Hello All, i am seeking Help for SI Deleteproject, i used it sucessfully it deleted , but there is ? in from of the subproject which got deleted, i need to fully remove it from the DB so that in future if same name subproject is created it will not cause any error. can any one provide the work areond to fix this? Not i am admin with app & db server full access. i can run cmd on the DB or app server, pls share your case how the cmd helped you, if you can.

I have a problem with a DOORS (9.6) module that I am trying to update via IRC (3.4). I have a module named SPEC_A that was imported in DOORS baseline 1.0 using a ReqIF file with IRC. This module was later renamed SPEC_B, evolved, and moved to DOORS baseline 2.0. Since baseline 1 was a DRAFT version, I deleted the initially imported module, thinking that since it has changed its name, IRC would consider it as a new module and therefore perform an “insert.” However, when I tried importing the new module with the changed name (SPEC_B) via IRC, IRC tells me that SPEC_A does not exist… I try to restor a SPEC_A to import a .dma in the tagert path in order to have a correct target on the path of IRC but I think that the importation of the dma haven't the same id hat the original SPEC_A module and IRC and IRC no longer recognizes the module SPEC_A... Do you have any solutions? I thought that IRC would understand that changing the module’s name would be considered as a new m

Anyone know if there is a good introduction for users of RV&S. It dosn't even have it's own page here on community (unless it's called something else)The only ones I see are for companies showing a better tool than RV&S.I have used Windchill for over 20 years and after 3 days trying to understand RV&S I really, really miss Windchill. RV&S is very not intuitive. 

I saw an earlier question (posted in 2023) asking about compatibility with V7R5. There did not appear to be an answer/reply to that. We are planning to upgrade from OS V7R4 to V7R5. Is Implementer 12.6 compatible with V7R5?

In RV&S application, what data schema does the application follows and how the data is defined in backend?

Hopefully I'm posting in the correct place for RV&S 13?We are just starting with RV&S and have a few tests. In one, we find a "configuration" and export to excel (that works).On the Web Home page, scroll to the bottom of the home screen and select Site Notes / WIndchill RV&S Documentation.Select Launch ToolEnter in Network credentials.Select the "Select Excel File" icon. Then Choose the File.Import the exported and updated spreadsheet,Edit the existing document (because we want to upload the "changes") After all the other screens you get to the final section [3] and field mapping and then we select Use Completed mapping.Then when we review, it has ADDED items (basically duplicated) but not changed any items.Are we missing something?

Hello team,Is there a way to put a requirement's field value inside Admin Query?Here is the case. Every ReqDoc (and nested Requirements) has a field called Level\Allowed Level (1,2,3) and traces are allowed from level to level+1 only. So during trace creation I need to execute a search for all ReqDocs where Level field value = AllowedLevel value of selected requirement. How can I get and use the value of selected object in these kind of Query?Thanks

Hello. I'm trying to install PTC Modeler 10.1 to my computer, with Standalone configuration, however could not manage it. Before I start, I want to inform that,- I have 2 user account (Administrator and Local User) .- I run installation module as Administrator,- I disable my Antivirus software,- I'm working in an offline environment, with my network card is enabled.  As far as I know from the installation guide, the installation module contains SQL Server Express 2019, so if I check "Local Modeler Server Instance" on installation configuration page, it will install and configure MODELER SQL instance by itself. Since I don't have SQL Server installation in my computer, I took that route. When it comes to the installation of SQL instance, it gives the error seen in "Capture_Installation_SQLServer.PNG" and rollbacks the installation.I installed SQL Server Express 2019 with all features, and SQL Server Management Studio 2019 to my computer, created default SQLEXPRESS instance and

I have installed MSSQL Server and PTC RV&S client and Admin in a virtual machine. Now the machine's hostname has been changed and have done below remediation-Got new license from PTCChanged is.properties files by replacing old hostname with new one.Changed the hostname in SQL server management studio with a query.Have checked the TCP/IP port as well.Executed the Telnet to the new hostname and sql port - workingwhat all steps do I need to follow to remediate the issue and avoid the error. Also is there any need to install the application again as well?

How to define drop-down values for a field dynamicaly? Need a way to present different selection lists of the same field for different Requirement Documents. Like Colour (red,yellow,green) for one RD and Color (blue,green) for another. Any other ideas like playing with HTML code insertion?Thanks

Hi, I have installed the PTC RV&S Server and Client 13.3.0.0 on a virtual machine whose hostname has been changed now due to other reasons. My RV&S application installation has been affected due to that as it was configured with the previous hostname.  Please let me know in which all folders I can change the hostname of the virtual machine in installation directory of RV&S server and client application.

Hello,How to use the field value of type FVA (with possible return values integer 0 or 1) to use inside a 'logic' field with computation check? In short FVA field values could be 0 or 1 only and they need to be trnasformed to present boolean values true or false for logic field.Regards

I have set up the RV&S Server and trying to connect to RV&S Client with Host name and port number but it's showing below error.What are the remediation steps? Do we need to add the port number to any properties file ?

I have installed MSSQL version 12 and trying to connect the database while installing PTC RV&S 13.0.0.0. I am getting an error while entering the database instance information - "Could not connect to database. Please verify with the Database Administrator that the database information is correct. 

Hello team,Is there a way to disallow trace creation for requirement at particular revision (i.e. Rev0) or State (like Initial?). Or a way not to display it in a Structure table in a ProjectFinder?Or set custom access control in these cases?Thanks
