While I try to get the 30 days try license for MathCAD Prime 3.0, I get the following information after input my account information and press OK. (Account is correct).Do anybody know what the problem is?I think it should be some safety problem of the internet of my company.As the time when I try to use another try version SW, e.g. IAR., I can not access the server.Is there any other way to active my MathCAD? like offline way to get the license.Thank you in advanced!

In mathCAD it was possible to create 3D scatter Graphs, I have looked at the Help files in Prime 3.0 and it would suggest it is possible, but i cannot see how its done?Thanks

My friend just bought, on some website, a copy of the "full version" of Mathcad15.After he installs it, he runs some MC1 registration .exe file. The result is that he can run the software perfectly. But when you click on help/about, it shows the version number and everything, and has a name in the "licened to" field, but has a completely blank "product code" field. So, this is some cracked/hacked version I assume? It seems that it should be able to be installed on any machine as often as one would like? No, I will not give any more info on how to get the software. Even though I am not happy with what PTC has done with MC, I am not going to facilitate the stealing of intellectual property. I am just curious if my interpretation of this is correct. Thanks.

I've got a worksheet with an issue I don't understand. I have defined a set of sample indices using "i:=0..Nx-1" then build a spreadsheet using vectors with those indices. I wanted to see the array values when Nx=4 so I set the value and all was ok. When I go to remove the detail ... the [0,1,2,3] display that is ... the rest of the worksheet fails with a message "The value must be a scalar or a matrix". I know I'm being a bit vague but I don't really know how to better explain it so I have attached both good and bad versions of the file.Any help would be appreciatedThanks,Paul

Hi,I have two different files in which I have the same function defined. For this function, I want to perform a "minimize" in order to find out its minimum across a certina interval of the variables that make up the function. I would have expected the guess values to have no effect on the rezult of the minimize, but apparently they do have (I get different results from applying "minimize" depending on the guess values I write. Does anybody know whty this happens? Below you may find a screenshot of the two different mathcad files, side by side. I have also attached the files themselves.Thank you and best regards,Cristian

When I create an Analysis from the Analysis tab in Creo Parametric (no "Behavioral Modeler"), the only "type" option available is Prime Analysis. From the Prime Analysis dialogue, I can initiate or load a MathCAD Express Prime 3.0 file. I gather from my reading that in order to pass data between MathCAD and Creo, I need to assign a region tag to the math region in MathCAD. I have read that this is done by right-clicking on the region to bring up the Properties dialogue where the tag can be assigned. Unfortunately, when I right click on a math region in MathCAD Express, there is either no response or just a simple cut/copy/delete menu with no properties item. I can find no alternative for properties or region tags in MathCAD Express Prime. Am I correct in concluding that I'm up the creek without a paddle, or have I overlooked something?

Hi all, I need to divide different imported 2D shapes/curves into triangles having (almost) equal sides. I am sorry, because I guess that my question is either very trivial (and I missed it), or without positive answer.I need to change in a Mathcad (v.11 still, but I tried also with v.15) a matrix dimension from 3 to 2. I have several equations, with "identity(3)" function, that needs to be corrected accordingly. I thought that the replace command would suffice to make a global change. Yet there is no way that Mathcad finds (both regions selected) the terms "identity(3)" in my worksheet, even if they are there. The culprit seems the bracket character. Is there a way to make the find/replace command work? Thanks.

Hello guys!I purchased a Matchad 15 student version and I just bought a new laptop to run analyses in parallel. I would need to use Matchad on either laptop at different time, i.e. Matchad would run on one machine only per session. The two laptops are on the same network and connected to internet through a single router. Is there any quick way to move the license from one machine to the other any time I want? Hi all,I am working on expanding the functionality of an old program to be able to perform an vector of cases for an already established vector. I have worked out all of the issues within the program to calculate each reasulting array/matrix. Now I want to compare results across the matrices using the max function. Previously I had used the augment function to combine vectors, but that isn't keeping the m,n combinations needed to be compared across the matrices at each m,n. Basically, I have x number of 11 x 7 matrices that I want the maximum value for each m,n combination reported in a resulting 11 x 7 matrix. I have inserted the image below the shows what I have described above. I want the maximum value for each m,n in this matrix for the X number of nested matrices. This example just shows 2 matrices are nested.I would greatly appreciate the help of the community. Hi!I recently just re-installed Mathcad 15 (student version/license) on my Windows 8.1 machine. Every time I start Mathcad 15 I get the dialog saying something to the effect that a license could not be found. So I go through the process every time of choosing to reaquire my licensce via internet from PTC...Does anyone know of a fix for this aggravating issue?Thanks,Pat

As part of a Mathcad sheet, I wish to include a short section on the derivation of an equation. This involves a definite integral.I can write the initial integral with limits, and can write the ultimate result of the integral. However, as a lot of the terms cancel out or evaluate to zero when the limits are applied, I would like to be able to state the symbolic result of the integration, but without the limits substituted in, as is usually denoted by square brackets with the sub and superscripts following for the limits. Is there a way to display this type of format in Mathcad? I can neither work out a way to force the square brackets to be displayed, nor add the required sub and superscripts.Thanks

Hello, from an appendix of a book publication I got some mcd files (year: 2004). Unfortunately, MathCad Prime 3.0 cannot open the files ("unknown format").How can I open those mcd files with MathCad prime 3? Is there a converter available ?ThanksKlaus
