Hello, I have drawing with multiple views and many dimensions in it. Now I want to check if a specific dimension from the model is already displayed. When searching for the dimension in the model (by its name *D224*), the dimension of interest is highlighted as desired. However, when performing the same search in the drawing, I get no results (although the dimension is already displayed). Am I doing something wrong or is it just impossible to search for a dimension in a drawing?   Greetings

Hi, I have installed creo, via the ptc installation tool, I didnt have any problem with the license code, in the installation tool I have correctly installed the programms in my computer but when I try to launch any of those appliclacion, like creo, it blocks me to access to the app, because of some issue about the license  but at the installation tool doesnt give me any error about the license that I did use I have tryed to reinstall the application but nothing, here is a screen what look like the error that I received for all application:  

Hi all, My ptc creo parametric 4.0 doesn't start. I checked my graphic driver, i tried to reinstall 2 times the program but it doesn't fix it. I tried to start with parametric.exe and .bat, also on the windows command prompt. Same problem. No errors shown. I also tried to disable windows defender and tried to start ptc as administrator..nothing happened. Someone can help me? Thanks

Hi guys, this is my first post so i hope I did everything right. Good old Creo is driving me nuts again: I have a legacy assembly for which i need a specific instance of a bolt (DIN7991_M3X6). Bolts according to DIN7991 are available in our standard parts library, but my needed size is not. No problem so far, I just created a new instance M3X6 in the family table and added this instance to my assembly. When opening Creo the next day, the M3X6 bolt is marked as missing. When clicking "assemble" and choosing the DIN7991 bolt, the M3X6 type is not included in the table that shows up. And here comes the magic: When creating a new assembly or opening the DIN7991 part, the instance is available and can be picked without any problems. I've spent some hours trying to figure out what the hell is wrong but can't find anything. Can someone help me out on this one?   Greetings

"Fatal error encountered. A traceback has been written to... <path>... Please send it to technical support."   1) How should I send it? Via email? Is there a web form, etc.?   I downloaded STEP files from the Internet. The error occurs while I'm assembling the parts in Creo. It has happened twice now on the same project, and I have rebooted at least once.   2) Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot? Or explain further here? Or is sending the traceback file to PTC support my best option? Thanks.   (Running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit , Service Pack 1 on a Dell Lat\itude E6430 w/ 8 GB RAM)

Hello there!   I am sorry to intrude here, but I have problem with unninstaling Creo platform agent 3.121 and PTC Diagnostic tools(which is propably some kind of similiar version as platform agent). The reason why I have this trouble, is because i unninstaled Creo 3.0 M080 which I had for some time, but i deleted the installation files and cannot unninstal Platform Agent 1.321 and that diagnostic tools. Would be anybody so kind and send me those files somehow?   Thank you very much

I am having Creo-5.0 crash very often. The error in the traceback file is "Exception EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO has occurred in the thread 9536"  Full file is attached.  Any thoughts on what may be causing this.     

Hello guys,  I am facing this problem whenever I move cursor 3d model, it starts to show like this picture(WA0003) as I move my cursor but when I move the cursor again then it starts to show as normal as in the picture(WA0005) please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks

I am trying to install the free student edition.K-12 - Creo. I have downoladed and extracted the files with no problem. When th PTC installation assitant is up - i accept the license terms with no problem.  But the assistand - does not repond after i put in my account infomation. it simply says (not responding ) and hangs there.   What can I do ?    

Cant build package with "mvn package"

While I was downloading Creo 4.0 and review the instillation steps. I lost my internet connection and lost the steps with the license code. Once the internet resumed, the download finished but I can't access the program because I still don't have the licensing code. Is their anyway to receive a new licensing code for the free student version of Creo 4.0? 

I downloaded creo last year but now when I open it, it says that the license has expired. I searched through the forums and there were only creo 2.0 license renewals. How do you renew creo 3.0 license?

I have a geometry of solid pipe throughout with helical grooves on its surface running across the whole pipe. The pipe has 10 equal grooves. The geometry is helically symmetric. What i want is to extract a sector across the whole length of the pipe which has one groove in it. Because the pipe has 10 grooves, this makes the pipe a combination of 10 sectors each having one groove. As the pipe is helically symmetric, the sector i want to extract should also be helical and if i were to apply a pattern to that sector using axis as reference and using number of patterns to be 10, i should get the exact geometry as original pipe. I have tried to extract the sector and i got something useful but when i apply pattern to it, the geometry is not the exact original one, instead it has gaps along the intersection of individual sectors and pipe is not a smooth circle.Original pipe geometry with groovesHelical sector of pipeAxis pattern applied to helical sector with gaps in the center of geometry.

I have to gauge the ThingWorx performance and the consumption of resources when the  number of sensors changes.  Is there a API  to ask ThingWorx information about its status and occupied resources?

Hello I’m a student of the last year of Computer Engineering. Soon I will graduate but I still haven’t finished my thesis. In the last part of my thesis I have to add many virtual sensors to the ThingWorx platform thank to a sensor simulator ( such as ThingWorxAccademicSimulator). These sensors must be launched in multiple processes. The purpose is to gauge the performance and the consumption of resources when the  number of sensors changes.  I don’t know how to write the code to ask thingworx information about its status.  Could you give me a hand please?   p.s : I'm using ThingWorx Accademic Edition

Hello,    I just installed the student version of Creo Parametric V4. The tutorial explains that we can change the unit system of the software thanks to Creo Standards. However, when I choose the MKS system, a message comes up in Creo Standards : "Access denied. You must change the permission so that you can write in the folder..." .   I don't know how to resolve. Any help would be appreciated 

Hello,    I'm trying to download the Creo Parametric 5.0 student software. When I fill out the form to request this software, it says my phone number is not valid; I've tried my brother's phone number as well and it says his is not valid as well.    Do you have any ideas on what the problem is?       Thanks!   Philip Steiner

I installed M110 onto my computer, and it gave me a warning that i didn"t have the necessary licensing. I had a previous version of Creo which I completely reinstalled and then re-downloaded the new version, which fixed nothing. Help!

Hi all, I have created a CAD file of gussets that I am looking to cut out of sheet aluminium using my torchmate 4800 CNC plasma cutter but I am having difficulty moving my file from creo to the torchmate CAD-CAM software. I have tried exporting as many file types, from DXF to DWG and am unable to get anything to open. I also reached out to Torchmate's support team and they were unable to get the any of the files open in anything.  my gussets are in an assembly but I have also tried exporting single parts with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot seem to attach any of the files without major error messages but would be happy to provide them. Thanks in advance, -Aiden
