Hello, I'm trying to create a pattern of slots where the center of the radius of the slot follows a curve but the spacing is driven by a linear dimension. Using Creo 10. Tried using pattern along a curve but the spacing distance is along the curve not linear. Unchecking the "Follow Curve Direction" allows the slots to remain parallel. Any suggestions? Thank you,Shane 

I have begun evaluating Creo 7 and have noticed that any mapkey that imports a config file is creating flashing windows when executed. These same mapkeys did not cause flashing windows in Creo 4.   I have the config option  visible_mapkeys no this has no affect on the behavior of these windows in Creo 4 or 7 in the context of the mapkeys in question. Does anyone have any idea as to why the windows are now visible in Creo 7? Any ideas on how to not have mapkeys create any visible windows unless pausing for input?   This is the mapkey that is the root cause of the behavior. Hi, I'm using Creo 11. I wish to know if it is possible to directly open a solidworks sldasm file and use the inseparable assembly/embed function so that I can keep all the data/childparts so that when I upload to windchill I only have the one assembly.

Is it possible to control the increment when using 3D Dragger to drag the section during creating Cross Section or to have a toggle in offset value area to increase or decrease the value for example by 0.5 or 1.

I’ve been searching for days and cannot find a solution. Mathcad Prime 11, Windows 10 (and 11 on another machine), MS365 current version fully licensed. I can usually insert an excel component into my worksheet. Any worksheet; new, old, etc. As soon as I create an input or output variable, the border around the component turns red and at the bottom I read an “Excel is busy…” error. Sometimes I get that error while trying to insert the component and it would let me do it. I’ve read all over that people are having this problem on various versions of Excel, Mathcad, Windows. None of the posted solutions seem to work for anyone, and none have worked for me. I believe way back when I was using Mathcad 15 this feature worked perfectly. Now it seems to be a problem that, although widespread, PTC says they cannot reproduce it on their systems. I find this hard to believe. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I created a table in Mathcad 8.0 by copy and pasting raw data (red outline in attached image) from Excel to Mathcad.  Now that I have the table created in Mathcad (blue outline in attached image), I want to overwrite it with new data (orange outline in attached image).  For whatever reason, copy and paste of the orange data does not seem to work when I try to paste into the blue outline.  What am I doing wrong?  I have tried to clear the cells in Mathcad first, to no avail.

I have had running Windows 10 and Creo 11.0.3.0.After I have upgrading Windows to 11, Ansys in Creo will not start. Creo stops with a fatal error. If I start Creo as an administrator, if runs with out problems. Does any of you know the problem, and that is it I shall have rights to? Allan

Hey there,Can anybody confirm that, is there any availibility of coding of any type in Mathcad Prime 7? (PS: I`m currently using Mathcad 11 and I have a client that uses Prime  and raised this question. See the attached screenshot.  I've reinstalled CREO view several times, checked the checksum, I really dont know what to do here. It's incredibly unreadable. Is there somewhere i can try an older version of CREO view?

I want to move my Mathcad Prime 3.0 license from one machine to another. I have the Service Contract Number (SCN), but not the product code required to proceed. Can I retrieve the product code from the SCN? 

I'm trying to export a drawing as a vector based PDF for suppliers to create files from. I have looked through all the export settings I can find:File>Save As>Type:PDF>Options>General/ContentFile>Save As>Export>PDF>Settings>General/ContentFile>Print>Settings>Print>Microsoft Print to PDF>Properties>AdvancedFile>Options>Configuration Editor>{literally anything to do with pdfs, vectors and rasters]ChatGPT suggested a number of options that don't appear in Creo 9.0 such as changing the 'Output Mode' to Vector, changing 'Raster Quality' and setting the PDF export method to 'PDF (2D vector)'. I feel like I've exhausted all the options I can find apart from maybe the strokes and pentable options but I think they'll still save as a raster without some other option checked. Does anyone have any guidance?

Hello,we are migrating from Creo9 to Creo10 but I have an issue with the embedded browser only when I open Windchill.When opening Windchill both Workspace and Commonspace, the browser resolution is very very small and vey difficult to read.   I've changed the DPI from the parametric.exe configuration but I either have this very small browser line or very blurred icons of the Creo software. For information I have no issue with the Creo9 we have used so far, same config, same DPI configuration, different outcome. Do you have any other suggestion about how to solve this issue? Thank you!BR,Giandonato

He recently changed his computer and needed a new license archive due to HOST ID Change. The license has been updated correclty for ProE Wildfire 3 and the soft is now working, but, se has a troubleshooting with his soft Concept. Electrical engneering uses RMS(Root Mean Square) values for the signal wave forms. Using the magnitude of the waveforms to be 1, rectangilar , sine and triangle waveforms show the RMS values 1/sqrt(1), 1/sqrt(2) and s1/qrt(3), respectively. I've consistently had this problem in Creo with curve patterns. You can see in the pictures that I have several sketches (3, 4, and 5) made to represent the horizontal curve of my bolting perimeter (shown by the rectangle). I'm doing this to control the bolt perimeter's major dimensions (length and width) but have the bolt hole pattern equally spaced along each side. I don't care about the hole center to center, I only care that they're equally spaced. The intuitive approach is to make a sketch with a projection of one of the rectangle sides as I've done with sketch 3. I then use a curve pattern to generate the instances, but to my dismay the start point is at the opposite end to where I made the original hole and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the start point. The inability to change the start point is very surprising considering most other features (sweep, datum point along curve) have the option to change start points. I'm writing a journal article and importing lots of MathCAD equations into Word (.  There's three ways to show a MathCAD equation, colon, control-equals or equals.  Only the equals key gives me a publishable equals sign (colon gives a colon-equals, shift-colon a bold equals)., but I can't use the equals key to show variables on both sides without one of the variables turning red ("This variable is undefined"), or if defined, other problems. Any ideas? ...Larry
