When this icon appears it disallows many functions within Creo Illustrate. Anyone know what it means?

Hi All,   I'm working on the customization of a stylesheet. When I try to publish my CMM, I find that the highlights position is after the title page. Which attribute in the FOSI I must modify to make sure that the highlights appear before the title page?   For your information, SGML tag concerned is transltr, the first element in mfmatr.   If you can show some FOSI examples, it will help a lot !   Thank you in advance.

Hi,   I have Arbortext Editor 7.1 without Styler.   When I try to open an *.xml document that uses the 40051-2C XML architecture, it opens with no problems.   When I try to open a *.dita document that uses the DITA XML architecture, it tries to open Arbortext with Styler and I get a message about no license.  If Arbortext is already open, the *.dita document opens with no problems.   I've looked through Windows file associations, environment variables, and the C:\flexlm directory, but have had no luck.  The documents use different DOCTYPE declarations (DITA versus USA-DOD) but I can't change that.   Do you know how I can fix this issue?   Thanks, Bob

Hi,   I've been using Arbortext 7.1 to author documents that use the 40051-2C XML architecture.    The latest version of the configuration files are acting strangely.  Apparently, you can insert any tag anywhere.  That is, when I click Insert > Markup for any tag, I get a big list of tags that starts with a.statement and ends with zip.   In some ways, this looks like a good thing, but it will probably cause problems somewhere.  I'm wondering if this was intentional, accidental, or maybe a problem at my end.  I've done a WinMerge comparison of the last two versions of the config files and can't find any clue to what's going on.   I access the config files from https://pubsweb.redstone.army.mil/DTD-FOSI/Webpages-60/ALLDTDs-AMCOM.html.  It's the 40051C 6.0 link at the top that's dated 11/11/18.   Thanks, Bob

Does Arbortext automatically assign any ids to elements within topics or can it be configured to do so?

I did not find any new information about creating formulas and other maths in Arbortext Editor. How is MathML supported in Arbortext Editor 7.1.? Is the Mathflow add-on still needed? And how is it installed?

Adepters:Does anyone know if it's possible to launch a video or a flash from a PDF built using PE direct-to-PDF? We're still at PE 5.3, but I couldn't find anything in the help about such support.Thanks,Dave HintzSiemens

We've just upgraded to Windows 10 from XP and also finally upgraded to Isodraw 7.3 (M060).We're having major issues with scaling. moving and rotating.Lines are being lost or added. See the example attached, left hand view is original, right hand view has just been copied and moved - same thing happens when scaling or rotating.It's not consistent, sometimes it's the ellipses that go wrong, sometimes it's lines.Another glitch we've come across so far, but not as serious:Using F5 (to split lines with ref points), the ref points are often either difficult to see or missing altogether.Does anyone else have these problems and if so, what can be done to correct them?

Hello PTC community,   Iam using IsoDraw 7.3 for my spare parts drawings, but somehow from one point it start to make mess in going from 3D to 2D.   We have not change anything in preference.   In attachement you can see what problem is and my setup.   Importing is by PVZ exported from WCH.   Can anyone help me please with this ?   Thank you, Jiri.

I know that one can use the message command at every line but I would like to step through code (especially if looking through code someone else has written.   Has anyone discovered an efficient and productive way to debug ACL scripts? Are there plans for a PTC IDE to be able to help with debugging?

Are abstract patterns supported by the Schematron implementation in Arbortext? Is the PDF version of the ACL reference all there is now? No HTML or any other version?

I have Iso Draw License and installed on our license server. We open FW 7788 but when we tried to connect Iso Draw, it said "Licenses request failed for feature ISODRAW". When else do we need to do?Thank you for your help

Whenever the Resource Manager is supposed to open, ArborText Editor crashes. This occurs whenever I attempt to open/create a dita map or view the resource manager manually.   I am receiving the following error: Unhandled exception at 0x0000000052BCFAFB (JavaAccessBridge-64.dll) in editor.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback.   Does anyone know what could be causing this behavior?

Hey everyone,   Can someone please answer my question.   I'm working on a .sgm file containing illustrations with hotspots (URI). When I publish my technical publication, I find that the hotspots are not activated. The hotspots are an APE issue.    FYI, we used ISODRAW to create the illustrations (.cgm)   Thank you in advance..      

Hi there, sorry if this has been asked before, Only starting out properly using Windchill and Arbortext Editor for work.    I had created a BookMap through Windchill and everything was working fine until a few days ago, when i try to open the BookMap in Windchill, through Arbortext Editor, it brings up an error message stating that i may not have correct access, even though i created it.   However, when i go to the WorkSpace folder in Windchill and open it there, it works.   Not sure why this is happening if anyone would have any ideas?   Thanks.

Is it possible, that Arbortext Editor 7.0 M060 save the correct entity for special characters in the SGML-files, like: <!ENTITY sim SDATA "[sim ]" --/sim R:=similar--> and not like this: <?Pub EntList alpha bull copy rArr sect trade percnt sim>

I upgraded one of my users ArborText installation for 6.1 to 7.1 M010.  Now, whenever he starts the ArborText application, he gets the attached error.    I am an IT guy tasked with packaging and installing the software.  I have no knowledge of how to use it.   Any ideas?  Thanks!

Hello,Recently the Menu from Tools > IDs and ID references... which shows the IDs in the XML file stopped working.When I click it, it simply doesn't open.Is there any solution for this issue ?

Hi, I am using file upload widget which has inbuilt browse option for uploading and using csv parser for  csv file upload right now. But I am not able to customize that widget. So I have put  button named browse and a textbox to display url. Here how can I browse the desktop using a button and choose a file?    Please provide some guidance. Thanks, V Shalini.
