Can't activate mathcad trial version with the sent licence.

Computer Failed to Start. Geek Squad got computer working again, but lost my copy of MathCad

Error “The remote server returned an unexpected response: (407) Proxy Authentication Required” while installing 30 days trial version Mathcad.     Causes: This error can be because of multiple reasons like - Internet connection, Security firewall or any other means that would block the connection or obstruct authentication. With the help of local IT administrator, user can turn off the security for the time being and try to connect again after reducing the security level   Resolution: Contact PTC Customer License Management and request for a new license file.  

Error: Mathcad Trial Edition Entitled for Installation Support "The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseHeader Detail=CR must be followed by LF".   Causes: Confirm if the installer is for trial version of Mathcad   Resolution: Clear the cookies and Browser caches and then click on the link provided below The link to download trial is here      

Error "Mathcad application has stopped working" when launching Mathcad Prime x64-Bit version on specific Windows x64-Bit machines   Causes Identified:   This issue is machine specific, where-in 64-bit Mathcad application is unable to run   Resolution: Uninstall Mathcad Prime x64-Bit version Install Mathcad Prime x32-Bit version - Launch Setup for Mathcad Prime Select Install or add new software and select Next Accept the license agreement and select Next Select the Customize tab on the Application selection page Select the Application Features tab. Under Platforms, select Windows x32 bit. Select Ok Now select Install to complete the installation of the product Select Finish to exit the setup    

Error : "There was no endpoint listening at https://apps.ptc.com/accountServices/ PtcAccountService that could accept the message. This is often caused by incorrect address or SOAP action" in Mathcad Prime    Resolution: Lower the security settings (Firewall, Antivirus) Contact PTC License Management team User can try to reset the password - Here 

Error "PTC Installation Assistant has stopped working" when running setup.exe for Mathcad Prime" (Applicable only for SUA Edition)  Cause: Microsoft for .Net Framework is missing or is not installed correctly Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 is not installed correctly Resolution:   Run PrimeWixinstaller_64bit.msi from the ptcsh0 folder of installer   Run the fix provided by Microsoft for .Net Framework 4.5.1 Try to uninstall and re-install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package: 32 bit 64 bit

Error message "Mathcad PDSi viewable support: Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed." is displayed during the installation of Mathcad     Cause: System has advance PDF reader already installed   Resolution: Mathcad PDSi viewable support is only required for integration of Mathcad with Windchill. Users can ignore this message and continue with installation as it has no impact on Mathcad functionality. Corrected in Mathcad Prime 6.0 (UI installation) If newer version of Adobe Product is installed, PDSi viewable installation will not be attempted

Mathcad Prime installation needs Microsoft.NET 4.6.2 or a later version of .NET that Microsoft certifies is a replacement for 4.6.2So, Mathcad installer ensures that such a version is installed and if not present on the machine, it initiates the .NET framework installation. User cannot skip the .NET installation and proceed with Mathcad Prime installation. I've been using PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0 (student edition) for several months, and my computer crashed, so I need to re-download the software. (My license last for a few more months) I was able to look up my original order on the PTC Store website, but the link to download the software was not working. Is there another way to install the software?

I have stumbled upon a problem, when i tried to install Mathcad on my Windows 10 at Aarhus University. The error is labeled 1920, but i can’t find any solutions on the net, so i hope making this post help me solving this problem. It has something to do with the printspoiler i think. (I have attach a file, which is the text that pops up when MathCad nearly is installed). Hope someone can help fixing this:) Kind regards Vilhelm

I downloaded Mathcad prime 5.0 via the link provided after purchase. When I doubleclick setup.exe (after unpacking), I got prompt "Do you want to allow changes to your disc?", I press "Yes" and the window closes and nothing happens. I have Win 10 and MS framework installed. Any advice?

The flow of issue:   1. Received an email for the Mathcad Express trial   2. Clicked on download PTC Mathcad Express prompt, takes me to a new window   3. Selected install software button and opens a tab for a moment and closes with NO installation   I have a 64-bit operating system with windows 10.  Is there a bug in the installer?
