I am trying to write a code in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to make a K matrix by making the K0 matrix of zeroes populate with k matrix numbers as shown below and in the file attached. If anyone could please help me with the Mathcad code for that it would be much appreciated! (P.S. Hello all, I created a basic square with dimensions: H10.50" X L4.00" X T0.06" and create an STL for my 3D printer, when transferred over, these were the values. When i unchecked Inches, the mm is setup as inches value.the standard unit setup for the part is inches. When dimensioning it into mm with creo using standard unit inches for the part, it would build it correctly in the 3D printer with correct dimensions. I am unsure exactly what's causing this issue in my Creo. I don't think it's 3D printing related.Please can someone help me? Thank you,FYang

Just came across article CS378421 for whitelisting certain URLs in Creo's embedded browser.  This is close to what we need, but it would so much easier to implement for our purposes if there was the possibility to Block certain URLs, rather than trying to document all possible allowed sites. Could we for example have a ZBrowser Registry Key called BlockListLocation and manage that like the AllowListLocation?  This would be a major win for us as it would solve an age old company specific Windchill cache corruption issue I wont get into here..

It creates a part for each profile, each beam which is saved locally (only on the CREO session). Yet, when another colleague wants to open this assembly, no profile is found or displayed. Lots of parts are missing in the model and it's impossible to work with serveral people on the same assemblies (not in the same time).Is it possible to resolve this probleme so that the profiles and beams would be loaded regardless of the open CREO session?Thank you in advanceHere are the errors that I facedMissing modelMissing reference

Hello everyone,I would like to understand in Creo parametric how the .prt files that contain a copy geometry feature that has another reference .prt are updated.Why doesn't the son update when I open it, even if automatic regeneration is set?I always have to do it manually with CTRL + G or regenerate (I attach an image of the two objects opened from a clean session - first father then son)The version used is Creo 8.0.7.0I also tried with 10.0.3.0 where I saw these two new entries (regen_data_sharing_ref_models e retrieve_data_sharing_ref_parts) but even adding them with a value of yes did not change the result. Matteo.

Dear PTC Community,I am currently working on Creo Simulate to perform a FEA on a rain cowl assembly for different wind loadings and also to check if the current weight of this rain cowl assembly can be taken by the motorised louvers without failing (rain cowl assembly is mounted onto the motorised louvers with the help of bolts).I have defined fasterners and weld connections wherever needed but facing some issues with them as listed below:Issue_1: The perimeter welds defined at locations where the top part of the rain cowl assembly is being connected to the side part for example is not being taken into consideration and the solver says that it is taken as bonded idk why? Issue_2: The end welds along the curve for the same two parts of the rain cowl assembly are ignored by the solver idk why either. Hello,I made a part using Creo's Sheet metal with image below.When I create an STL file and send it to our 3D printer, it makes it under millimeter only. Typically, it always ask if i want to convert to inches. When i load it into the 3D printer, it comes out super tiny and small. the problem here isn't the 3D printer, but the part itself.Even though i change the properties to inches/lbm/seconds. it still causes the same issue I have a big feeling it has something to do with this axis below causing this issue:If i build it from a solid model, it doesn't have this issue. I need to build this part under sheet metal, because it will become a sheet metal.Please help.thank you PTC community

I am trying to combine a few load cases (speed and loading combinations) into arrays (or matrix), see simple example of input and what I'd like to achieve. I know how I could use nested FOR to loop through the arrays but I don't know how to assign variables to get the end result. Or is there a different way? I hardly know anything about functions and programming in Mathcad. 

Hi, I have a MCP sheet that pulls from some matrices to perform basic calculations that takes over an hour to complete. I would like to improve this significantly if possible. I tried to rely on built-in functions (e.g., "lookup") when possible for calculation efficiency. The main calculation (image below) uses data from three matrices (36177x9, 2412x9, 1206x12) to perform basic +-x/ calculations resulting in a 216619x8 matrix. At the end of the sheet, there is some red text that helps point this out. I've created a part model with lettering as a cosmetic sketch, and have been trying to export this part as a STEP file. However, whenever I open the step file, the lettering is completely missing. How can I ensure the cosmetic sketch lettering is visible on the exported STEP file?Creo Parametric v7.0.4.0

Hello all, I'm just getting started with piping.  I found a tutorial through the help button in Creo, but I can't get back to it for some reason.  I managed to make the routing that I want, and I'm pretty comfortable with the interface, but I assume that I am doing something wrong.  All the pipe routes appear as lines, and not 3D pipe.  I created the Line Stock and checked the dimensions, but maybe I did something wrong. This is a series of 16" and 24" piping coming off a suction and discharge header. If you can tell from the screenshot, please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

I had to install MCAD 14 on a new machine. To my great surprise, that went well, except that I cannot access QuickSheets. When I try, I get the message below. Can anyone help with this?  

I've been having an intermittent issue when applying datasets to objects in Schematics. I have my own datatable for connectors and have used this datatable in the past (as recently as yesterday) to apply datasets to objects in Schematics, but yesterday when I tried to set an objects dataset, I got the error:   ?msg_err@ >>>> error <<<<?msg_err@ Can not apply this dataset: at least 1 member is invalid: W501-P5!BP1 (No mapping)   The object is the "Plug" variable object included in the DemoDB and I'm having the issue in both block (BID) and wiring (WID) sheets... The weirdest part is that I have successfully applied the dataset to other Plug objects on the same sheet, but now I just get this error. I've started blank sheets and sometimes the same error crops up, and sometimes it doesn't (and sometimes it will work for a little bit and then stop working...).   Any ideas how to get around this?

Running Creo 9.  This one seems like a WTF miss... I have a drawing view that has long belts extending away from the rest of the assembly that I don't need to show.  Also on this drawing I have unattached notes next to all the sensor locations calling out the specific input that sensor feeds into.  I relate the notes to the view then decide that the belts could be trimmed by changing the full view to a partial view and BOOM the notes all move too.  Why on earth would "relate to view" be attached to some random arbitrary magical location that based on a made-up spline that 99% of the time you don't even see?!?  Please say there is a configuration setting for this like "relate to view location" that has 'Model Origin' as an option! Thanks in advance!Brad

I am exporting a STEP file from a metric assembly.  When I import the STEP file in as an assembly it imports in fine.  But if I import it in as a part, any parts that are not metric come in scaled down by 25.4.  Is there a config.pro or setting somewhere that I need to set to make everything import into a part at the correct size?  Example is below, the housing is a metric part and the plug is a metric part and come in scaled down by 25.4. Thanks!Ted

For large assemblies, the frames of the inserts are not displayed reliably.You can see this behavior clearly in the attached picture.Both anchor points were placed at the same height.If you scale the display, both frames are visible or only the right or only the left one.Is there a workaround so that the frames are displayed reliably?

Hello all, Is there a function that can be used to align the guide lines of callouts horizontally or vertically? In the attached image, I have only aligned the lines by hand. Unfortunately, this takes longer and is very imprecise.
