Hello, I have an attribute called 'sapnumber' that I use in both wtpart and cadpart.When a user creates a part and publishes it, they initiate an ECN and start the process of publication. I would like to update my sapnumber within the ECN process using an expression. The expression will be: sapnumber = (part number + -AA). However, I am constantly receiving an error with this expression. The expression I got the error from is attached. Can you help me?

How to check recently accessed projects by users in windchill 13,2 as a ADMINISTRATOR

Reading through this article: How to create an admin user in ThingWorx Navigate when there is no Administrator user in Windchill  In my case, I already had configured to authenticate to Windchill and one of my accounts had an alternate uid of Administrator. Login was fine, no issues. I am switching to SSO on Windchill side so my assumption would be I need a matching id of Administrator which I am hesitant to do. I have added two additional accounts to the Administrators group in Thingworx so I can use those to get into Composer and administer the system. The question is, if I make Administrator in able to be used, will I lose anything or not be able to do functions in Composer? If I need to, I could reconfigure authentication back to get back in but I prefer not to use this account if I do not have to. 

A000100108, 02.5 is the latest version of the CAD model in windchill, but when the user opens file from solidworks via workgroup manager it is actually shows old file, updates made in the 02.5 version is not visible & it shows 02.1 old version file. this issue is particularly happening to one user frequently in a random manner. even “out of date” icon is also not shown by windchill, but once we remove the file from workspace & add again it works fine, but our worry is design may lead to work with old files that would be a worst scenario.How this can happened, is there any known root cause please let me know team!With regards,Kanish kumar R

I'm a brand new Windchill user, so I'm still figuring out a lot of things. In particular, is there a way to still save files to my computer instead of to my workspace? I have an assembly saved to my computer, and I edited it a bit today, and now it won't update the file on my computer, it only saves the revision to my workspace.

I would like to find out if there is an ability to limit the number of people in a group. Description: I work at a multi-location organization where each location has their own budget/allocation of resources. We are looking at consolidating Windchill into a single instance, however the locations need to independently manage their allocation of licenses. My thought would be to have a group assigned to each location for each license, and limit the number of people that can be added to the group based on the number of licenses allocated to that location.   Thoguhts?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.0.0Unable to access windchill UI through browser or file explorer. It seems like within our windchill server, the service "Windchill PDMLink" automatically stops. If I start the service, it just goes back to stop. Attempted to start the service through command prompt as well as through Task Manager but it continues to switch to stopped.Here are the errors that I faced within windchill UI:Login Authorization FailedThe server could not verify that you are authorized to access this document. The credentials you provided are either invalid (for example, you entered the wrong password) or your password has expired. Hi @MikeLockwood, I have the same query in windchill 12.0.2. I want to link WTPart and WTDocument using described by and referenced by pattern. I saw the document you attached and I am wondering if same type of official document exists for Windchill 12. I tried to find if but I can't. We have created FVA field "Test Suite document short Title" and added in Testcases type and we configured the same field in query. Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I want to run the Siemens NX part_utility command on everything in my workspace.Description: I want to run the Siemens NX part_utility command on everything in my workspace, specifically "part_utility -managed_mode=no -d -cleanup".  This will do a part cleanup on every .prt file in the workspace directory.  It won't run in the PTC Places folder, since it's not a real directory, but navigating to the actual .wfs folder will allow the utility to run.  The problem is, Windchill doesn't see the files as modified, to allow me to check them in, even though the file date/time has been updated. What is the proper way to run these utilities on Windchill data in the workspace?  or do I have to export all of the data out, run the utility, and then import it all back into workspace?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.11For Manage Choices Wizard, there is a table builder invoked in that wizard. That table builder contains Tabs in it namely, Alternative parameter value, option code, Status parameter value, structure section value.
