Hello all,   What I am trying to build is the following: I have a main mashup with a banner at the top and a contained mashup underneath. When this main mashup is loaded, I select a certain mashup to be added in 'name' of contained mashup. Based on button clicks happening in this contained mashup, I want the contained mashup to switch between 2 different mashups.   Is this possible? If yes, I will need some help please     My idea is the following: Have 2 contained mashups on top of each other and make them visible based on button click inside them. Is this feasible? 🙂

Hello,   I'm using a mashup collection to handle my menu. In the menu mashup I have a value display. Unfortunately when the user click on it a border appears around it. I think this is due to   root : { --ptcs-focus-overlay--border-width: 2px; } How can I avoid that? I'm using ThingWorx 9.1.1-b483

Hi, Currently I am trying to get/add collection level visibility permissions for Media.  code : result = Resources["CollectionFunctions"].GetCollectionVisibilityPermissions({collectionName: "Media" }); If I try to execute I am getting error like :  Message :: Collection [Media does not exist - See Script Error Log for more details.   Thanks in advance.. 

Hi, I am using TW 9.1v. In grid advanced, when checking the property 'Use theme' the grid header borders are not set. But when I inspect the screen, I am able to see the border. I have set the cell border in style theme but still it doesnt appear. Is this a product bug or am I missing anything?   Thanks in advance, Shalini V.  

Below is the snippet for my test code. The body works fine if it has string key-value pairs. But it fails when numeric values are passed in the body. Also, I cross checked by using Postman that this same snippet containing numeric body works OK. How to move the file from local directory to Thingworx repository folder using service.

Is there a way to slow down the input of the Events Router function? I'm trying to use an events router function, but the first input will always be the latest because it is refreshed every time the page loads. The thing is, I want the second input to evaluate as true whenever a menu item is not being selected, which will be most of the time.

Hi, Everything can be searched by its identifier. I used to think that this field is indexed. But recently noticed that this field does not have any index in the table thing_model. Is this correct ?   Regards, Sean

Hi All, https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS243088 When I try to follow this article to connect MySQL with ThingWork, I got an issue. According to step 4, I need to upload the JDBC driver file in JdbcCreator mashup. (Does this JDBC driver file refers to MySQL-connector-java-8.0.23.jar???)   But I can not upload MySQL-connector-java-8.0.23.jar. When I click the “Upload” button, nothing happened. I didn't see a link displayed below the buttons.    In my case, I want to know if I upload the correct file. If I uploaded the wrong file, what file should I upload in this place? Where can I get this file? If it’s correct, why doesn’t it respond after clicking the upload button? Thanks!

Hi, Is ThingWorx v9.1 stable? We installed 9.1 version and facing lot of issues. Frequently it says rest failure and the entities are getting missed. We developed lot of screens and suddenly the Things got deleted that we were using. Many Things and Mashups or other entities are getting deleted frequently. What is the root cause of this? Can we revert to version9.0? If we do so will it support the entities that were developed using 9.1?  Please suggest how to procced. Hi,   We are planning to migrate from Thingworx 8.5 HA to Thingworx 9.1 HA. I have read PTC help documents for HA. I need clarification on below points. We are planning to do on Windows 2019 environment. 1. Is it compulsory to use connection servers in Thingworx 9 HA. We have not used connection servers in Thingworx 8.5 HA? 2. Can we install and configure Apache Ignite in respective thingworx servers? Do we need to go with separate systems for Ignite?   In Thingworx 8.5 HA, used below components. 1. Load Balancer 2. Azure Postgre SQL service 3. Two Thingworx servers(2 Azure VM's) 4. Three Zookeepers systems 5. Common folder Repository(File Repository)     Regards, Latha

Hi,    Currently I  am  trying to add runtime permissions for PlatformSubsystem , CurrentSessionInfo & RuntimeLocalizationFunctions through service. I am only able to add permissions for  "ServiceInvoke" but if I try to add permissions for  "PropertyRead" , "PropertyWrite", "EventInvoke" , "EventSubscribe"   I am getting error message for event perms.  = > Error executing service test1. Hi,    I am using TWX 9.1 with manufacturing app and Postgres as persistence provider. I have set up kepserver on another machine. I have done the configuration of remote thing in kepserver.  I am doing below steps in TWX using postman - 1. When I login again after logging out, even though I entered the correct ID and password, I cannot login and the login pop-up keeps popping up.This doesn't happen the first time I log in, it only occurs when I login again.
