I want to edit the data in the cells of Collection widget on the click of a Button, as similar to the Grid Widget which as an feature Editable. Does Collection widget has some feature like that, or is there any other solution to edit it ?Thanks & Regards,  Shashi Preetham.

I am having issues getting the expdp command to work for doing a backup to the Windchill Oracle database.   Does anyone have a batch file for configuring the options of the expdp and then running it that they would be willing to share. Dear all,I'm trying to hold "design" selection for attribute "View" during the creation of a part in Windchill 10.1 v M040. There are two views, Design and Manufacturing.View attribute does't support default option. If I remove the attribute from the "Create New Layout", its value is unassigned; and it's can't be accetped.I followed this article:https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS286220? but it does't work. Probably there is something in system configuration that collides with the provided solution . Do You have any suggestions?Tnx

Hello all,   In Windchill 11.1 the cascading attribute feature is available for Parts, Documents and Change objects types only. Have anyone managed to do a customization so that to extend this feature in Project object type or other object type?   Is it possible to do it?    Thank you  in advance

Okay,  This has to be something simple I am missing...   I am trying to set state in a workflow to Under Review and it isn't performing that action.  The workflow completes successfully, and does not hang, but the state isn't changed.

I am having trouble remembering how to add a context (Product) to the list of contexts.  I am setting up a new user and I can not remember how to add to this list for when I am creating a new workspace.  Any help on this issue would be great.  I am adding a screenshot of what I am trying to do. Hello!I have a listener in Windchill and have figured out how to catch 2 of of 3 events when it comes to rename in Windchill 10 M030.To catch a change of filename aka CADName I listen for:EPMDocumentManagerEvent.PRE_CHANGE_CAD_NAMETo catch a change of NUMBER I listen for:IdentityServiceEvent.PRE_CHANGE_IDENTITYHowever to listen for a change of NAME I'm stuck.Does anyone have an idea what to look for?It looks as if I can obtain this using: PersistenceManagerEvent.POST_STOREBut I believe this is a little late in the chain since I plan to stop the transaction if some criteria are met and that would probably result in a rollback.Any help is appreciated! Good afternoon:Can anyone guide me to how I can load a previous version drawing and corresponding assembly model into workspace?I know how to look at the history tab in the drawing information but I don't know how to open it in Creo.When ever I try to open a previous version, the drawing updates with the latest part models.I need the models at the version where the drawing assembly was saved, not the latest.Creo 2.0 (M090) and Windchill PDM Essentials 10.2 (M010).Thank you.~Benito.

Previous posts are getting marked as spam? Seems PTC doesn't want the word out that their programs don't work. Oh well, here we go again! Third time at trying to post this. All I'm looking for is help, guys!   I am running Creo 5.0.4.0 with Windchill 11.1 on Windows 10.1 This issue was first discovered while I was running Creo 5.0.0.0 on Windows 10.1. After upgrading to Creo 5.0.4.0, the issue was fixed for about a week. Since then, the issue has come back and I cannot check-in through the embedded Windchill browser on Creo.   I have run into an issue where I am unable to check-in, revise, or set state of files when the operation is done from my workspace or Windchill Commonspace. However, I am able to check-in by opening parts in Creo, and using the manual File>Check-in option.   At first I thought it was just being slow. I let it sit over the weekend and the loading wheel never stopped. It seems like the embedded browser is getting "stuck" after I click the check-in

Hi,I am trying to create automated testing system for the Windchill using selenium.I am facing an issue, when I click on new part icon sometimes it pops up 2 window instead of 1 and some time it pops up Windchill Login dialog along with pop up.What could be the issue?This behavior is random.ThanksNikhil

I am having an INFOTABLE which I am giving an input to the COLLECTION widget using the service GetDataTableEntires.But all the cells in the COLLECTION widget are showing the same Data Repeatedly (Which is the last entered entry into the Database)Even though trying with Repeater Widget, the same thing is happening. Even the Repeater widget is showing the latest entry data in all the cells. 

Hi, I need to use the collection widget in two tabs of a tab widget.I had placed the collection in both tabs.but when I view the mashup it is displayed only in the default tab and in other tab it is not visible. can anyone please suggest a way to display it in both tabs?

Need a help here, can anyone please tell me how to retrieve workflow workItems for the given userId using OData out of the box API? I am able to filter data based on CreatedOn, but can't see any options to filter based on userId. I am still trying to get my hands dirty with the OData. Appreciate your help here.

Hi Community members,   I was hoping if one of you know, how to display Windchill MPMLink process plans and Operations data, 3D annotation sets in Thingview widget of custom mashup.   For now I can only get JPEG thumbnail image which is not useful, we need to get 3D annotation sets in GUI mashup.   Any suggestions and help highly appreciated.   Thanks, Rahul

PTC recommends that you keep an eye on the queues. Workflows are heavily dependent on queues to function.  There is good reason. Take for example this very useful OOTB expression robot: This robot sets the state of all the changeables on an EC.  The helper code from PTC will fail if items are checked out.  Users being users, often complete tasks with check out objects causing this robot to fail.  It is very tempting to just continue the failed task in the Process Manager or set the state manually.  This will leave the failed expression in the queue as a ticking timebomb, waiting for you to accidentally restart it.  What's the harm in that you ask? Let me tell you what happens... So you have a queue that looks like this: You are having workflow issues and PTC Tech Support recommends you restart all these Severe tasks (robots may be in another queue, I forget which, oh and BTW, this did happen).  The workflow has finished and your change notice is rel

Hello all, I hope you are great.   Any of you know if is possible for a product manager to have a view of the users that downloaded a file? What our product manager has in mind is a new tab in the document info where he can verify who download the document and maybe comments written by the user when the files was downloaded by the user.   Thank you in advance for any idea or suggestion?
