Hi there,   i have a rather complex model (assembly) which has more than 100 components (parts). Therefore I tried to reduce the size of it in Illustrate 6.0. In the end I have a PVZ sized 75.4MB. I opened PVZ with CREO View Express, works fine. Then I import the PVZ into Vuforia Studio (8.4.7.4459, with Chrome 76.0.3809.132) with Model widget. Nothing shows up in the Canvas. Preview, nothing there. Next, I just publish it. And I can see the PVZ model with View (8.4.7.2286) on my Android.   My question is, why the PVZ doesn't show up in the Canvas of Vuforia Stuio? How to make the PVZ appear so I can compose the content properly.   Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

When attempting to use VuForia Chalk I am able to successfully connect two IOS devices using cellular data.  When I attach both devices to our corporate network the call connects but no video or sound is available.  I have a feeling it has something to do with our firewall.  What do I need to allow in order to use chalk on the WiFi network?

Hello everyone,   I have a list in my AR-Experience which contains some names. I recognized that you can call a javascript function when a element is clicked.    How do I pass the value of the selected item to the javascript aswell? I tried to define the list itself as an application parameter but I can't find nothing about a method like "getSelectedElement" or similar.   Any help is appreciated very much!   Best Regards, Dominik

Hello,  I want to create Proportional chart or Progress bar in Vuforia Studio on 3D Eyewear project. Is there any way to create custom gauges in VS? I am using .SVG file for customized gauges but they are static. I want dynamic gauge. please find below image for reference.    

Hello Again,Im in trial with vuforia studio and thingmark.I do the mobile experience with my old VIVO 1611 (AKA. VIVO V5 plus) mid-range phone in early 2017I think all is work well with Vuforia Studio. Buti got the trial-phone that is SAMSUNG Galaxy note8. Its top-range phone in late 2017This phone is my company tool for test new app or anything company want.Different thing is performance resultMy VIVO make me feel better. - It can keep tracking mark in more far range. - less model shaking feeling.   I ever try with many my friend phone like Iphone8, Huawei P10, P20I think the different thing is auto-focus system in top-range phone make mark tracking go bad.I have some demo job with my customer, which is using the different phone (and more expensive than me).When my customer seen the shaking model, its funny.any suggestion to stop this issue?  

Hi,I am currently trying to add a function to my AR experience, which relates to a tutorial of how to fix a fault.I have successfully used a button to trigger a function, which will detect the external data whether stays within the acceptable range or not. If it's not, then some warning messages will be generated.Could I remove the button and the system will detect the external data in real-time?For example, if the data does not fall within that range, those warning messages will be shown automatically.

Could anyone explain if there is a way to set it that when you tick CAD optimisation when importing CAD it will only do the high and medium optimisation and not the low. My models are large and they get stuck on the low optimisation, so I want to remove it.   can I edit a file in the vuforia directory for instance?

How can see number of polygon in my scene ? I remember some number shown on right bottom while in preview mode, but now I can't see it.  Any idea how to enable it. 

Hello,   We use an on-premise experience server, so just about each time Vuforia Studio is updated we need to update the software on our experience server. Hello,   We have an on-premise experience server to store AR Projects published from Vuforia Studio. Through this community I learned that projects can be accessed via the file explorer as a sort of "back-door" method. This is helpful for a number of reasons. I ended up with a lot of projects, and in order to clean things up I transferred most of them to another folder to access later. I changed the folder names of some of them.   This is the problem -- I cannot delete them from the ES (experience server) anymore. Even when I remote-access the ES, find the project files, and delete them, they still show up in the library's list of options on the iPhone and HoloLens. There must be some hidden .json file on the ES that keeps a list of published AR projects. I need to access this and manually remove some entries. Has anyone tried this? Any ideas? Thanks.

  Hello, I have control i/o would like to make sample control from vuforia studioFirst Thing, I use Thingworx industrial connectivity get the i/o It's can show control from Thingworx platfrom panel   i/o will show the result when i written value direct to i/o     but I dont know how to make control from vuforia studio.I trial it from slide-bar which it give volume around 0-2   i use general service UpdatePropertyValues.bind the slidebar-value to service value give the event trigger when value change call service     And also to check the service is execute or not i bind service-update time to label text       Result of test, I think service is execute, but value i expect it can passed to my i/o is not workhow can i pass the data of slide-bar to my i/oThank you        

In Vuforia Chalk on iOS there is a "Join Session" button in the "My Contacts" section. Can anyone tell me how to use this? A 9-digit code is required and I am asking myself how to create/initiate such a session. We are using Vuforia Chalk for Business (as a PTC partner). Thanks for your help.

When scanning in the image target (and even after the scan), there's a green border that surrounds the object. I was just wondering if it's possible to change that color and/or make that border smaller/larger/translucent/not present, etc.

I uploaded a model and and used model item widget on some of the parts after which i labelled them. Then I selected preview button but my model was distorted in preview as well as in canvas.   Any suggestions why this is happening?

Is there some way to bind data from ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity to charts?   I have a mashup with several informations (already comunicating with my PLC throught of Industrial Connectivity).   I used this guide to try do it but in this case it just show how create chart with manual inputs and I want bind data from my Industrial Connectivity.   Does someone know about it?

Will the API available for Chalk? After the video calls, we would like to send the pictures to our server to save them. We also want to attach our our work order with the call and add the duration/initiator/receiver info. In addition, we would like to have the capability to save videos, not just pictures.  Please provide some feedback on these features. Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to use Video widget with mp4 file from experience server. when I do: $scope.setsrc=() => {$scope.view.wdg['video-1'].videosrc='/Thingworx/FileRepositories/UL.FileRepository/Vid_20190531_125615_1.mp4';} And then hit play it works fine in preview and Android, but on iOS I just can't make it work. (when I click play widget resets)    Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?   Kind regards

Hello All,   We are implementation vuforia ES On-premises so for that please can someone guide all its process, architecture diagram, Firewall rules (as on premise server to be host on internet - DMZ). If anyone implemented with firewall rule and DMZ network then please can you send its detail sequence and architecture diagram.   As a document, i got only installation/deployment pdf. I try application vuforia chalk on realwear-HMT1  (which is support vuforia view)while login is in progress, there is message"Oops! We can't generate your notification token. Give it a minute and try again. Still not working? Restart App and try again" i do restart and re-login many time it not workSo this mean vuforia chalk not support in HMT1 right?(vuforia chalk version is 2.6.4)it about my wearable device support i would purchase, please confirm

I have just one more question. I would be glad if you can help.   I have been trying to place a button at the bottom of 2D canvas and it is invisible till the time no selection is made. Now let's say I have selected 'suspension assembly' in the drop down menu so now I want that button to become visible and when pressed should be able to load 'Suspension_Exploded_Low.pvz'. And when I select another option such as 'Arm assembly' in the drop down menu and the button is clicked it should load 'Arm_Assembly_Exploded_Low.pvz'. Also the 'Suspension_Exploded_Low.pvz' file should hide as soon as I click 'Arm Assembly'.   And thanks once again for the previous reply.

The problem is whenever i drag and drop modelitem onto the part i want to rotate the coordinates are setting to middle of the arm and its rotation doesn't depict the movement of arm in actual. Please help me with solution.The picture shows the problem  

I can see .wrl is a supported CAD file format. Are VRML animations supported in Vuforia Studio and can I control where in the animation sequence I want to be?   Thanks
