This is a video about how to begin assembling robot pieces to create a basic robot that can build up into a competition robot. It also compares a simple robot with our robot and how 8476 Chunky Bears designed their robot using these tutorial steps. The tutorial also explains how designing is important and can be helpful before building an actual FTC robot. It provides a steady pace along with good detail so that beginners with PTC Creo can learn how to design their first robot. This video was created by FTC Team #8467, the Chunky Bears. I accidentally skipped the licensing step and this is what happens when I open parametric. Once I click "ok" it closes everything and I cant click any other thing
I have Windows 10 and Creo doesn't seem to be compatible. Is there a way I can fix this without deleting 10 and staying on windows 8?
Can someone send me the direct link? Thanks.
Our team has 3.0 M010 installed from last season...Is this going to get us through this season? Or does this version expire?Thanks,Dan#7300 Ashebots
When does Robotalk 2015 webinars start ? does anyone have the schedule and where we can register for this years Robotalk webinars ?
I need help .. I having this problem that it kept saying that they cant locate my Vending Machine simulator. I downloaded from the Academic Program.
Creo 2.0 student edition download says it is downloading 4.0GB file but once download has finished, file is only about 950 MB and the zip folder download won't unzip and comes up with a window saying zip folder is empty. I read up about how to unzip the folder and downloaded 7-zip file manager which did the trick but after installing, creo parametric would not open. and I feel like this is due to my final download not being the full 4.0GB it should be. on a side note, I've read that Creo 3 student edition is not compatible with windows 64 bit@ edition even though there is a download link for it as i have also tried downloading that with no success.
From where I can get the study material for Thingworx certification and Thingworx API documentation?
I installed the different programs and they won't run.
I am trying to install the Creo student edition. But everything is unsuccessful no matter how many times I try to start the installation.Need help please!
bonjour, après installation de créo 3.0 M40 sur mon pc avec une licence etudiant, celui ci ne se lance pas ? Je suis sur un DELL M4800 avec Windows 10.
Hi,My FTC team set up a Windchill account/project last year, but because we were a rookie team, we were overwhelmed with new stuff to learn and never used it. I did load in the KOP (don't remember the process I used) and think it is OK as is. Today as we were accessing Windchill as a Creo team, a couple of students could not get in despite having a PTC account. The message they received was Any idea why two students got in and two did not? Also, we are looking for a clear process to follow as a design team for checking out and checking in parts and saving new assemblies, etc. to Windchill. The only instructions I found were for loading the KOP and these in another thread on the community:https://github.com/frc-4931/2014/wiki/PTC-CADhttps://github.com/frc-4931/2014/wiki/Adding-CAD-ModelsThe Quick Start Guide shows what everything in Windchill is, but there's no process to it. I appreciate any help you can give with these two items.Linda StewartFTC 8477rOHMing Robots
