I need help in creating a piecewise function for  the black function so that it starts at  the red point and ends on   on black and i want to create a loop for the black function to do this every 2*pi/N degrees please help.   Thanks

Is it possible to use function definitions and/or graphs to drive datum curves from equation in Creo Parameteric 4.0+?   Conceptually I would like to use graphs (functions) to define a curve from equation inside Creo. In Mathcad the function and domain would be defined and the results passed to Creo to drive a curve from equation. It would be nice to switch domains (i.e. time to frequency for example) or to shift between cartesian and polar reference systems in Mathcad and then pass the function values over to Creo.

Good afternoon,   I'm a student and trying to download MathCAD express, as I need it for a class. I've filled out the form at least 3 times, tried different email addresses, resubmitted it with the same email addresses... emailed support..   Still do not have a download link. No one will answer my emails. I'm using it through a virtual machine at the moment that the school provides, but that's absurdly slow. Can anyone help me out?

I have a Mathcad 15 Worksheet which uses big matricies, and many "if" statements. Now that I am trying to edit some of the matricies I had created, I am getting an "Out of Memory" error when I try to save the file. Is there a way or update that will allow for more memory? I know my computer is not the issue because I have a lot of space on my computer. I am using Mathcad 15.0

Hello PTC Community, I have been working on PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0.0 for a while now. Recently, I noticed that when dealing with larger files (around 40-41 pages), mathcad prime was lagging. Now, that I tried to open a 102-pages file on mathcad prime 5.0.0., it started lagging terribly. I was unable to edit / modify the file because of serious lags. After 5-10 seconds, the program became non-responsive. Is there any fix for this?

I have embedded excel table with data and I export them to matrix of  variables (vectors) and I don't know how to open an editing window to assign rows/collumns of table to these vectors? I also had this issue in the past. It sometimes appeared and I right clicked the table and I have chosen properties option. But now I can not get it. I hope someone faced the same situation and knows solution. Thanks in advance for any help.

When I read some data from a file or when I create a a matrix or a vector on more that 10 rows, whatever the calculation I do on this table, Mathcad cannot return the values : I cannot see the results for any table having more than 10 rows. Does anybody has this problem?

I recently purchased Mathcad 5.0 for students.  It downloaded fine.  However, it did not put an icon on my home screen or the start menu. When I checked in the program folders, PTC>Mathcad Prime 5.0.0.0>bin>pim>xml is all I get.  The xml is just text.  Within Program Files (x86), it loaded PTC>Mathcad PDSi and nothing else.   Any idea what's wrong?

Hello everyone,  I have had this problem for a long time: when I open a worksheet, made with a PC with a resolution of 1900x1080, with another pc with a video resolution of 1600 x 900, the layout is completely messed up. Is it possible, instead, an automatic adjustment of the page when passing the file from one pc to another? In the image what actually happens.

I am changing computers and I cannot find my installation files for Mathcad Prime 4.0.  They used to be easy to find but the website is so user unfriendly I cannot locate anything

Hello everyone,   a few days ago I experienced a really annoying bug.   You will find a mathcad file attached, where my problem is described. I try in Mathcad to build  Gauss-Jordan method for obtaining the inverse matrix but it looks quite difficult. It is closed to Jordan elimination method, but on the right side we consider initially (in the augmented matrix) an unit matrix. Did anyone build this method in Mathcad?

My PC is failing.  Can I use the same exe install file for Mathcad 15 to install on an iMac?

Hello;   I am having an issue with not running a co-simulation between MathCAD15 (network license pool) and ANSYS Simplorer circuit program, in which the simulation hangs up after starting it. I have tried this on three different PC platforms with the same results. After installing a trial version of MC15 (local machine), the co-simulation works fine, I am assuming its an issue with the pinging the MC license over the networking.   Has anyone else resolved a similar type of issue?   Does PTC still sell a node-lock license for MC15?   Thanks,   Jon

Ladies and gents, We use MathCAD 15 in our office and we have an excel component in a mathcad sheet that works fine for some people but when some users open the sheet they get the following message - 'Warning: an unrecoverable read error has occurred. 1 regions could not be read from this document.' the excel component is then deleted. There are only 24 inputs (that have 8 values within them) to the excel component, so its not even that large. We are all operating on the latest MathCAD 15 release for windows 10. Any ideas?  

Hi,          I am trying to determine the resuspension rate, Λi (t) , in the i th layer for a multi layer resuspension model. One needs to determine the number of exposed particles , ni (ra',t), in the ith layer to determine the resuspension rate. I am kind of stuck here. I would greatly appreciate the help. I have a problem with Mathcad 15 on Windows 10. Whenever the computer is restarted I am forced to re-enter the student license. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to dig up my license and go through the licensing process every time my computer reboots?

I apologize in advance for asking this because I know I have asked it before but I couldn't find the post where I did it. I had to re-install MathCad 14 and now print preview crashes. There was an update that solved this. Could someone point me to it?   (When I tried to get a list of my posts, I only get one from 2007 and this also appears as my latest post - so maybe someone can give me some advice on this, too.)

I have a repeating problem in the new release of Mathcad 15, namely the M050 release.   I frequently use reference sheets.  If I make a change in the reference sheet from the main sheet, close the reference sheet by saving it, it does indeed change the reference sheet in its location.  However, the main code frequently does not recognize the change.  If I simply close the main code and reopen it runs correctly with the change I made before closing. I frequently experience a similar problem when just making any variable or formula change to a sheet and rerunning the sheet.  It doesn't recognize the change.  Again, if I close the sheet and reopen, it runs correctly.  Also, if I make the changes at another location in the sheet and paste it into the place where I wanted the change, the sheet runs correctly. Frequently, it does not recognize changes to a vector or matrix index [j until I close the sheet and reopen and then run. I did not have these prob

So now i've encountered a problem.. I want to use explicit on a formula, the error appears, saying that ' this varaiable in endefined'. I ve checked twice and it IS DEFINED. Look at my worksheet. Due this reason I'm not able to obtain the result...
