Previously, the "Add New Participant" button was missing, which I have successfully resolved by setting the JNDI Adapter to ReadOnly=false. However, I am now encountering a persistent error when attempting to create a new user directly from the Windchill Participant Administration. Current Error Message:[LDAP: error code 19 - 00002081: AtrErr: DSID-03151F00, #1: 0: 00002081: DSID-03151F00, problem 1005 (CONSTRAINT_ATT_TYPE), data 0, Att 3 (cn)]. Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: List All workspaces with its size (and User / Context)Description: I want to have a list (per user) of all workspaces together with their sizes.Over here there are some topics about it, but i followed this Support Article: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS412883The initial part workout. I got now al list of all workspaces with their corresponding user and workspace. But i am unable to figure out how i can add the size per workspace to it. I have tried to add `EPMSupporting data` (`EPMSupporting data.Data`)and that looks more like the blobname or so. Any ideas how to do this? If not plain "reportable item" workflow a little explenation help I'm not that deep in sql or java

Hi. We are currently planning to move our Windchill Virtual server to updated Nutanix hardware. To do this, we need to change the IP address of the server itself. No other changes are being made. Can you tell me if you can foresee this IP change having any negative effect on the operation of the Windchill application? Thank you.

Hello, after transfering to creo 11 from creo 7 there were problems with model tree. It was always slow if there were at least one parameter shown in the tree. We've changed creo 11.0.3 to 11.0.7 and it fixed problem in Creo but not in Creo View 11.1.What should we do now?  

Does anyone have a crafty solution to define or change the Name of the Windchill server in Windchill Workgroup Manager (WGM) without user intervention?    I am using Windchill Workgroup Manager v13 with Solidworks and would like to update the installation process with the silent installation method deployed in Windows Intune.    The Windchill Workgroup Manager supports the ability to define a default Windchill server URL, but it does not support an entry to define the Name of the default Windchill server in the wgmclient.ini file. When a default Windchill server URL is defined, the Name is automatically set to the domain of the server URL. I would much rather have a descriptive string assigned to the Name and cannot find a way to do this.    If we were using Creo Parametric, I could create a mapkey to change the name, but I am not aware of any mapkey, scripting or trail file execution in the Workgroup Manager client.

Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: WGM 13.1.2.0 with Solidworks 2024SP5.0. Opening an NX assembly (version compatible for import) in Solidworks through the workspace doesn't display any bodies. The same assembly - when exported from the workspace to a local drive - opens fine. Description: One of my engineering teams started using Solidworks. I prepared a WGM 13.1.2.0 installation to work with SW2024SP5.0. Most of our CAD data is in NX. Immediately we notice that when trying to open an NX assembly, Solidworks doesn't display any bodies but does display the structure.    However, when we export the NX assembly out of Windchill and open it in Solidworks from C:\ drive, everything opens just fine.    First pass tech support with Solidworks suggests this is a PTC problem on account of the NX assembly opening fine from a local drive.    Has anyone run into this issue? Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: Solidworks - saving assembliesDescription: In solidworks, saving an assembly prompts to save all other parts - unless they are set to read-only, and in "system options" -> "External references" it is checked that "Dont prompt to save read-only referenced documents (discard changes)". Saving the assembly and parts, prompts windchill to either "Check out", "Revise and Check out" or "Continue" on the files that are being saved. Per this old thread (Read Only object and assembly saving problems - PTC Community), locking the files in the WWGM, should set them as read-only, and force Solidworks not to try and save them.But - This does not seem to work for us! The files are correctly marked  in the solidworks add-on as locked/read-only, but the saving prompt does not show them as read-only, and still saves them. The WWGM prompts the same 3 choices, and removes the lock, and saves the modifications locally, when "Continue" is set.&n

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.2.0We installed Windchill PDMLink 13.1 using the PTC Solution Installer (PSI). Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: In BOM Transformer, I want to create a New Downstream Part, using a Part Subtype that has already been created in Type and Attribute Management. However, the part drop down list isn't populating.Description: I have already created a new Part Subtype as a Site Admin and I want to use it as a new Downstream Part in the BOM Transformer. However, the dropdown list is only showing the very top level PART as an option. Is there a setting or something I am missing to allow all of the subtypes to be shown?
