Hi, I need to download and Install RV&S Server and Client application on the same virtual machine. But I am not able to find the link to download the installer file for RV&S Server and Client applications. And do we need separate licensing for Server and Client applications? if yes, please mention that as well. Please share a link if anyone knows.

Hi,  I need to install Windchill RV&S for R&D purposes and would like to know the difference between Client and Server installation and which one to consider. Also let me know the version that can be installed which also provides up-to-date documentation. Thank you.

Hello team,Need a way to track if requirement's Text field was touched (Text was changed).Something like a logical parameter that sets its value to true if Text was changed.Needed to track what requirements were changed. Can not use standard Significant Edit field as need to have an ability to override its value (like set it back to false manualy). ************Pls close this thread.Fixed.Thanks

Hi, I am trying to create an event on the Windchill RV&S server for getting auto-notification whenever a Checkpoint is created for Project/Subproject in Configuration Management side. I have also passed a path in .event file for the trigger script to be used. But how that is going to work unless I will not specify for which user or group this notification will be sent. Also, Trigger is only available in Workflows and Documents. How is it going to work for Configuration Management side? Regards,Harsh Ranjan

I'm having an issue with Windchill RV&S 13. ist there any way to trigger the RV&S 13 client to refresh the current view (basically what happens when user presses F5).We have some tools with shortcuts, that alter issues inside a document. After doing the changes it would be nice to tell RV&S Client / GUI that it should refresh to show the new data. Thanks and best regards.

We want to do an html report on a Test Session with test steps.In the generated report, images are only shown as placeholders.The images were automatically saved as attachment when added to the test step.When browsing the underlying link inside the report, f.e. "http://ourservername:7001/im/viewattachment/PTC_14952943054504893.png?attachmentID=1603&mks_tz=NONE&mks.disconnect",it asks for credentials for the RV&S server and downloads the file, so the connection basically works. Why is this image not shown in the report?

Hello there, I would like to ask if there is a way to add one / multiple test Items in an already created Test Session via CLI.I am working on an Windows machine if it makes any differenceI tried with editissue command but, as far as I understand, there is no --type argument in order to select my Test Session ID. Thank you in advance

How to export the text of a baseline label in Windchill RVs (formerly Integrity bicycle Manager) during Gateway Export ?Currently only blank baseline option is available in Gateway Export Wizard but cannot see any drop-down for baseline label selection.Is it possible to change label option as dropdown list/ pick list instead of text box in the Gateway Export Wizard window?Using the Export to Word Wizard the baseline of a Document can be exportedFor this the user has to enter the Label of the baseline into a text fieldUsing a simple text field to specify a Label is inconvenient and prone to errorsIt would be favorable if a Drop Down List was available for choosing a LabelIt would be more helpful to the end user if the list of labels for that selected document were provided

I'm trying to install PTC Modeler 8.5 in standalone mode on a Windows 11 PC. The installation fails. This also occurs for a server-only installation. Client installation works ok. The installation is run 'As Admin'.The log file error appears to be something to do with the operation ARTAddOMSUser.I've attached a log file for an example server installation that shows the error.Can you shed any light on this error and how it could be resolved.Thanks.

Hello everyone, I am facing an issue with PTC integrity. Whenever I start the PTC, I get the following errors.   'Malformed\uxxxx encoding'   Afterwards PTC integrity never opens. Why?The idea is to use an own way of  "item is edited" process calculation.Using of "Significant Change Since Item Revision" field is not suitable for some reason.Regards

Hello,I am trying to export/import the test steps from PTC using the IRC tool (version 3.4), however, when I create the mapping I don't see them available, I always see the same type of documents to export (see attached image), test steps are not included even when I use the query in the mapping to get them. We are trying to create a SI trigger which resync the Sandbox on development server (on the VM filesystem) automatically when the file is checked in (which contain custom triggers) on the Windchill RV&S client by any developer.The purpose is to deploy the trigger scripts, report recipes automatically on server (VM) instead of copy pasting the files manually.Please suggest how can we automate this process

 Logs from Trigger scripts are not visible in server logWe wrote the logs in trigger script same as given in the ptc help document e.g. function print(msg, level) {if (level == null) level = 5;Packages.mks.util.Logger.message("MYTRIGGER", level, msg);}but when we run the script, these logs are not visible in server logs.

Hello Community, We are using PTC RV&S 13.2 and i would like your support to understand how the Trace reports in RV&S look like. What are the details its shown in the report.  At the moment, our supplier who does the backend development for customizing and maintaining the PTC environment wants to sell his own trace report.  But i would like to first understand how the default built in PTC's trace report looks like.
