Is there a way to assign markups to individual viewstates so that when you are switching between them the markups don't follow?

It is very hard to get interest in the markup in Creo Veiw when it is much easier to draw on a printed paper the Engineering systems needed.  For example surface finish, Weld Symbols, Diameter Symbol... etc and so on.  It is 2022... this is a bit embarrassing to try to get the business to adopt markup when the tool is half way designed.

Can a Design Template be changed from Landscape to Portrait format?

Choosing User Defined for this sub assembly in this simplified rep automatically unchecks the part.  Checking the box sets it back to Master Rep.  How do I get a user defined representation to be allowed to display for this subassembly?   in creo in creo in pvz in pvz

In reguards to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS210906.   I have been playing with this and discovered these attributes about two years ago and have found it very valuable.  One thing that happened though is I rolled a dash number of an install , It was pretty much additions but it rolled about half of the Part ID's within the -002 part and now i need to redo all my tracking markers / context ID's  Why wouldn't it have kept everything that didn't change with the same numbers and add the new ones. 

Tried placing Decals on models...they must be invisible?  Went thru the prompts, searched in the HELP section, did the Mapping Shape and wore my tin-foil hat for a bit...???!!!   It's on a flat surface and the model is brought in as a STEP file?   Screenshots show the application of the decal...invisible.  

Hi all, when processing a save as of a creo parametric assembly in whindchill, I would like to include the illustration work.Unfortunately creo illustrate file is not embedded. what is your workarround whith for this use case? Mine is to save in local the c3di, break the link to the source, reconnect windchill and reconnect to the new published PVZ...

I was wondering if the Creo View BOM read in parameters from creo parametric (version 10) assemblies and part files, so that the names, item descriptions e.t.c would match. As well as that I was wondering whether the BOM lists matched in terms of the ordering of items/parts, so that the parts appear in the same order in both Creo View BOM and Creo Parametric BOM.

I'm trying to roll Creo View out to some pople within our company but don't want to without getting a few things ironed out. One being the publisher. Why does every job with the publisher fail! Has anyone got a way around this? Number 2 see attached, CYS and planes show up when opening Creo View out of both Windchill and ThingWorx. Anyone have a solution for this?

Does anyone know why the "Match whole word only" option would be greyed out in the Creo View Find tool? I am unable to find a setting to turn that on. I am using Creo View Lite.  

I have schematics design created in Creo schematics 8.0. Some connectors are located on sheet 1 and some are on sheet 2. Wires are connected between this connectors using highway.I have more than 3 sheets in this design and want to export selected components from two sheets in one xml. While exporting this design if i select "Selected",  components from active sheet only gets exported although i have selected components from second sheet also.I want components from both sheets in one xml but dont want to use "Export complete design" option. Is their any other way to do that ? Or is it Creo schematics issue ?

Hello everyone,I'm not an expert Creo View user and I'm trying to find a way to obtain the minimum-size enclosure that contains a Creo part or assembly (or imported STEP files). In Creo Parametric you can set the Enclosure feature to "optimized" (from 11.0) or orient it according to a selected CSYS.I couldn't find a similar option in Creo View: when using Markup > Measurements > Envelope, the bounding box is always created according to the default CSYS. In the attached picture you can see a practical example where my part's CSYS is not oriented according to the minimum-size envelope/enclosure.Am I missing something? Thanks.

I have an assembly opened in Creo View and all of the sub-assemblies show up fine in the structure tree. However, in the model tree it will only show the top-level assembly that I have open. I would like to select parts in the graphic window and have them highlight in the model tree, like how it works in Creo Parametric.  I have tried reloading the branch links of the top-level assembly in the model tree, and the next level of sub-assemblies' link correctly, however as soon as I go to the structure tree and come back to the model tree, all of those links disappear. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this I would definitely appreciate it!

We are trying to compare the .cgm drawings and pdf drawings in Creo view, but the files are not loading.For .cgm it just blank and for .pdf it throws file is invalid. Also have attached file for reference  

I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0I have a file which appears to be corrupted it should have 8 design sheets but it will only open 7 of the 8 sheets. The file produces the C++ assert failure which crashes Creo Schematics. We will recreate the design. But how do we prevent this as this message C++ assert failure, appears more frequently with Creo Schematics 7.0 (was never in Schematics 4.0). And the design has internal error 002 when you open it. But cannot do design check to repair because it gives C++ assert failure and crashes. How to resolve or work around this issue?Here are the errors that I facedInternal Error 002, C++ assert failure

Is there any way to propagate Creo Schematic drawing parameter to Windchill? Please suggest 

Hi, i'am using Creo Illustrate 9.1.Is it possible to rename the parts in the sbom with "use alternate part names" in a way, that a published U3D-file has the alternative part names?At his point this feature just uses them to display the names in the sBom, but doesn't really rename anything.
