HiI got the email from PTC with the download link. I create a standard account.During the installation process, at "application selection" I can't select any application to install. I just need the free Mathcad Prime solution

Good morning everyone,I'm using Creo 10 and from the "Tools" ribbon menu I start my c# application.We can do everything but in the "Model" menu a lot of function are disabled especially "Parameters". HI all.When flipping the arrows on a dimension the leader line remains between the arrows - see attachment.Any idea what the setting is to remove this? Thanks

I have created a pipe in part modeling using Offset Coordinate System Datum Point and want to bring points to the drawing table. Are there any solutions to read points coordinate (x,y,z) in a way when they are modified in the part, the drawing update table automatically similar to what happens to the dimensions?   

I am trying to batch convert drw to pdf. I have set the pro_lang=English as suggested by some threads. I have created a config.pro with search paths pointing to the parts of which drawings are to be converted to pdf. However, when I run distributed batch it does not runs, instead it gets stucked at "Unsubmitted" stage. The status colors are all yellow. Even if I stop the process it does not stops, rather I have to force close. I have reconfigured the creo to use creo distributed batch. Tried even from ptcdbatch.bat file. But of no use. Please help me as I need to batch convert more than 300 drawings and would take ages to do that.

I would like to know that what's different templates as below; mmns_part_solid_absmmns_part_solid_rel solid_part_mmks_abs. Please help me to clearly understand these templates.     

Hello all, This seems simple enough and I'm fairly certain I was able to do it back in Wildfire 4 but I could be wrong. In the image below, I want to move the ,03 outside the part (as indicated by the red arrow) by lengthening the horizontal portion of the leader. I found the setting "leader_elbow_length" but there's no "variable" option. Thanks,

Hello everyone, I have a new question for you that should be straightforward. I'm wondering how write a program to add additional rows to a matrix, where the values of the elements are calculated according to a formula using existing data within the matrix. The attached Excel file includes a tab with input for the ReadExcel function, as well as a tab showing the desired output by a writexcel function. Essentially, the matrix is a list of node point IDs with force vectors due to six load cases. Each node ID will have the same number of load cases and the input will be always sorted by LoadCase column. I would like to add new rows for each node ID, namely 7 OPEPOS and 8 OPENEG, using a specific formula which pulls its input from the existing data within the matrix. Input for the readexcel function:Desired output by the writexcel function:Rows 8, 9, 16 and 17 should be added by the formulas:FR is the force resultant.Just as a note, I have currently MathCAD Prime 8 and unfor

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.2.0The threads of a hole feature do not show in the drawing. This is not a cosmetic thread. The various threads will only be visible in section view. The face where a hole is located will appear to have a simple drilled hole with no thread.

Hello, I have a problem with the design of a tool. For machining a part i use a sawblade with a sawblade holder.https://www.haimer.biz/products/tool-holders/accessories/sawblade-holder/sawblade-holder.html When i design the tool in creo NC with a sketch, it takes as cutting reference the lower point of the tool.When i use the tool in my trajectory path, this is this point whirch is follow the trajectory.Even if i modify the sketch with construction segments...Is there a solution to define the cutting edges of the tool ? Thanks in advance

I am looking to streamline a workflow for transformation of surfaces using two CSYS features to move and reorient a quilt. Doing it manually using the transform options in the Warp tool or the Legacy surface move command is quite tedious and requires calculating linear transforms using the two bases.   My best workaround is to export the quilt relative to one CSYS and then import it back into the model using the desired CSYS as the origin, not ideal since it lacks associativity. Is anyone aware of a method supporting a single transform operation to move and reorient a quilt/surface from one orthonormal basis (Csys) to a new one? I can keep it all within Creo without the export but it requires doing the matrix algebra for rotational transforms outside of Creo, which is slow and tedious to do it manually. Getting the new origin can be obtained by using a measure of the transform between the two csys but the rotational info is not explicit in that measure.   ObjectiveTransformed

I have a long workshheet with a few  red or black two colour plots. When I save as PDF some of the red traces show as black. I have been very careful with Plot positions and spacing.  I have tried saving from the Math tab and the Document tab. Is there some official guidance?

The "collapse" tool is useful for generating static geometry from parametric features.  Often, I copy the surfaces of a sub-component and then collapse the copy feature so that I can be free to move the resulting independent geometry feature "up the model tree" and use it as a visual reference.   (screenshot above is from assembly mode)   Thing is, sometimes this tool is not available (it is grayed out).   I am not sure about what are the conditions for its availability. I think it depends on whether the model is used in another assembly (that is in session) and also seems affected by presence of family table instances / models made "flexible".    Does anyone have similar experience?  I'm still on Creo4, BTW.

How would I shorten the text displayed for a parameter in a note. For our system, our File Names are stored as: for example: XYY4512999-1_x_TM_CP. And this is what is displayed when I use the parameter &model_name on a multi-sheet drawing, which defines the components of an assembly. However, all I really want to display is XYY4512999-1 (everything up until the first underscore). Is there a switch or modifier I can apply along with the parameter callout which will cause the note to only display the text up until the underscore character?   

I have attempted, but failed, to authorize my Mathcad 15.0 program. Is there anything that can be done to make this program work? If not, is it possible for me to upgrade to a current version and get credit for the Mathcad 15.0 that I already purchased?I am in urgent need of the use of this program. I've just installed Creo 7 & everything went OK, the issue I have is when I attempt to create a new part or open an existing Creo 6 part I get a traceback error then it crashes.  My software supplier has said it's due to my hardware not being supported by PTC.  What spec of machine should I be looking at to get it to run or do I wait to see if it will be supported. It runs Creo 6 without any problems.
