Hello, everyone. I am trying to install a floating license server and it worked. However when performing some tests with my colleagues I realized that after I borrowed the license, I was not able to return back for another colleague to pick.I received the following error msg: "Unable to return the license. Verify that the current license settings are correct.". I found nothing about such error on the online documentation.Did someone experienced the same issue? Thanks in advance for the feedback. GF
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.0.0Dear all, good afternoon from Brazil. I hope you are well. Since our Mathcad´s Brazil support team did not solve our issue, which is a big problem for us, we are contacting PTC directly. We have 7 Mathcad M15 M045 licenses (one of which is a network license) acquired by General Electric in recent years. In the last few weeks, we bought one more standalone license, but it is for PTC Mathcad Prime 6, because it is no longer possible to buy an M15 license. Our problem is that the Prime version does not directly open the M15 files of our current version. To do this, we were instructed to do a conversion from the old format of the file to the new format. But here is the problem: after this conversion, a lot of information, formatting and macros are lost from our worksheets and the calculation is not done directly without first solving some problems. So that you understand the seriousness of this problem: we have more than 200 folders,
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0When using the new Advanced Controls features, performance suffers greatly. This would be expected if I were loading in large amounts of data or perhaps performing complex processing with these regions, but all I'm doing right now is using text boxes to display results with color coding or select which version of text to display from a known list. Literally just display boxes, and yet performance suffers greatly. It was never this bad using essentially the exact same files before adding the advanced controls. M, colleague has even worse issues, where the advanced controls grey-out as if they're still processing, or unable to finish processing, and is unable to get them to cooperate again. Is there some performance issues with the advanced controls? Is there some trick we can use to reduce the performance demands?Has anyone else experienced something like this?-Sean
Today, when I tried to open mathcad, nothing happens, not even the splash screen shows up. When I open task manager, I can see that the mathcad process starts for a few seconds and then it's gone. Already tried searching the community for similar cases but I didn't find anything that works. Please help me! I'm just getting in love with the productivity enhancement I get from mathcad! Further info: no error messages appear, doesn't work when I try to run as admin, or when I restart my pc

I have tried installing Mathcad and have agreed to user agreements.Upon getting to "Application Selection" step in install process, my installation path is C:->Program Files->PTC but there are no applications to "Choose from the list below".I cannot push next to complete the installation process.
We currently have some older .mcd MathCAD files. Our trial version will not open them.Is there a tool or product you have that could convert or update these to something we can use in the new software version? We are trying to find a way to gain access to these old files. Thanks,Jon
Hello,I'm running into an issue where my Mathcad 9 license returns an 'Invalid Host' error on a specific network. It just so happens to be my university's WiFi, which is problematic because I need to use Mathcad on my laptop at my university. Strangely enough, the license works whenever I'm not on the university's WiFi. I've attempted the following:ipconfig/allnet config rdrenabling/disabling my internet card through Device Managercompletely reinstalling Mathcad 9re-requesting my license and downloading it on the university's WiFirunning a VPNverifying that the HostID is the same on both the license and laptop.None of these methods were successful. My other colleagues do not have this problem. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I get a 403 Forbidden error when trying to retrieve a license file over the internet.
I'm installing a single user, windows, MathCad 14.0 from the CD Disk with Date Code: M020. Since this was an upgrade from a previous version, the installation is asking for the "old serial number," which I don't have. I contacted PTC customer support, and they kindly generated and sent me a License Pack file. Where and how to use this file?
Is it possible to obtain the installer and license file on a PC that can connect to the Internet, store them on a storage medium such as a DVD, and then move them to an offline PC (a PC that cannot connect to the Internet) and install them there? If there is a way to prepare something on a PC that can connect to the Internet and install it on another offline PC, please let me know the details.(Are there any functional restrictions in that case?) - By community moderation team.-----------------------------------------------

I want to install Mathcad 15.0 free trial to be able to work on XMCD file extensions but can't find the download link. I have PTC Mathcad Prime, but it can not work on these files.
*I thought this was a customer service ticket, thanks for any help the community can provide*Attempting to install Matchad Prime1.0 on new computer after previous one stopped working. I currently am logging in under trial but it should be a full version (my understanding). I have entered the product code listed for this Open Ticket, and during the installation I provide my username and password for this PTC account. When I try to proceed the installation from this step I get the error 'The remote server returned and error: (403) Forbidden'. I'm just curious what this error code means, how to rectify, and if this is something we can fix with the product code I have been provided. This was also initially purchased and installed some time ago so I am curious if there is an issue with things being out of date. Thank you.
i NEED TO DOWNKOAD AND INSTALL THE PROGRAM IN A NEW COMPUTER AS THE OLD INSTALLATION IS OUT OF WORK. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS. THANKS.

Installation issue: file installs self cancel and return a failure message. My PC is an Intel x15 with ample storage space for the application.

I need to install my (very old) Mathcad v14 onto a new PC. I need a license file for it. The "Mathcad License Setup" wizard fails to retrieve a license over the internet. How can I get a license for this old product?
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0We have three older Mathcad files that Mathcad 9 is not able to convert for some reason. We receive the message "Conversion failed. Unexpected error encountered during conversion." We are then provided with incomprehensible text files describing the issue. Can someone try converting our files for us?
I have downloaded a trial edition of MathCAD prime 10. However it has defaulted to an express account and cannot use the prime features during the period. How is this resolved?
I'm hoping someone might have a quick workaround. Some years ago we purchased 25 permanent academic student licenses of MathCad 15 from PTC. I understand that PTC no longer supports MathCad 15 and I've read the FAQs related to the changes. While the FAQs warn against the risks of continuing to use these licenses, it does say that permanent licenses will still work. Unfortunately when I now try to verify the Product Code through the MathCad License Setup Wizard and use the usual "acquire a license via the Internet" and then enter the Student educational Product Code along with my account login, an "Unexpected Error" window pops up pointing out that "The trial program software you are requesting is no longer available." It then points me to the website to purchase the latest version. The PTC licensing management team is aware of the issue and suggests that they are looking into recreating a permanent tool that will allow those of us with Product C
I am in the IT dept of my company and we use Mathcad Prime 9. I have a user who wants to know if it is possible to convert MathCAD 2000 files to a Prime 9 compatible format. I am not seeing much online about this so my expectations are low, but if it is possible please let me know.
