Mathcad

I am new to programming in MathCad but have done plenty of while loops in other programs. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here. Please help. I know the while loop converges because I can do it by hand in a few iterations.Thank you for anyone who has a few minutes to take a look.

Hellow,I have made a mathcad file, whereas it is possible to calculate the basic properties of every figure, this is great for quick determination for difficult shaped beams.Starting with,X and Y coordinates as a table,  -> and then draw the figure -> calculate all possible properties (Area, moment of inertia, center of grafity etc)See underneath for Area.The calculation has been checked for many options and it works fine.But, i still think there is a more easy option for this problem.Question is;Is there a possibility to do this same calculation via intergration? if so how?

I have an old (10+ years) worksheet in which I solved an apparently stiff ode using Bulstoer (without using the Jacobian). Having a reason to resuscitate the worksheet I tried rewriting it using Odesolve, which worked for loading but not for unloading (look at worksheet to see what this means). Trying the different solvers in Odesolve did not help. Can someone give me some insight into what is going on? Maybe I was just smarter 10+ years ago, but I do not think I would have hit upon using Bulstoer if I had to do it over again.

I have created a worksheet for minimization with 9 variational parameter. The running time of the calculation is seems to more than 16 hours. Is it  possible to reduce the  calculation time. I  have attached the worksheet.

I'm trying to make a function that can sort through a matrix/range and turn very high or very low values into maximum values and leave all middle values as zero. However mathcad seems to just set everything as zero despite earlier inequalities being true, is there any way to sort this?Example doc attached

I have a rather large formula that I'm trying to show with an explicit function, as it is too big I cannot do this all on one line. Is there a way to have:x= big big functionx= big big function explicit,ALL (hide left-hand side, hide key words)x= answerwithout the explicit function leaving a big space for the hidden formula?example doc attached

Hi!I just started using Mathcad Express Prime 3.0 and I can't understand what's happening to the units that I enter. For example, if I enter a variable d=370 km, it transforms in d=0.37 1/m^3 * km. I am sure this in some built-in setting that is supposed to help me, but right now it's really problematic for me. Could someone explain to me what I should do to change this?Thank you!Iulia

I am having a set of data that I have plottet in to a X-Y plot. But I would like to know the equation of these data, so that I can calculate the point where they are crossing each other. I have tried searching around both in this forum and other sites, but I have not been able to find a solution. I have attached both a jpg file and a mathcad file.

Now my problem is that i need to do it for many loadcases.I have given vectors for the variables in the equation and a given vector for the beginning search variable.How can i do it in mathcad so that mathcad is solving the equation for every row of the vectors.I have an given example in the mathcad file.I have problems here how to define the code 😞Best thx

I am using Odesolve to solve a set of equations. It works fine, but I want to make the solution depend on a parameter. I cant seem to get the syntax right. Or maybe something else is wrong. What am I doing wrong?

Greetings,I had created a test document to practice the CreateMesh and CreateSpace functions.This was done on one machine with Mathcad 15.Now, the CreateSpace will not  display on a different machine which also has Mathcad 15 and Prime 3.1.Any ideas as to why?If nothing is wrong with the set-up, what settings could make this behavior happen?The file is attached.Thank you for your time.P. Equations are as follows:The mathod as follows can only get a arithmetic solution rather than a  symbolic solution which is i want.How to get relationships like these in the mathcad ? Whether mathcad can do so cool things or not ?

I have already produced an acceptable finite differences approach in Mathcad, but it should in principle be a lot more laborious than using the PDESOLVE block successfully for the two equations (temperature and concentration). I have used Pdesolve just fine for single PDEs in the past.
