Hi together, despite some issues with the Tutorial for guides/thingworx-raspberry-pi-quickstart (full configuration examples of config.json, config.lua are incomplete regarding ssl settings) I got my EMS up and running and connecting successfully to my Thingworx Development Trial environment. hello   days before, i reinstall my system,from win7 to win10, both of which is 64-bit.and i am able to enter the ThingworxFoundation on win7.   after i settle all the settings, i found i can't enter ThingworxFoundation.after i reinstall the Tomcat serval times, i verify that i install Tomcat8 successfully by enter localhost:8080.   but when i put the Fadation files into their palce, and re-start Tomcat, i can't even enter Tomcat, neither at the port 8080 nor port 80.     here are some logs files in Tomcat before setting the Thingworx and after it.   Please help Kind regards Minnan

Hi, I have installed the ThingWorx analytics trial version for 8.2 which runs on Docker for Windows. After launching the analytics builder using the below URL I am trying to configure the analytics server. I am not getting a verification confirmation message as expected. My analytics server and microservices are running fine. although. Hi all,I install Creo View Express 4.1 and ThingWorx 7.1.2-b6. I import the Creo View Widget into ThingWorx. But when I view the mashup, the browser reports me an error: An installation of PTC Creo View is required in order to use this Widget.How can I solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

Hi, I created a blog and I tried to insert a picture and clicked on the insert picture option on top but it doesnt work. Should I write any service for it to work?  My scenario is like: When I click New post I must be able to attach a picture or paste screenshot and write about it. How can I make it work? I put this here as I couldn't find the product ideas section for twx: In 8.3 you decided to hide properties behind a chevron on right side, thereby adding a lot of clicks and mouse moving for the users. But no space is saved, as the line where the chevron is, is empty otherwise.  Please bring back the former UI where everything was visible in the first place.  

hello:   i tried sereval days to install the AnalyticsTrialEdition but failed a number of times.   i work on win 7, and i use docker toolbox.   it will occur this when installing ThingworxFoundationH2                                                   and sometimes it stuck in creating container like this                                                   i attach this issue to setting of docker.i think i should have docker configurated but i didn't.   Please help Kind regards Minnan

we made chart like following picture. a chart get about 5000~10000 data. and divide 500 row using some rule sometimes when i call this service, thingworx display error log "com.mchange.v2.async.ThreadPoolAsynchronousRunner$DeadlockDetector@7345aa02 -- APPARENT DEADLOCK!!! Hi, I have a thing that captures the running status of machine from kepware. The value is of boolean type. I wanted to send a email to specific email address when the value changes to '0' saying Machine has stopped. Using alert what should i give as source and should I create a new thing using mailserver as template? How can I do this?   Thanks, V Shalini.

Are you able to subscribe to the update of a ValueStream that is assigned to a Thing to store the information of logged properties? The DataTable entity has 4 additional events that monitor for updates, deletions, etc. However the ValueStream does not have anything similar.

Hi, We are having a mashup showing grid column. The numeric values in grid are hyperlinked(using <a href=""></a> tag of HTML in thingworx service) to show a new mashup from it.On click on the numeric value, the new mashup opens but it asks for thingworx user credentials the first time. In order to prevent the same we are planning to pass application key along with the url in hyperlink. But the url including the appkey will be displayed in the mashup url, please let us know if there is any other option to prevent entering the credentials.

Hello together,   i am currently experimenting with the Java-SDK for Thingworx. I want to raise events in the edge device from the Thing in the thingworx platform. Is that possible? And another thing i want to do is to subscribe an attribute of a thing and get an event thrown in the edge device whe it is changed in the thingworx platform.   I already looked into a few threads but nothing helped me. I already tried it with the subscription handler from here:  https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/Extension-Thingworx-Event-Subscription/m-p/519462/highlight/true#M14937   But it is not working, the subscription handler is not called.   I hope that somebody can help me.

Hi!   I am newbie Thingworx...    I have a question, in C-SDK example SteamSensor, this example explains about just one thing 'SteamSensor'.   I need to make(create) thing on client program, if thing which have specific name is not exist in server.   I couldn't find solution on C-SDK document... Is there any way to do it?

Hello, I need to add couple of new properties to my Things at run-time. To achieve this I have tried using "AddPropertyDefinition" service from my composer environment. I am using ThingWorx 8.1.0. The execution of this service does not return any error, but does not give the expected output as well. Dear all, I have several problems with timeseries chart V2, as you can see in the attached image.     In details: the tooltip is far from the mouse pointer (tips: I'm using a Collection widget, if I try to remove the Collection there is not problem) there is no way to set the time format in the tooltip (I need italian translation and format) the localization system is not working; as you can see the (default) words timestamp and value are not translated. I'm using Thingworx 8.2.5-b252 and Custom Charts 3.0.1.   Best regards Gianpiero
