I am using FTHistorian ThingWorx Configuration to connect Osi Pi Historian to ThingWorx it was running fine on friday but on monday it was disconnected I investigated and found the following problem.the service Factory Talk Historian ThingWorx Connector is not running and can't be started.if I tried to start it I am getting the messages in the attachment.does anybody know how to fix it?

Dear Thingworx community, today we deployed Thingworx 9.3.5 to a productive platform. When testing all features I noticed a bug and after some investigations I am pretty certain this is not a bug on my end but Thingworx. We have a user dedicated to run internal Services, called twxServiceUser. This user is supposed to use the local language since we print screens and send it via mail. I have checked this multiple times, reset and set the language (through script and manually in Composer), the preference for this user (in the today's case) is "de", as it should be. Also the printouts appear in German language. But when calling the Service  let langs = Resources["CurrentSessionInfo"].GetCurrentUserLanguage(); by Script I get back an empty string instead of "de".  So I came here / google and searched for this issue, I might not be the only one. Hello,I need your help for a problem on my project (thingworx 9.1)1- I have a subscriber to mqtt (SubscriberThing, +  valuestream to store data) 2- Received messages are parsed to infotable (ParserThing +  valuestream to store data)  i have a subscription on ParserThing  triggred when SubscriberThing receive a new mqtt message. I log all properties of SubscriberThing and ParserThingwhen i querypropertyhistory i got a logic result on SubscriberThing (timestamp change every second en average)However, on ParserThing all data are like stored on temporary memory and after some minutes they are stored one time to the value stream of ParserThing Logically, the i should get a new row each time ParserThing triggred! but no.The graphic attached show the evolution of data on SubscriberThing. you can see that each period all data en temporary memory are stored one time. I find no explanation for this behavior! Any help

Hi members of the PTC community, I have a couple of questions regarding trying out the products and solutions of PTC. Basically, my company is exploring some possible directions for innovation, one of which is IIoT, and to verify the feasibility of the said direction we are thinking about creating interconnectivity and interoperability for the heterogenous devices in our new headquarter. Some of the products from PTC catch our eyes, including Kepserverex and Thingworx Foundation. For Kepware I can easily find the download link for the trial version of Kepserverex and it works like a charm, so I can get a grip of what IS Kepware and understand what it is for. But for Thingworx Foundation, I don't even get the foggiest idea of what IS this, as I can't find any information about where to try out Thingworx or purchase it and the only official trial link for trying out Thingworx has been shut down as early as January 2022. Hello Team,Some of my sql services takes much time to load and it gives following error Error : "Execution of Script terminated after : 89 seconds. Timeout configured for 60 seconds."For this I need to increase service execution time for this 2 approaches I know :1) Sql Service ---> Service Info ---> Time out Interval (sec)2) Platform-settings.json ---> define script Time-outq1) In my case we have not defined any script time-out in platform-settings.json file. What is the default timeout interval taken in this case ?q2) From Thingworx composer, how can we view service/script time-out details ?  Regards,Sid  

For one of our client we need to follow an architecture where Thingworx will be using Influx DB as a persistence provider. As per PTC document, Influx DB is not supported on windows machine. For internal testing purpose can we use dual boot machine and  install Influx db on unix side for storing time series data and rest will be stored on windows postgre sql as Thingworx app is already installed on windows machine. Just wondering if this architrcture is possible in practical. Any thoughts would be greatful. Regards,Sid 

How can I get Thingworx Remote Thing Property Change History details : From Thingworx Composer---> Remote Thing ---> Change History Tab/Page I am able to view last few days entry only but I need to check past 3 years data what all new properties were added and which user added those properties. Per best practices when creating an extension, I created a Permission Editing Service to run after import. As I have a lot of Templates and Shapes, I used a lot of Instance Permission Setters. These worked as intended and the Template and Shape Permissions have been set properly. My problem is that they do not appear to be updating the Instanced Things' Permissions that I need them to; these permissions are blank. Is this normal? Does it not matter that the Instanced Things don't have an updated Permissions list? Do the Instance Permissions only work in certain scenarios? What should be my next course of action? Do I need to bite the bullet and update the Instanced Things' Permissions individually?

We are having a mashup with Image and shape. Please refer below, Here Green and Red are shape widgets placed on top of Image widget. The mashup tree as follows, Here is my question, As we know field set is kind of panel so that is static. But, we are in need to make responsive mashup with image and shape widgets. Is that possible? any workaround there?   I referred following posts/articles, it seems not possible to do. Z-Index in Responsive Mashup Overlapping widgets - "Container supports only one responsive widget" Please suggest any idea or workaround.

Hello, My company is developing an IIoT Lab using the Thingworx platform + Extensions.Our objective is to learn and demonstrate internally the power of the PTC solutions. We will use this Lab to gather new projects, using it for demonstrations to our clients. We already imported many demos that we could find here and that are demonstrated here.We couldn't help but notice that some demos are using the SCP Accelerator, even though information regarding its installation and configuration are hard to find. So our question is:The SCP Accelerator is still an active offering from PTC? We started doubting it after seeing this post on the community and this post of the field academy news saying some training related to SCP is being retired.In case the product is still up:How can we request an evaluation?Is there a documentation for its configuration and installation, as for other products in here? 

I am working on a mashup and one of the things we would like to display is if a factory floor machine is up. We would like to determine this by pinging the IP address of the machine. We would also like to use this process to check the status for other devices that are on the factory floor. Is there any way to have a mashup ping an IP address? If so, where can I find information on how to do this. If not, what are some options people have used to try to determine if a machine / device is reachable?  I don't have much Thingworx experience and apologize if this is something that has been answered before. Thanks,John       

Hi all, I'm testing the Store and Forward feature in KepserverEx. The idea was to test whether it is possible if the data stored in local disk whenever the connection between KepserverEx and Thingworx is down, can trigger a DataChange Event on Thingworx to execute a service once the connection is restored. The service is to process the raw data from Kepware and store it to our DB. To test the accuracy of the data, we also logged it using Value Stream in Thingworx. According to this article, this scheme should work. Based on our test, we found that the value stream worked properly and the DataChange event triggered the execution of the service. But, for the data that was forwarded from the storage (it was stored due to disconnection between Thingworx and Kepware), rather than executing the service for each value that triggers the DataChange event, we saw duplicate results in our DB. We have several instances of ThingWorx and would like to utilize Azure Key vault. Is there a built in way to easily integrate ThingWorx to read from Azure Key Vault? We have enterprise databases used across instances, so when we migrate each one from Dev/Test/Prod we need to update the passwords. Unfortunately we are unable to use Solution Central.

Hi PTC community & friends, Recently, I have tried to upgrade my Java version to 11 from Java version 1.8 and new JRE 11 folder is available under java folder just like how Java 1.8 version used to be. I have modified the Tomcat JVM path after upgrade to new Java 11 path upto jvm.dll.. I have set the JAVA_HOME variable and PATH variable as suggested in thingworx 9.3 upgrade documentation.  After all the above steps, when I tried to start tomcat via service, It fails to start. Upon checking on system event logs. I see following message as below "The Apache Tomcat 9.0 Tomcat9 service terminated with the following service-specific error:The system cannot open the file." Please provide your inputs.
