Hello everyone.Who wants to practice file references, study the attached files. These are simple functions, more or less useful. I hope there are no difficulties, otherwise let me know. To understand how it is structured, see attached diagramGreetings.
I have successfully optimized a function (Rosenbrock) under the constraints -5<=x<=5 and -5<=y<=5 but I want to see the values that each iteration produced and how they change in response to my initial guess value. I cannot figure out how to get the trace command to output all the iteration values, it only shows the final solution. I backtracked to MathCAD 15 to have access to the debug window but if anyone can help me in MathCAD 15 it would be very much appreciated. Or if anyone knows how to display iterations in a solve block for constrained multivariable optimization in MathCAD Prime 5 that would also help and I've attached that version also. Thanks
對不起,先生 我的Windows已更新為10,但我的mathcad 15已損壞。 你能告訴我如何修好我的Mathcad嗎?
Hello, Hope everybody is well and safe. It is easy to swap min and max values on x-axis in a plot in MathCad 15. However, I could not do this in Prime. (It can be done in "Chart Component" but not when utilizing "Plots" Tab). The file is attached. Thanks for help and time. Anousheh
Dear allCould you find the error of unit in equation why i can not find solution? attachment Pic&file belowThank you
Question 1 -For solving nonlinear equations I use AdamsBDF solver. However, varying the number of discretization intervals (controlled by the variable "intvls") results in solutions quite different from one another. How can one determine the optimum number of intvls. I tried it by plotting the solutions by increasing the number of intervals till the two successive solution produce the same result. Is there any other way to find the optimum number of intervals? Question 2 - In oscillation problems, I am interested in knowing only the time required for a pendulum to reaach equilibrium (theta =0). I do not want to get the entire solution but am interested only up to when the soultion reaches zero the first time. This is when the initial value of angle theta from vertical axis is given and I wish to find when it reaches zero the first time. How do I do this?Any help is appreciated.
Hello Everyone, I have some experimental points, and I need to fit this with a equation. But the dependence of variables is related wtih a second equation. The problem is explained in the attached file. Can somebody help me? Thanks
Hello, I can plot graph involving "Gamma" function in MathCad 15, but in Prime, either nothing happens or it gives error message saying that "This must be a real number". Help will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Anousheh PS: Plot of N1(alpha) against alpha (I have defined alpha as a variable)
Hi, I am at my first steps with Mathcad, could someone help me to plot the bode diagram of the function G(f) pease Where and Thanks ML
Dear allhow can we solve the solution of Nonhomogeneous ODEs below in Mathcad prime? Thank you
I have to revisit some "old" mcad 15 as I lost some of them. I am setting up a Convolution calculation for a given input (half sine) to extract the max response for a given range of frequencies. However what I am getting out does not appear to be correct. Can anyone wit the expertise have a look and point me toward what is wrong?
Help, what am I doing wrong here. Mathcad 15 file and pdf attached. Thanks much Reg
There are operators with two mathematical meanings. One (|D|) is here Absolute values The second is Do you know more? I know seven one!
Hi! I have created a workset that requires a vairable to be raised to the power of 1/3 (one third). The variable already has the unit MPa, but the unit of the result is a bit messy as seen below. Can i change that back to MPa by any chance? Screenshot below. I am using Mathcad 15.0 (M050 [MC15_M050_20171129]) Thanks in advance.
Hi everyone. I am doing a simple calculation, but I have problems in the temperature units, which generates erroneous results. A quick solution in this case would be to work the temperature without units. However, is there a way to work with units in this type of equations without getting wrong results? Thanks for the help
Hello, I am using Mathcad 2001. I have a file that I need to use but it is in xmcd format and I could not open it. Is there a way to transform into mcd format or something suitable for Mathcad 2001 Could you please advise me how to transform? Kind Regards

I have seen in some code examples, that people use .pwf as model file saving format. But in PyTorch documentation .pt and .pth are recommended. I used .pwf and worked fine for a small 1->16->16 convolutional network. My question is what is the difference between these formats? Why is .pwf extension not even recommended in PyTorch documentation and why do people still use it?
I have only one Mathcad-sheet with ORIGIN not equal 0 or 1 in my last Mathcad-book 2^5 Problems for STEM Education Can you say why? Do you have one Mathcad-sheet with ORIGIN not 0 or 1?
Hi! I am trying to complete an assignment however I have difficulties translating a Mathcad code from the book to the worksheet, I have never used Mathcad before so it would be great if someone can show where I am going wrong or even better if someone can translate it onto a Mathcad file for me! I do require this quite soon so any help with be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!
I can't remember hence the silly question. If one has a continuous function (in my case of time) and one wants to only return the max (absolute) value of the function (range 0..tend), does one needs to discretize the function? a example y(t):t^2 wit t = 0..5 max(y(t)) does not return 25
Hello to All Prime Expert I am having another MatchCAD Prime issues. Plotting simple equation in MatchCAD 15 worked. After transfer to Prime the graph - Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN by real numbers. I can't see any issues here. Please help.
Hi, how do I write this for loop in MathCad? My fb is (similar to the first line of code) **Side note: I need to evaluate these values as rc goes from 2-60.
Buenos dias! Cree un archivo creado en Mathcad Prime 6.0 y lo que estoy intentando abrir y aparece el siguiente error. A continuación adjunto el archivo de registro que no se que hacer con el. ¿Cómo podría recuperar ese archivo dañado? Gracias! Espero que me puedan ayudar.
Noticing in Prime Express that evaluating a function name yields a string, ... I was wondering if anybody knows of a way to save that string to a variable? (This is something that I asked for since about Mathcad 11 - it would have been quite handy to have when, say, evaluating a list of functions or identifying a function that's stored as an array element)
