We are using CWC as a solution to provide work instructions to employeesOver 1 year there is a table that growing very fast called workdefinitionhistory (reaching the 1TB soon)What will be the effect if this table will be cleaned?Is there a PTC way/best practice to clean the table?my plan is to archive and move the data to a different storage.

I want to implement file parsing on the Thingworx platform. Is there any way to solve it

We maintain both Production count and Waste count in an external database. These values are fetched programmatically into RTPPM, as described here: PTC Community – How to update the production count using Production Event UID. In addition, we track rejection part counts with multiple rejection reasons. Our requirement is to update these rejection reasons in RTPPM as well.   The question is: Can multiple waste events be created programmatically under a single Production Event UID to capture different rejection reasons with rejection count?   @mstarnaud 

Trying to update the production (part count) for the past timestmp based on the "Production Event UID". Used the following service, PTC.SCA.SCO.MnfgCommonProductionUtilsThing.AdjustProductionQuantity_PRD() The count reflecting into current shift or current production event. The part count considered as current part count from machine. What is best practices or possible ways to update the part count for past timestamp using production event?   @mstarnaud 

In RTPPM 10.0 the OEE gets calculated at Work Unit Level but when I check the OEE at the Work Center level in KPI Dashboard or reports it shows 0. Any suggestion if I have missed any configurations?

Hi,We are planning to upgrade ThingWorx 9.3.5 + CWC 3.1.0 to version 10.1.The OS user who originally installed ThingWorx is no longer with the company.Is there an official workaround to allow a new user to run the upgrade installer? or are we forced to perform a manual upgrade? Best Regards,Tomer.

The Plant site is looking to display the RTPPM KPI dashboard on a 42-inch screen in a production environment. However, the current layout leaves a lot of unused white space, which makes it less effective for large-screen visibility.Is there a way to:Adjust the layout or resolution to better utilize the screen space?Enable a full-screen or wallboard mode?Customize the dashboard view to show more data or machine statuses in a compact format?Any suggestions, configuration tips, or examples from similar setups would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance! 

Hello. We created a job order with ID 343 in the RTPPM System. However, when we tried to open this job order, the job order with ID E53435P001T001 was opened instead. Apart from containing the number 343 in it, there is no similarity between them. In fact, the job order with ID E53435P001T001 is not even assigned to the machine that was opened.At first, we thought this was due to editing the job order creation mashup, but we realized that the same issue occurs even when we create the job order using the StartJobOrder_JOR service inside the machine’s thing.Also, sometimes job orders that have no such similarity with each other are opened in place of one another.Another issue is that the description field of the opened job order becomes empty. The synchronization on the machine’s thing is turned off.

Hi Everyone. I have a service that takes job orders from ERP and saves RTPPM's job order and job order ap table. And works just fine.But my problem is sometimes job orders and products change via equipment things even job order sync and product sync configurations are disabled. (For information Use Job Order Model and Use Product Model is enabled.) Is there any service that changes this tables?

"Manuel Mode" is activated by itself during a job order run, without any error log. Manuel Mode button is not clicked. It's not a periodic issue, happens once a day or week. What can be the reason? 

Hi everyone I have issue with manual mode. it activate itself.  Are there known reason that to do that? 

During Thingworx Applications 10.0 installation, in the "Install Applications" step, I get the error below:"ERROR 2025-06-13 16:39:09.120 Install Applications - Error Code: 25002CORE Unknown step: com.thingworx.dsl.exceptions.DSLRequestProcessingException: Invalid Reference to Object In Script" I'm using MSSQL, I think I used the right collations. What could be the reason?

Hello, I am trying to install RTPPM 9.7.1. We are having following hierarchy in our RTPPM instance. ---Plant -------Area 1 -------Area 2 -----------Machine 1 (working with 2 shifts) -----------Machine 2 (working with 3 shifts) -----------Machine 3 (working with 3 shifts)   As per PTC's best practices the shift event has to be configured at top level node. Here what is the best approach to configure?   What will happen if I’m configuring shift event for both (Area 2 with three shifts) and (Machine 1 with two shifts)? How the shift preference works with RTPPM?  Can I configure different type shifts at all 3 levels? @mstarnaud 

Hi,    We have configured the SAP to CWC using the OData and mapped a couple of APIs. The exact configuration is made for the DEV and QA (Which are just Thingworx Navigate instances)However, the CWC Instance is missing a couple of APIs, which are present on the DEV and QA.How do we debug or reverse engineer why these are missing only on CWC instances?   Thanks,

Hi,I'm working on CWC and would like to know if there's any way to verify what was filled during all steps on work instructions during an assembly execution. I know that on fabrication execution there's the log sheet, and for that I've found what I was looking for. On assembly execution I could only find the performance report, which shows only metrics on time per step and the chart for events and attributes,So my question is if there's a way to see what was the inputs/outputs on each step for assembly execution too?

I have a customer who will not be renewing DPM, but needs to continue using the PTC.Base entities from the Solution Framework.  These entities were added as part of the DPM installation.  Will letting DPM expire impact the solution framework extension entities?

We are more of production background so we have just some basic knowledge  so we are in search of someone with good knowledge about the platform who can guide us when we face challenges. Is there a best practice recommendation on Deleting an Equipment from RTPPM? Disabling one only disables it from the equipment structure, but the equipments are visible in other configuration places (even though the models won't work anymore for those equipments, but it might be confusing if operator still sees it in the list of equipments for selection).Note : I am using TWX 9.5.1
