Hello,   I am a newer user of Thingworx. We have created an application which involves having our Model Tag on a Thing to browse it, however I'm having difficulties trying to deploy this to say 100 things.   My initial though was to utilise the Thing Shapes/Thing Templates, but that doesn't seem to work with Model Tags. So I wanted to see if someone could offer a suggestion for mass deploying a Model Tag to Things.   Thank you.

Hi everyone,   I am beginner with Thingworx.   I have installed Thingworx 8.5 Postgres in my virtual machine based on Azure.   I was able to finishe installation succesfully.   My question is:   How do I access the Thingworx home page? I know that I need to use the addres bellow:   http://<servername>:<port>/Thingworx   Where, my <servername> is my DNS from Azure machine. Image bellow:     And my <port> is 8080   So, I tried to use:   http://xxxxxx.eastus.cloudapp.azure.com:8080/Thingworx   But it did not work..   May someone help me with this?   Regards,   Leonardo

Hey all,   A disclaimer: I'm new to Thingworx and have only been doing this for about 3 months. My problem:  I'm trying to take the output of a multi-select combo box and map it into an insert with a javascript/SQL service.  Let me describe what I'm trying to do:  I have a combo box that will allow users to select up to six values.  I then bind this to an infotable attached to a javascript service as an input parameter.  I have each field declared in a datashape that defines the infotable.  My javascript then concatenates the values together separated by a '/'. So my output is value1/value2/value3, etc as a text string.  I'm trying to combine the 6 selections into a one row insert. The javascript then calls the SQL insert.  Both services work fine when I test in the Thing stand alone.  The multiple select in the combo box works fine as I can display the selections in a grid.  The rub is that I don't know how to get the output from

Hi,   I encountered this issue when adding a new post in blog widget. The screen becomes grey when I clicked on the "Add New Post" button. This causes me not to be able to submit the post.    What could have gone wrong?    

Hi Thingworx Gurus,   I would like to know if there is a way to import an infotable into a datatable?   The reason is that I would like to display the infotable content into Advanced Grid widget and to enable filtering and sorting capabilities. It seems like the filtering and sorting features can only works when the data source is Datatable. If there is anyway that can have an infotable to work with Advanced Grid widget's filtering and sorting, would appreciate if you can share.   *Note: I have read this post and it seems that the suggested way (using InfotableFunction resource) is not working for me.

Is there a way to retrieve screen resolution information on mashup load using service or any other methods in thingworx?

Hello everyone!   I want to write my own custom widget for mashups (rewrite one of the existing ones). I installed Eclipse and the Thingworx extension for it, created a project and added a new widget there. I have not changed anything and there is a standard widget template. How do I launch this widget? That is, check it visually, connect some data to it, see how it behaves in runtime?What do I need to do for this? Download the Thingworx locally and import the build of my new widget into it? Or are there any other ways? Thanks in advance!

Curious if anybody has attempted a connection to an Azure Cosmos database with ThingWorx. To fetch the data from the cosmos database. What are the different approaches to connect the cosmos database with ThingWorx We are fairly certain that we'll need to create an extension, but if anybody has any experience with it, any advice would be greatly appreciated.       Thanks!

Hi,  I created a custom table widget ,  the widget can bind data and display well .  When the table row get selected , I can get the selected row(s),  but  how can I set the  rows to  the binding service's "Selected Row(s)" ?   I can defined a JSON property as selected value,  but I prefer the standard mashup  binding style for selected rows.      Regards, Sean

Hi,   So although there is a filter widget in thingworx I would like to create a different view for the filters to be displayed,like in the picture below.Is it possible for be to achieve this using existing query services?And any idea of how I could incorporate the attached Filter Display in ThingWorx?  

Hi , So I have a list which I want to act as a filter such that based on my selection the grid displays on those data.For eg.I select company ABC ,only those rows of company ABC are displayed on the screen and when selection is removed it goes back to displaying the full list.   Now I have two Things that share the same company name ABC,and as it is a dropdown it show "ABC" twice in the list.As I have a filtering purpose the name being displayed once is more than enough,so is there a way I can make it display only once so as to reduce extra list rows and improve the UI.   Please refer image for better understanding,also I have bound the dropdown lists and the grid to a thing template which is the base for all the things.  

Hi.   I currently have set up a Navigation widget, so that once it's clicked, a popup mashup appears. I'm interested to have this popup display automatically between certain times of the day. How can I achieve this?   I was thinking of creating a service that checks whether the current time is within the time interval in which the popup should be displayed. But I can't bind the Service Invoke Completed event to the navigation event of the widget, because it would always display the popup when the service would run.    I was thinking into exploring custom events, but I don't understand why an event needs a Data Shape assigned to it.  My second question is whether customn events can help me here, because I think I can create a custom event (why assign a data shape to it, though?) and call the custom event through the if-else loop that checks whether the current time is within the time interval that the popup should be displayed. But if I do that, there's no way I

Hello,   I am having an issue with the proportional chart, I am using it horizontally and set the chart max to be 100. All of my data sets go from 0 to 100 yet the grid shows up to 120 and the bars do not fill the entire chart. I have tried increasing my data set to go from 0 to 120 but the grid just shows 140. Has anyone run into this issue and found a resolution?

Hi All   I am trying to integrate Google maps widget in my mashup. To do so I have already imported the widget package in Thingworx composer. To continue using it I suppose we have to enter the Javascript URL with app key under System -> Subsystem ->Platform Subsystem -> Required string to connect with Google for Google widgets field I am not able to locate the string field  Is there a way around for the same?   Regards
