prior to the function on line 2. However, nothing of the original equation required modification. Seems odd to me but hoping that someone would have thoughts on what could have changed between 9 and 10 to require this mod. Thanks,Bob Wilson

When using symbolic evaluation in Prime 9, from time to time one of two different errors pop up sporadically. Either a window indicating that AXIOMsys.exe isn't working anymore, or a window indicating that "bad_module_info" is not working anymore. Nonetheless symbolic evaluations in Prime still work OK, its just annoying and irritating to have to click away those windows from time to time. Often the same error also pops up immediately after closing Prime. I am aware that its not a Prime error but stems from Windows - nonetheless is only occurs when using Prime 9.   Anybody has experienced something similar or has an idea what the cause may be?        

Is it possible to convert mcdx (prime files) to xmcd (mathcad 15)? If yes, how to do it?

I'm doing a presentation of mathcad to me company and I'm thinking of including the pros and cons of it comparing to other calculating programs. Any ideas ?

I have tried installing Mathcad and have agreed to user agreements.Upon getting to "Application Selection" step in install process, my installation path is C:->Program Files->PTC but there are no applications to "Choose from the list below".I cannot push next to complete the installation process.

Hi All, why mathcad prime dont allow to input the results of a fuction with a range of input into the excel component. What is the way to go around this?  

I am sorting a result matrix with respect to 5th column.If A is more than Asreq, i want to get only positive values of 5th column in a sorted way as an output.If A is less than Asreq, the output matrix should contain only negative values in 5th column and they should be sorted in reverse order. Is this possible in Mathcad?

I am unable to get the results when used ° instead of deg could someone let me know what I am doing wrong?

Hello! when I tried to solve b value from sin(b) it says no solution because b is undefined. If I use 'Solve block' and assume a value (b=1 deg) then the result will be same as my assumption. Could anyone please give a hint?    

 

I wish to read a CSV file and embed the data into Mathcad.   Files attached   .

We currently have some older .mcd MathCAD files.Our trial version will not open them.Is there a tool or product you have that could convert or update these to something we can use in the new software version? We are trying to find a way to gain access to these old files.Thanks,Jon
