I need to display the values of current, voltage and power in time series chart based on the check box selection. How to do this?. i) If I select Current, only Current values will be displayed in time series chart. ii) If I select Current and Voltage, both the values should be displayed in time series chart.  iii) If I select Current, Voltage and power all the values should be displayed in time series chart. iv) If I deselect any one it should not be displayed in the chart. I have designed up to this and stuck after this,                        

My industrial thing is connected from Kepware to  thingworx  but while inheriting remote thing from industrial thing is not connected  i.e in industrial thing if i select discover in that selecting channel >>device>>tags and then manage binding and creating a remote thing it is not connected in thingworx. I have checked there is no problem with Application Key too. What can be the issue for remote thing not connected when industrial thing is connected Can u please provide a solution ...

Hi, Is it not possible to render a drop down based on state formatting? I created a new state definition and when I tried to bind it to the drop down to change color of one particular text that I am getting from drop down, it doesnt show any option for state formatting. There is a property 'List format' which opens only the rendering but not state.  How can I set the state formatting to a drop down? Thanks, Shalini V.

Here is the situation: I'm using a collection widget which displays a group of mashups for the user to select between (collection because different users will have different options) The repeated mashup in the collection contains the mashup name (in text) and a button to "navigate" to that mashup. This button triggers a Navigation function on the contained mashup. The contained mashup has a mashup parameter for the Mashup Name to navigate to, and I've bound that parameter to the "TargetMashup" property in the navigation function. Clicking the button in the contained mashup of the collection is not sending me to the navigated page.  What I've checked so far: Mashup trace is showing the Navigation function as "ServiceInvoked" but it is never completed. In the Tomcat Security Considerations it's recommended to start Tomcat with the Security Manager. However, when I startup Tomcat with the security option I get an error containing 'java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.lang.RuntimePermission" "modifyThread")' when trying to read the platform-settings.json.   Are there any templates / best practices for how to configure the catalina.policy file with the ThingWorx webapp?

Hi, I have an functional EMS with LSR running in a Linux Docker-container which is connected to my Thingworx platform; it's working fine so far. Currently I'm trying to configure a Remote-Thing which contains a service that executes HTTP requests to an third-party endpoint. So that I can lookup the resulting data in my Thingworx platform.   My problem is, that I don't know how to write an REST requests with the libraries given with the LSR. The examples of Lua-REST calls that I've found so far require additional libraries (or modules) of which I also don't know how to implement them in the EMS/LSR environment.   Does anyone have an working example of an remote thing with an defined service that executes a simple http-requests? Is this even possible with the standard LSR or does it need additional modules?

I need users to be able to enable/disable Things with a toggle button.  Is there a way to check if a Thing is enabled/disabled?

Hello,   I have installed Foundation, now I am working on installing Analytics. I got what i believe are the needed data (Key ID and Thingworx IP address.   I have attached screenshots of what I used and the error messages I got.   Any advice will be appreciated.   Best, Ghandour

Re:  post   Thanks for following up @slangley    I did what you described and I think I have been able to reproduce that behavior. Please find my test mashup attached but according to my experience this can happen any time on any entity. Also attached are the log files. When I started testing I have seen some entries in ErrorLog concerning missing entries, the messages have been correct (annoying though) and can be ignored from my point of view. Thus I entered several blank lines and a comment in line 2686: "!!! 09.03.2020 15:29, manual entry by Benjamin Beuck SIG"Everything after that comment may be relevant, I can see some timeout messages. My actual testing started a little earlier than 15:29 but only after that time I can quite safely say I was able to reproduce it.   How I managed to reproduce it:1. Open a mashup in Tab12. Hi, having trouble trying to import the Frame Layout extension to one of our Thingworx servers. We have a number of test servers where I was able to import the extension without any issue. However, when I try to import it to our 'live' server it does not import and shows the following error in the logs. The extension 'FrameLayout_ExtensionPackage' version [1.0] must match the "major.minor.patch" pattern containing only integer values. Assuming a zero value for patch number. Please fix this in the metadata.xml file of the extension. It passes the validation test prior to trying to import, but then fails on the actual import. All the servers are running the same version of Thingworx ( 8.2.8-b856).  I've seen previous posts refer to the platform settings json file, but all of ours are the same (None of them include the "ExtensionPackageImportPolicy".    Would anyone have any thoughts on what might be happening here, or ways around this? Trying to install ThingWorx Foundation using the installer provided.  MSSQL server has been setup using these instructions https://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/172634/en/Getting_Started_with_MS_SQL_Server_and_ThingWorx_1.pdf The Install builder is giving me an error at the ThingWorx Foundation for MSSQL Setup part. At this point after I enter all the server connection/login information and I hit next I get this error  "thingworx database has tables prior to ThingWorx installation. Please drop tables or use a different database." I also tried creating a new database and giving it a different name (thingworkx instead of thingworx) but that didn't help either. I am really new to the ThingWorx world so any help is greatly appreciated. See screen shots for reference. I found one article but that was for PostgreSql and now MSSQL. Hi Experts,   I have an requirement in my project for creating PDF from runtime mashup.  Earlier we have PDFExtension in market place but now came to know its removed due to security reasons.
