Good afternoon   I was trying to re-install Mathcad 15 (purchased 2012?) ... when I purchased new computer approx 5 years ago...I didn't have much success re-installing using "downloaded Setup  (mathcad_15_0_EN_M010_Setup.exe file....so I just used my  Mathcad 14 disc version.   Currently ... I have another computer and ...instead of  deleting install program "stuff" ... I thought I would try once more.   my product code is:    MP010201EA6466-743K-3FKX    On PTC.Setup - Mathcad 15.0 (M010) setup screen ,... I get to screen that says "select Product to be installed"  with options to select "Mathcad" or "PTC Liscense server"    When I select "Mathcad"  i get error message :  You are running Windows XP, but do not have Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher installed ...etc... this is a minimum system requirement for Mathcad15.0 M010 please upgrade your system.   I am running windows 10   

Hi When I do double logarithmic plotting (and maybe also single) the trace sometimes disappears when a scale the axis. Very frustrating!!Thomas

Hello, sorry, I have to ask some beginner questions:1. I want to use the f'(x) notation but it seems that this is not possible. Mathcad is unhappy "variable not defined" about the f'. The function f(x) as such is defined. Is there a trick? 2. I want do document some functions without defining variables. For example "slope = (f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)". Once more Mathcad wants to force me to define b and a. But that doesn't make sense in my case since I just want to document the concept and not do an actual calculation. I use a text box with a inside calculation box to get the mathematical notifications. I feel deeply sorry that I have to bother you with probably very simple questions. 🙂  Kind Regards 

I cannot figure out a way to solve equations in Mathcad 9.0.0.0. I have tried going through multiple tutorials text and video for hours and unfortunately cannot for the life of me figure out how to type it into mathcad. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm trying to get a set of data in a form where I can copy and paste it into a another application. It is two columns of data. The first is a range variable. The second is a calculation on the range variable.I've tried to get the two columns of data into an embedded Excel Component but just can't see how to do it. Getting confused between ranges versus vectors/matrices.Is there a way of converting the range variable into a vector?Any help would be much appreciated.  I thought if you can see the indices, it is a vector/matrix? Dave

Hello all. I am not new to Mathcad but am new to matrices and evaluations. What i am trying to figure out is how to tell Mathcad Prime 9.0 to automatically select incrementing rows from a previous matrix for use in an formula. Please see the attached screenshot from a manual. I can define the E matrix without issue, but am lost after that. I have tried setting n = 0 and ORIGIN = 0, but that doesnt do what I need.   

This isn't urgent, I'm just curious here, but in the attached Prime 8.0 file I'm plotting an offset circle in steps from 0° to 360°.  When I reduce the resolution by going to 10° steps I get the interesting figure on the right.  Why is that happening?

I want to plot a smooth line (like in Excel) and found out I can use a sort of an f(x)=interp(lspline(x1,y),x1,y,x) function, but it's not plotting properly (does not cover the  range of the values of x1 vector and goes outside the range on the left side of the graph). Although it plots alright with the x2 values. See attached Mathcad file.Why is it so and how can I plot a smooth line for x1 values? 

Hey guys, Im new to mathcad and after searching for a while, I still didnt find the solution. I just want to solve after 4 unkowns (c1, c2, c3, c4). I have 4 equations and 4 boundary conditions, but there is a problem of the definition of my unknown variables and my functions. Can anyone help me? HiI would like to have equal scales in x and y -axis of a 2D Chart component.In old Mathcad 15, there was a built in  "Equal scale" option.Is there something similar in Prime 9? I'm testing Mathcad Prime 9 for this.I saw online that previous edition of Mathcad could do this, but I am unable to find the functionality in Mathcad Prime. Could you guide me to the speicifc process that I can use to achieve this. In summary, I have data points scattered in 3d space, with each data point having x, y, z coordinates. I want Mathcad to draw contours in 2D (axes representing x and y, with contours drawn between z values). I am pretty new to this segment and it would be much appreciated if someone can share some demo parts in Creo Parametric which can be droved by mathcad prime 8 along withn how to do it.

I have attached three files.  FFT1, FFT4, and FFT5.  I'm trying to learn how to do a fast fourier transform.  I begin with a 1 microsecond sampling rate, which provide a max. nyquist frequency of 500 kHz.  I multiply the number of points in FFT4 by a factor of 10, so the sampling rate becomes 0.1 microsecond, which provides a max Nyquist frequency of 5 MegaHz.  Then I again multiply the sampling frequency by 10 and produce a sampling rate of 0.01 microseconds and a Nyquist frequency of 50.  Can anyone take a look and confirm this theory?  How do I reproduce a segment of the output FFT?  I want to reproduce the segment above n=50 MHz in the final spreadsheet.  How do I reproduce the segment beginning with n=0 and ending with n=50 in the FFT5 spreadsheet.I want to reproduce the original waveform as well..Any assistance understanding this software would be welcome.I also need to know what dft is doing relative to FFT.  I know it
