Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: NX CAD worker (on VM). Just updated NX and went through the recipe and adapter files to confirm everything matches (ugworker.bat, ugstartup.bat, etc.) CAD worker fails to start from Worker Agent (monitor comes on). If I turn off the monitor there and manually launch ugworker.bat, everything works fine.Description: I updated my NX version on the CAD worker. The worker now doesn't start up automatically. The monitor starts but in the worker log there's a 8 INIT error. When I turn off the monitor and manually run the ugworker.bat file everything works fine.  When I did the upgrade, I updated the ugworker and ugstartup files to reflect the correct NX version. Not sure what broke the auto-start... but I'm sure it's something silly.  What did I miss? 

Do you have any idea how to pass parameter as input to jasper report input page.  

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: Importing a STEP214 into the NX workpart, stores the log file in WorkspaceDescription: I'm debugging an issue we have been having with STEP imports into the NX workpart.  During my testing, I wanted to take a look at the STEP log file.  I should always get a log file, and when I do it's in the Workspace.  How do I get rid of them?  Second, third, etc. attempts to do the sTEP import results in "already exists in Windchill File System". So how do I get rid of the log file?  I can browse to the PTC Places location in Windows Explorer, but I can't delete from there while WGM is running.  If I close WGM and browse to the .wfs workspace location, the log file isn't there.  If I run Windows Explorer as admin, and browse to the PTC Places workspace, I can't, due to permissions. How do people deal with log files in their workspace?

I'm trying to create a DevOps style of Windchill development and need some community guidance.In a nut shell, we have 9 Windchill developers and we are all doing both configuration (inside Windchill) and customization (directly on the servers). We are having to duplicate the work between development, test, and production servers which is a colossal waste of time. Also, we currently have very little controls in place and our customer wants us to do better... they suggested we use DevOps.I believe I can use a git repo to capture and apply server side changes but how do I capture configuration changes saved inside the Oracle DB and apply them to other servers that have their own, separate Oracle instances?

The WC wiz accidentally left an important WC document unpopulated with a dummy file. How do I upload my local content to that document? Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I am seeking to reroute the garbage collection logs to their own folder so the log folder only contains the other logs such as the method server and server manager logs.Description: I am looking to be able to keep my windchill logs in the log folder but re route the garbage collection logs to their own folder, is this possible? I assume there is a site.xconf property I can set? I am on windchill 12.027 with plans to upgrade in the future.

Hi All,As I using Upgrade Manager Windchill >> Upgrade when a module is missingFailed in Verifying upgrade path step(see atachments)Where I find or download  the installer PTC Windchill PLM Connector – Creo Package ? because in our Windchill 11.0 (source systems),its already installed.Based on Upgrade Manager Guide>> the required products (modules) installed on the source system are also installed on the target system. I want to attached a local file to EPMDocument in Winchill by RESTApis. But i can not see any document about this. When working around i see 2 possible ways Way 1: +> Find some way to upload the file to server's content cache. Then get the encodedCCD property+> Using encodedCCD to add to the request create EPMDocument. Does anyone know of a way to automatically place all new user accounts into a specific license group in Windchill 12? Currently we have to create the account in participant administration (Syncing it with our LDAP) and then take the extra steps of adding them to the 'PTC Navigate Contributor - Active Daily User License' group. Since this process is always the same, and occasionally forgotten, an automatic membership method  is preferable.

I am looking if someone has a good summary on these two Location declarations. In my journey to move to SSO, I've been trying to find the right balance, SSO for users, basic for non-users and integrations, trustedHost for CAD workers and Index Server, etc. Security is also on my mind, not allowing any additional attack vectors.  I came across article Windchill Authentication with a Host IP (Trusted Host) configuration is deprecated which gave me pause. I was also dealing with issues with ThingWorx Navigate called out in How to have basic authentication for some URLs when SSO is enabled. So just taking a moment to make sure I get things right and watch out for future changes.  From what I gathered from trustedHost entries and trustedAuth, it was an anonymous Location declaration which would allow unauthenticated access from any host or IP listed in trustedHost line.
