Hi could you help me to program this one?And the previous generated function works without m to (mod..).see the picture.
When I want to delete a part from a sub-BOM in an assembly in Creo, the part is not deleted from the BOM. What could be the reasons for this? Can you help me with this? Translated by the moderation using Google Translate -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Creo'daki bir montajda alt ürün reçetesindeki bir parçayı silmek istediğimde, parça ürün reçetesinde silinmez. Bunun sebepleri neler olabilir? Bu konuda yardımcı olabilir misiniz?
Hi there... I have a logo designed which I need to extrude onto the surface of a part. I have copied the font into the Creo 11.0.0.0\Common Files\text\fonts folder, and the font shows up in the Font list Sketching > Text dialogue box. I can write out the logo onto the surface, but it doesn't seem extrude. I cannot spot any node gaps either. The font is a really common Windows font: Berlin Sans FB. Is anyone able to see if you can extrude any words using this font? Unfortunately, this site doesn't allow me to attach a copy of the font but it should be in your Windows folder if you use. I'm really puzzled
I recently upgraded to Creo 9.0.1.0, and was working on a drawing when I started using the new Surface Finish workflow. I've asked a few other users around the office and no one can seem to figure out where the "placement" options went that allows you to to decide whether you want a leader, normal to entity, on entity, or free placement of surface finish. Does anyone know the answer to this? Screenshots below of what I'm talking about. Creo 8 and before Surface finish Creo 9 surface finish options. Can't find the placement options anywhere. My company doesn't normally use leaders for surface finish. We put them on the dimension lines or on the edges themselves. Thanks, Doug
The help document describe as follows: but i copy it into my MATHCAD, it shows like this: I am not sure if it is the issue of software version. The document is for V10.0, i am using V7.0
I have a requirement to auto-populate the Creo Parametric revision history table on drawings from the Windchill information (Revision, Modified By, Modified On, and Revision Description (IBA)). The Revision Description will also be a Creo parameter. The requirement is there needs to be intelligence so that when the drawing is revised from revision 0 to revision 1, the revision history information for revision 1 is automatically applied to the next row of the revision history table from Windchill, and the revision 0 information is maintained on the drawing. The same will be true for all new revisions after that. Once the drawing is revised to revision 7, revision 0 is dropped from the revision history table, all other revision history information is shifted down one row, and then the revision 7 information is added to the last row; and so on for all revisions after that. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to accomplish this?
Hi, I have a sheet metal geometry as shown. I am trying to count the number of bends using the toolkit. Here's how we thought of it:1. Collect flat, flange, and bend features from the model tree2. Get vector values of reference planes of collected features3. Increase the number of horizontal/vertical bends using vector values However, the following problems were expected: Five flat features are visible in the feature tree in the illustration. When looking at the unfolded shape, the number of bends is 1 horizontally and 2 times vertically. Any good way to count the number of bends?Any ideas would be appreciated. Warm Regards, SeonHo Cha.
I am encountering an error while configuring the trial license for Mathcad Prime 10.The error says: "... (-103) Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session."FYI, I am running the software locally (not remotely).
Dear community,I'm facing frequent crashes in Creo, particularly when using Render Studio on large assemblies. Thankfully, PTC has implemented a feature to recover files after a crash. However, I've encountered an issue where the "Open" button is always grayed out, preventing me from accessing the recovered files.Has anyone else experienced this problem? thanksusing Creo 9
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.4.0 This is customer issue. Any Editing in part results in software crash.
Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, perhaps even 10 minutes ago, when writing a new function (Bidiagonal) and testing it with strings, I replaced a direct function call argument with a predefined vector but forgot to remove the original function's argument. After a few seconds of gazing at the (correct) output from Bidiagonal, I realised that the notation V(3) for vector V should have raised an error, but it didn't. After a bit of playing with a new, blank worksheet, I confirmed that to get an array's elements, one can use the standard subscripted index notation Mi,j or the standard programming language parenthesis notation M(i,j). And Little Red Riding Hood and Peter campaigned for a better public understanding of wolves, their role in ecology, and their treatment. I have a vague, dusty, indistinct memory of coming across this notation before, perhaps even on this forum, but I'm not sure - it might be a case of déjà vu. Stuart
Hi thereI using (READEXCEL) but it read all the values as zeros they should be these valuesIt works with the previous values thanks in advance

I have installed the Creo Elements Direct Manager Server. All functions are working properly. However, despite having a license, the web interface is giving an error. I believe it's using a Jetty server. There might be something missing or incorrect. I would appreciate any help on this matter.
Hello all, I have a assembly which is checked in. When I try to modify it I end up having a conflict box asking me to check out or continue. I want to avoid this conflict box avoiding and set default value as continue. I used dm_checkout_on_the_fly and set it to continue but noticed it just the continue is set just in conflict box as default but did not get applied I have to select okay eveytime. Is there any option by which I can apply value as continue instead of setting default value in conflict box. TIA
Need a licence to migrate to my new notebook
Hi,I am trying to create a motion skeleton that will move a part based on a cam type profile.I need help defining the connection circled so it stays on the curve when the "cam" moves side to side.I do not want to model solids, I just want it to be based off a sketch. Thanks for any guidance or help.
I am part of the Mott MacDonald IT team.We are in the process of transitioning to MathCAD Prime 10, as we have been informed that MathCAD 15 and MathCAD Prime 8 are reaching their end of life and will no longer be supported.Could you please provide more information on the support lifecycle of these products? This will help us proceed with the removal of the older versions of MathCAD and MathCAD Prime.Thank you.
New function in the Integration Kit to inquiry if a part is corrupted or not in Creo E/D Modeling
Hi guys, to add notes in drawing i am copying text from excel, then pasting it using unattached note. i want to save my custom notes in different names under Insert filed option. to optimize the process. Is it possible to add custom note under insert filed option. kindly help me on this, if there are any other better option please guide me.
Does anyone know of a more simple equation to derive the max moment of a simply supported beam. I have 12 equally spaced loads with the first and last being spaced further from the support than the typical spacing. Exterior loads are different from the interior. Heres some pictures of what im working with. The BMD diagram is my check for the moment of the HL93 Inv Loads. I've done this before when only working with a couple concentrated loads but the formula would be to long for this. Would also like to be able to check the moment at any location along the beam
Hi all, I would like to know if it is possible to pilot the options list in the variant builder from Option model. In the variant builder, there is an option list: Each value pilot the view or the hidden af a sub-assembly, or a set of components. Where each choices is stored in CREO? In the pro program, in parameters? Is someone know if it is possible to pilot them (with toolkit or SmartAssembly)Regards
I wanted to install Mathcad Prime 4 to my new pc.The license manager accepted my product key but I can't chose the product for the license.
Hello @PARTHIBAN_K,A very nice in-depth explanation indeed. I am facing some issues with creating 2D shell pairs for my assembly due to surfaces and / or some components within the assembly overlapping each other. Because of thus, I can not use "review geometry" feature too as it gives errors. Could you please help me out and guide me with solving these errors? Do I need the model to be remade where the components of its surfaces do not overlap each other? Or can I use some other way to mesh like "thin solid"? Please guide. Thanks in advance 🙂 Reference topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Analysis/Shell-Idealization-Over-the-Solid-Model-in-Geometric-Element/m-p/446841#M1377
I am using Smart BOM, my company requires that if there is an ALTERNATE (or SUBSTUTUTE) part, the new "ALTN" part need to have the same FIND NO with the main part . For example: Main part is "ABCD" and FIND is currently 6, above FN6 is FN7 with part # "AFGK"I need to add new part "xyzk" as ALTN to FN6, it will have the same FN 6 as the main part and sit in between FN6 and FN7. In the next message, I will tell about how I make it but it still NOT working as we want. JUst tell the community what I already tried to make it. We are using Creo 7But if newer Creo can make it, we can change to new version. Thank You
