Hello, i'm trying to figure out what does this error means when i try to connect FT edge gateway to thingworx.I've also tried to use kepware but " ThingWorx Native Interface Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = XXXXX:8080/Thingworx/WS, error = could not initialize a secure socket connection."I've read all the previous argument but there is no way to solve it, the configuration seems ok.     

I'm trying to install the licensing for CREO.  I follow the steps they gave me at the university but when I execute the step for the licensing I get an error.  How can I solve this ?           

Hey, I've got the same problem, but could not fix it with the instructions above. Could someone please help me out? I've already tried changing my password and followed the relicense guide.  I recieved a document saying that my license is renewed (see attachments), but creo still says that my license expires in 14 days. Hi! I do not manage to download PTC Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0. During the installation process, when I click on "Acquire License", a warning message comes up, saying "License service appears to be busy. Please try again." I have "tried again" a couple of times without success, so I am wondering what to do to make the installation work?      

Hi, I was using Creo 6, 7 and 8 as a member of a formula student team. But recently I reinstalled windows and when I am trying to install any version of Creo, after entering the product code it is stuck at 'processing'. I tried disabling firewall and ipv6 of my router, no success. I am kinda desperate now as I am not able to work properly without Creo....

Hello, I'm wondering what is wrong with my version of PTC mathcad, if it doesn't do anything, and how do I fix it.  For example if I enter 3+4, it shows as 3+4+? in a red box Thank you.            

Hi-  I've been using Onshape over the past few years.  I'm now in a school that uses Creo 8,  upgrading to 9 soon.  I thought Id install Creo 9 on a laptop so I can refresh my skills before launching into a classroom of expectant students.  I keep going round in circles trying to get a teachers installation to "work".  Can you point me in the right direction please?  

To relicense your Creo after the license expires, you can't use the relicense form the pop up window, as that is only for paying customers.   Process is simple: 1. Run Setup.exe as an administrator 2. Choose relicense existing product 3. Follow the process and insert the correct version code that you used to license one year back.   This will relicense your free student Creo license for another year. Please note that you can only renew your free Student License until you graduate.  

Issue: Unable to Install Creo using Creo Trial Player Installer   Reasons/Causes: - Windows firewall blocking Creo Trial Player installer   Solutions: - Disable windows firewall temporarily and then Install the application using Administrative Privileges. Click on Start > Type in Control Panel     Select System and Security (View by Category) Choose Windows Firewall (View by Small Icons) Select Turn Windows Firewall on or off on the left side of the screen Select the bubble next to Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended) Select OK to save the changes   Right Mouse Button on “PTC Creo Parametric 8.0.0.0 Trial CloudPlay.exe” and Run as Administrator  

 This is the window that keeps on popping up. I have tried to reconfigure the software and still no luck. Please, if you have any idea reply or message me. 

Hey,  So I have been using Creo for the past six months at home, and creo worked fine but when I decided to use creo at my school I kept getting a license error message (screenshot below) and two other errors saying AFX and IFX failed to load after this creo closes. Any idea how to fix this problem?

Hello, I am a professor at university and I need a Creo licence for home to give my lectures to students. I downloaded Creo 8.0 from PTC website and I write that I am a professor, but I think I have a student licence. I cannot access the NC assembly (Manufacturing type).How can I get the educational edition licence and how can I change it once I have downloaded Creo? Thank you for your answers.

Hello, I have been having problems with my Creo 9 (Student Edition) installation.When I try to open the Surface Finish Gallery or the Hatching Configurator I keep getting the warning that the corresponding file "was created with a commercial version of Creo Parametric and is not compatible with the Creo Parametric Student Edition (for educational use only) you are running." after which the program shuts down completely.I am sure this problem extends beyond the mentioned configuration files.A re-installation of Creo did not fix this (neither did a second one).There has not been any other version of Creo installed on my computer, nor have I uses any other license apart from the Student license I am currently using.Is there a way to fix this problem?Is it even wise to use the most recent version of Creo or are previous versions generally more stable? Thanks in advance for any input.

I am studying Business Administration at university but am interested in Creo, can i downlaod the free student version or do i have to study anything specifically like engineering to download creo for free? Creo is instantly shutting down whenever I try and open it saying it cannot run the quality agent. I have tried some solutions people have posted online but I am not seeing any folder in programfiles/ptc called quality agent, only the file name creo 7.0.8.0.
