I want to add a dropdown that I created to the toolbar, how can I do it?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS F000when setting an attribute constraint on Name (String length ) it applies to all the layouts except MAPSB layout for example New Downstream Part creation .

Hello, I am using creo parametric and windchill and I would like to open version C.10 (current version is C.15) and save it as newest one since I would like to "delete" previous checked in vesions. I am trying to do it with a clean workspace and then - history - version C.10 - add to workspace but I keep getting version C.15 when the file opens up... Does anybody know how to solve it?  Thank you in advance, 

On a third-party site, we display a list of drawings from Windchill. Tell me, please, are there ready-made solutions so that you can view a thumbnail of a drawing on a third-party site?       Now I use the REST API to first get the ID by designation, and then get the visualization by drawing ID  

Currently Alternate and Substitute feature/ functionality is enabled only on PDMLink and not in Projectlink.   As Projectlink is used for design collaboration/supplier collaboration etc., how to handle the needs of alternate , substitute (collaboration needs) in the projectlink .       It would be good to enable the Alternate , substitute functionalities  in Projectlink 

Hi. I'm quite new to MPMLink, bear with me please. 1. To my understanding, usually most subassemblies end up being manipulated in mBOM. Taking a long time horizon we can expect that many will have to have their components moved around assembly line/cell therefore it's fine to just duplicate assemblies with propagation, or is it not?  2. Manufacturing view usually should not be applied to bottom level items (single, inseparable components) unless necessary for some reason, right? However I can't see how one would work with big assemblies when there's no way to exclude parts from "duplicate with propagation" choice when creating a new branch. 3. What is the right way to introduce MPMLink (right now only mBOM creation) to corporation with thousands of assemblies? To make it simpler:I wish to create an mBOM out of several assemblies (there's no single eBOM of a final product). Hi. I've started research associated with MPMLink implementation in our system but I ran immediately into an issue with privileges. I'd like to make it easier for the administrator to set the correct ones for me, therefore I wish to know which set of privileges allows full and partial access (with description) to MPMLink capabilities.  I already have the MPMLink module license.  a) I can create a downstream branch for an already existing Configurable Module part type, but: - "duplicate with/without propagating" options result only in the configurable module duplication anyway. I have to add subassemblies (WTParts) manually.b) I can not create a downstream branch for any WTPart, even if it's under a Configurable Module part. Can i use different parameters to set the CAD IDW part number when using save to workspace or import to workspaceWe currently have this preference on (To handle legacy data with file names that don't represent our part numbers) Numbering Parameter (Doesn't distinguish between initial save or initial upload)Specifies the CAD tool designated parameter or property attribute from which the CAD document number is copied during initial upload. 

OK... So here is an example of where it would be great to keep good notes as an admin... but failed to do so... I have a Promotion Request Subtype created some time ago.  And in certain products, i must have been able to set the Subtype as the default upon Promotion Request Creation.  And now... for the life of me.  I cannot remember how I accomplished this!  I want to change it back to the Parent Type! Thanks in Advance!

Hi! No users are added to any of my organizations.I have been pulling my hair out for over a month regarding this issue. I have these three organizations. I'll only keep the first one, the other two were created while I've been testing different solutions. The first one "iei" was created during setup, and is the one I want to keep. When adding my user as a participant, it's missing organization: Other information such as phone number and email is added. From info*engine: Can anyone see anything I'm doing wrong?

Team, Would it make sense to use Tableau to create a dashboard that displays Windchill stats? Tableau would possibly access the WC ODATA REST API using https://www.tableau.com/developer/tools/web-data-connector. Has anyone got a start on developing a connection like this? Otherwise I would start from scratch. What would be the biggest challenges in this project? cheers -- Rick

I don't have a license for windchill PLM so I would need something available on the web. Where can I see API docs?

Hello, I am using REST to query WTParts. I currently filter for name, number and a specific type id.I also need a filter to search for all iterations of all versions instead of only the latest one.I tried providing a navigationCriteria but I actually do not know what to put in here. Does anyone know how to filter for latestVersion? Best regards

Hello. Please help with advice. I set up a worker to process assembly models. Each job stops executing at the stage "Loading *.asm". No further execution, I waited more than 5 hours. Please tell me what the stage "Loading *.asm" depends on and how I can influence the speed of execution?  

Guten Tag,does anyone tried to force Windchill create STEP representation converted to middle dimbounds?According to our norms/rules we use nominal dim tolerances like 10,5+0,2 and in that way it is saved in Creo and WCH. Then STEP representation in WCH is always created from this default model value 10,5 as nominal.When our suppliers asking for STEP converted to middle bounds (dim is changed to 10,6±0,1) we have to open Creo, convert model to middle and store it as STEP manually which is pain.Is there a way how WCH user can generate STEP without opening Creo and converting CAD from nominal to middle manually?

Have you started using Jasper reporting in Windchill? What are some things you can do with Jasper that you couldn't do without it? From the little bit of digging I've done so far, it looks like Jasper mostly allows you to customize the format of the output. I'd be interested in hearing any success stories.

I have just discovered the "Release Changeables" activity, in the Change Notice workflow, will terminate any existing running workflow on any of its Resulting Objects. These are workflows in which its primary business object is a Resulting Object (eg a wtpart) on the Change Notice.   More specifically it is this line of code that is doing this: com.ptc.windchill.pdmlink.change.server.impl.WorkflowProcessHelper.releaseChangeables((wt.change2.WTChangeOrder2)primaryBusinessObject);   Setting the com.ptc.windchill.pdmlink.change.server.impl.WorkflowProcessHelper.releaseChangeables logger to debug and the running the WorkflowProcessHelper.releaseChangeables(ecn) results in "Attempting to terminate workflow process..." lines in the MethodServer log. eg: 2022-09-09 11:21:45,071 DEBUG [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8010-exec-1] com.ptc.windchill.pdmlink.change.server.impl.WorkflowProcessHelper wcadmin - Attempting to terminate workflow process for: wt.epm.EPMDocument:24392792692022-09-

I am trying to add Custom Attribute to CreateMultiplePart Wizard . This attribute is a picker . Based on the selected Type of WTPart Part , it should populate the Attribute "Parent Part" , where User should be able to search the parent part Name  . CreateMultiplePart Wiz 's defineItem.jspf page controls the wiz definition . Any changes there , also gets applied to CreateNewPart wiz. Please suggest a right approach . 

the Customer has an activity status report with Project, PlanActivity, ResourceAssignment types. In this report, she would like to calculate durations (estimated finish - estimated start - nonworking days) and also overdue activities (today - estimated finish - nonworking days). But on report she can see total days including the nonworking days. The Question is : how we exclude them?   Please check the attachments for more details about the report at hand.

Hi, We use windchill 10.1 M040, now we facing a request with epmdocument publish, some Creo drawing(.drw) has representation already, users want system gererate extra both .pdf and .dxf automatically. We have built worker for this purpose but didn't know how to do it by WVS Job Scheduler Administration, is anyone could do me a favor ?
