I am using Creo Schematics Release N/A and DatecodeN/AUsing Creo Schematics 9.0 and Creo Parametric 9.0Is there an electrical component library available to download from PTC for use with Creo Schematics 9.0 and Creo Parametric/Cabling 9.0?

Are Shrink wrap skeleton surfaces NOT viewable in Creo View Lite? Is it better to use Stp, iges, etc.instead?I'm trying to route some piping/wiring on a unit. But NOT having to load the whole unit. Because it seems to slow down my computer. I'm trying to share this with my colleagues via Creo viewer Lite.Is there an alternative?

Hello everyone,i'm trying to take a measure in Creoview but is impossible to select the edges.The selcection is possible only onsurfaces but i have need to take a measure from center to center(image 1).The file output is a pvz generated from Creo illustrate or native solidworks (0457033.zip).Is there any set to do this? PS: I'm using Creo view MCAD ty,Matteo

Hi,I want to replace the part in a tree structure but I want the sequence animation to be preserved.All applied animations seem to be gone if you replace the part with the same name in a tree.Please let me know how to keep animations so I don't need to reanimate them.

I have multiple 3D figures that I want to save as a single PDF.   How do I do this?    

I've created many figures.  On each, I organize the parts and annotations  in the view; setup page for letter/landscape and  I "Use current view"   than I save the file.   When I activate the figure again, sometimes the page setup is lost and the parts/annotations have shifted.  If I "go to figure view" parts/ annotation return to how I originally set them up but the letter/landscape page setup is gone.   Has any  one else seen this behavior?  

Hi I have two questions regarding Creo Illustrate. 1, Is it possible to remove the text Min Dist when you measure a distance. The customer would like to just have the dimension for example just 105 instead of Min Dist 105 2. How could you remove ",prt" in the name when you use a callout with item Tag? /Fredrik

Hello all,maybe it has been ask many times, and for all I know, it seems not possible. But at least I will also ask for it:Is it possible to export a shaded 2d figure (e.g. in the attachment) to a shaded vector graphic? Or, to ask another question:Does anyone in the forum use Creo Illustrate to create illustrations and then finally convert them into vector graphics? I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0In Creo Schematics, when exporting sheets to PDF format and printing directly, all the labels are thin and non-arial bold. I'm Using default font called "font". Just upgraded from Creo 4.0 to Creo 7.0 and the thickness and font type that they export are different. In Creo 4.0 all text labels are Arial Font and bolded depending on label which is what I want. When I moved to Creo 7.0 all text labels are thin and in non-arial font no matter if you export PDF or Print Directly. Is there a configuration that I am missing? From what I have investigated myself all of the settings seem to be the same. Thanks

What is the purpose of a having a markup tab in Creo View Express and Creo Lite, If those markups cannot be saved? I'm trying to communicate with my engineers, They are either working remote or in the field and all they have are these viewers. Are they strictly for viewing only?

Is there an easy way to take a Creo model (fully annotated with view states identified) and convert it to a PVZ with a 2D PDF attached to that PVZ?  The idea is to be able to give someone the PVZ file, but for them to also have access to the traditional 2D drawing for reference.    

Hello,  I have an existing P&ID drawing created in Creo Schematics, and it has a BOM table as shown in the attached Image1.png file. I am trying to update this table to change certain information on it. When I tried to right-click this table, and select Properties, I get an error message as shown in the attached Image2.png file. Is there a way to fix this issue?  

Hi,I would like to add a PDF which comprises several combined pages to a PVZ file in order to be able to view them in Creo View not as separate files but as a set of pages to utilize the "page" utility and make viewing instructions more user friendly. I can think of one way, which requires 2 steps:1. Include the pdf in the PVZ zip file2. Edit the structure .pvs fileHowever, the pvs file, when open in notepad, contains pdf file names and some uncommon ASCII characters, which make barely any sense. Not only that, but when I just open the file and save it without any actual edits, I get an error when trying to open the PVZ file in Creo View. Is there any other way or any specific editor for PVS files I could use to achieve my goal? EDIT:I've got this weird thing where I find a solution to my problems as soon as I post a question... Solution - just open the pvz file in Creo View -> File -> Add Viewables to Session -> Save all

Hello all, we´re trying to find a smooth way to share and update an illustrate standard maintained via the Administration tool to several users.Is there a nice (and possibly native) way how to do?I can also imagine something within sharing the standard via Windchill Question is related to Illustrate 9 &10 Similar question was already raised here , but not about the sharing / updating of an standard 

Hoping someone could point me into some direction with it have one user on the floor, creo view on ipad, sent the pvz file (same that others are using) and it just opens creo view but doesnt show. Tried cloud host, local file, usb transfer, you click the pvz, open with creo view, and it just loads the default screen showing only the default preloaded gearbox part and does nothing.  

When adding a new sheet to a schematic I am prompted to select a template from the Design Templates section of the Catalog Explorer. I am currently trying to see if there is a way to load my .RSDT template that I use when I initially create a schematic into this part of the catalog, since having to edit my main design template and the template for additional sheets is cumbersome. As of right now it seems like you have to manually create and edit new sheet templates in the Creo Schematics catalog, similar to editing artifact's, and there is no option to import or load a template from an existing .RSDT file. Dear all,As far as I understand the issue - it's born in the Light scenes, where shadow areas appear grey. We facing the issue in Creo Illustrate - and looking for a light scene that I can adjust the lights are best for the used figure.But just switching from headlight to 1,2 or 3 light - making not the big difference.I would be more convinced if the light scene can really adjusted by placing the light.Are there plans to improve or extenf functions along light scenes?Or is there any workaround getting the original object color displayed, e.g. by disable lights completely? E.g. even that the left figure is not identical - the grey colored fridge frame is white, but appear due to light sceene grey. The right figure showing the expected result we want to achieve.RegardsRobert   

Hello, Would anyone know how to show the part number in the creo view,   My creo view only show filename and vision number (I open the view from windchill web page). Most time I need the item number to check the ERP information, But now, I need back to Windchill web page check item number first. Is there any option for me can select show the inforamtion?    

I am using Solidworks now ( I know Booo) but I have some files from my previous job I would like to look at and they are not opening. The parts do but the drawing does not. can you help?   

I know that SHADE_QUALITY #  will affect the resolution of the PVZ file,  I'm looking for specific config.pro options outside of the recipe file.  Thanks in advance!

Hello,  We are leveraging Creo Illustrate with our CAD data coming from CATIA (not integrated with Windchill). When we import a CATIA file into Creo Illustrate, the following parts of the CATproduct are not being imported and I'm curious if there is a way to make these features import:  CATIA Named Views CATIA ScenesCATIA Functional Tolerancing & Annotations (FT&A) CapturesCATIA FT&A Views  When we import Creo files, Creo Illustrate will recognize alternate representations & combination states, which would be equivalent functionality to some of the CATIA functionality mentioned above. Does anyone know how to get these features to also import in? 

I just loaded Creo view express 10 and tried to open a couple Creo 3 drawings and I am getting a blank white screen. Any ideas

I added a Torque Wrench to my animation. And, when I preview it, it generates the text "Torque bolts to specified value". This is because I added the Torque Wrench. Is there any way to remove the other phrase, leaving only "Step 3"???
