Proengineerstart returns ProError code -1 How to rectify it . ProEngineerstart has Two arguments among those one(proe_path) is executable that runs it and another is Prodev_text_path which i am unable to figure it out Can someone please explain what is that second argument is about and how to use it correctly.
SO say I have a sensor in this NHA structure. When I open up the full top level assembly model of the entire car say it looks like this. 000-900-111 =Car full assembly > 000-111-285= Engine compartment installation >000-285-358= Engine assembly >000-358-001 part 1 >000-358-002 part 2 >000-907-783 Sensor 1 >Ect.... When I go look at the part path idCreo view will take those long part number and convert them into a shortform part id path so 000-900-111 it might make an 8 and all the other parts also get an assignm

Dear all, May I ask if anyone knows how to combine this 'if' function with these differential equations? k3 is a spring where the stiffness depends on the position of mass 3. In the attachment, I managed to achieve this in Python, but I didn't manage to do this in Mathcad. Could someone help me so that I know for next time?" Thanks in advance.
Hi, Most of our assemblies created in Creo contain background objects which do not participate in BOM. They just facilitate the layout, including skeleton objects. The problem is that all of those objects, which are not suppressed, are getting published by the WVS Worker and are available down the stream in Creo View and Creo Illustrate (however they're not present in MAPSB, PPB, visualization tabs). Is there a way to set the worker up in such a way that those viewables won't contain such geometry and structure? Or is there a different workflow that would let us get this outcome other than suppressing all of those objects in CAD? Kind regards,Tom
Please, does anyone know which license is required to run View State Compare from Creo Wiew MCAD?I need to make comparisons between two models. Hi I am doing analysis on a relatively large structure, and I would like to build the the model for Simulate using beam idealisations rather than native models. I know how to create an individual beam, but am looking guidance/tutorial on how to create an assembly, if possible using a mixture of idealised beams and 'physical' geometry. Thanks in advanceFrancis
I have a vector of values and I would like to compare all these values inluced in the table in order to know if it is higher than 1. I was thinking to use "if" but I don't know how to use it.
I would like to write a user-defined function for Mathcad Prime 9.0 accessible via DLL. I intend to use 'C' programming language. Your supplied header file (excerpt below) refers to methods of function definition which will pass string pointers that are automatically parsed into file names with full paths as needed (#define INFILE 13). There is also discussion of assigning the function output to a file which will be written (#define OUTFILE 14). I would like to use this functionality. Can you supply working example 'C' code? In the worst case, maybe you can supply working 'C++' code. What I have tried, with the same construction as your examples for other passed-in arguments, as well correct memory allocation for output strings, has not worked. Of course, I don't know why and I don't think I have a way to debug this in real time since I don't have your object files (also I am a beginner C programmer). Thank you in advance for the example code. - Kirk Morgan ********// types to be
My left side arrowhead disappeared after I added datum C to that true position tolerance. How do I bring that arrowhead back?
Customers are asking to export 3D Annotation and 3D Symbols in STEP files as well as 3D notes. This because in next future customers are going to avoid creating 2D drawings for single parts, too.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0I am trying to add notes in 3d space under the annotations tab. I have done this before (I do this almost everyday) but for some reason, now, when I use the middle mouse button to set the location of the note, it cancels the operation altogether. This function is still available in 2d space and works just fine.
Creo 9.0.4.0 & windchill 12.1We are looking to convert our models from imperial to metric. We have legacy items dating back to at least Creo 2. There are 3 main segments of the company. @ of the 3 already use metric for modeling and drawing. One is still using imperial and would like to switch. In testing models/drawings made in Creo 9, it was discovered that if a dimension was manually added to a drawing (addxxx), the tolerances did not change when the Model Properties were converted. Also, GD&T does not appear to change. Part and drawing DTL files exist and are working fine, if the part was created and not converted. Aby ideas of how to convert they in bulk and not manually changing each dimension? Changing one drawing at a time is acceptable, but trying to avoid the need to change dimensions one by one.
Hello friends. In the drawing, I need to specify a detail, transparent and in fine lines. Creo is able to make the detail transparent, but the line style is dashed. I open the drawing.Layout > Component Display > Style > Picked View > OK.In the menu manager, I select the PhantomTrnsp style. As a result, I get a transparent display of the assembly part, but with a dotted line. How to adjust or change the default PhantomTrnsp line style to thin rather than dashed?
Mathcad prime 9 wont open past the splash screen, and closes afterwards. Ive looked the problem up on forums which suggested i delete the config file, didnt work either. Do you have any idea on how to fix the problem?kind regards
I am trying to export a line body from creo parametric 10.0 to Ansys. But I only seem to be able to export the solid body. Is there any way I can just export a line body? I have tried deleting the solid bodies and just exporting the sketches but it didn't seem to work. Maybe there is a way to convert sketches to line bodies?
We're using Creo 8.0.6.0 at this time. I'm running into an issue using a relation-driven sub-assembly, but feel like it's close. The first stud & nut in the patterns aren't flexing properly, but the rest are and I'm unsure what the issue is. I've changed & moved relations around, added and removed flexible dimensions/variables up until this point, this is the closest I've gotten. Some background: we originally used a family table for all of our stud & nut assemblies but found a few issues using them - they often really slowed down our large assemblies, and sometimes ran into odd regeneration issues. I've taken a look at intelligent fasteners, but I don't think it has what is required. We're testing using a single sub-assembly that drives the part dimensions of the stud and nut. FLG_CALLOUT and GASKET are restricted, string parameters that are pre-flexed. Users can change them via a drop down menu. These two parameters will be changed when added to an assembly
I WANT TO TAKE THE EXCEL REPORT OF THE BILL OF MATERIAL WITH PART NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION AND MATERIAL ASSIGNED IN CREO 9.0
I already know there are a lot of discussions about this topic but I think this indicates that using the correct scaling in Creo is too complex.According to this article it should work by adjusting some config.pro settings but for me there is also something unclear. The thing is that with "main scale" there is a suggestion that this is the scale that is shown on the left bottom side of the drawing window in Creo Parametric (also set in the drawing parameter "scale").But my current experience is that the scale that is used for the DXF/DWG has some sort of relation to the scale of the view that is first in the drawing view tree. The setting below on yes is what I want but the "...view named main_view..." brings in some confusing. What is the definition of "main_view"... dxf_out_scale_viewsyes, no*Specifies whether to scale drawing views when exporting to the DXF or DWG file format. This configuration option is available as the Scale drawing views when exporting t
I'm used to it by now. Regularly, Mathcad loses the connection to the license for no reason at all I need to stop what I'm working on just because. Not to say that license management and activation steps must be among the worst kind of processes I have ever seen for a paid product. Not happy with the overall situation, this time things got worse. Lost license and Mathcad is looking for a "Product Code". Something I never got when managing licenses. When I read the articles about it in the below link:https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS30357I get to a "solution center" which suposedly would provide me this product code. It seems like PTC is extending its bad support to a 3rd party now, but its the same quality of work:https://solutioncenter.digitalriver.com/public_csmI got the sales order, contract #, customer #, but this Digital River Solution Center does not recognize anything. Can anyone help? I can't use the license now. Below is the answer I got:"The inputted order number could
Hello community, I need your support. Which solution is better? How would you set the constraints and power? Is the solution approach using the creo assembly the right one? Hello I'm trying to make the drawing model a new window of Creo now and use fast printing using macros. It works well if you run in a different environment (for example, an existing window rather than a new one), but when you create and run a new window using the ProObjectWindowMdlnameCreate() function, the ProMacroExecute(); function returns a PRO_TK_NOT_VALID errorI don't see the window at all, but I think it's because I'm trying to run the macro properly, is there a way to fix it?Sleep(); I tried a function to give delay, but there was a delay in the window as well as ProMacroExecute()I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how. If there's any other cause than this, please help.I am attaching the code I used below.Thank you. status = ProObjectwindowMdlnameCreate(name, (ProType)PRO_MDL_DRAWING, &window_id); status = ProMdlDisplay(mdl); status = ProWindowCurrentSet(window_id); status = ProWindowActivate(window_id); wchar_t* mkMCRTopLevel1 = L"~ Command `ProCmdQuickP
I have a very strange problem with this new mathcad. So the situation is that with a file of only 1.5 mb (something about 30 pages), page scrolling gets stuck and even when entering text (ctrl + T), writing a little faster, the text appears with a delay of several seconds so that it is impossible to In this case, work comfortably, I won't write about the rest because it covers only such basic functions. And the question is what is the reason for this functioning. A month ago I bought a new Asus TUF 15 computer but I returned it after some time because I didn't like it, now I have a new Acer Nitro 5 for a week and the problem is the same in both the first and second case, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue because I have new ones components good enough to work on 10 such mathcads at the same time.As for the rest of the actions I took, even when I switch Mathcad from AMD to NVIDIA (RTX 3050), the situation is the same.I will be grateful for an answer as to why the program behaves t
Hi, I am using Creo parametric 4.0 with the AAX.I created a part using copy geometry references from a skeleton model, and noticed that when creating a drawing and adding a view, the view size seems to include the copy geometry feature.this would not really be a problem because it does not seem to affect the drawing size itself when exported. but it does not allow me to use something like the PTC ModelCHECK to find the OVERALL_SIZE of the part.is there a way to hide the copy geometry feature so that only the solid geometry is being shown in the drawing's view borders and such.
Hi I want to plot this summation. I would like to do it as an 'odd summation', were I don't want it to process n=2. Is there an easy solution for this problem?
