Hello,unfortunately I have a next problem: I just noticed that when I export images, the stroke widths are different when I make a display with and without page setup. So far I have always exported images by fixing the model in the window and then setting the desired image width (e.g. 17.5 cm) with resolution 300dpi (118 dots per cm) when exporting. The result is an image with a pixel width 17.5cm x 118dpcm = 2065 pixels. In the meantime I found out that it is more convenient to define a page size. And that you can define your own page sizes with the administration tool. So I defined a page with the dimensions 17,5x11cm and set it later. When exporting the image I only had to set the resolution 118dpcm and I also got an image of the pixel width 17,5cm x 118dpcm = 2065 pixels. So both images are the same size in the result. Hello!How can I use the Rule Editor to create a simplified representation that excludes items inside a group?I tried the config below, but the result was "0 items". 21-700_71-00_00-00 is the group's name, selected from the list.And what about a rule to filter a repeat region using the same criteria? Everything inside the group is automatically filtered out. Is this possible?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140We are getting an exception "pfcExceptions::XToolkitBadInputs    at pfcls.IpfcBaseSession.GetConfigOption(String _Name)   at proetopdf.proetopdf.Main(String[] cmdArgs)" when used with a solid regenerate API.As per the PTC Support knowledge base understand that this issue is with the Creo 7.0 where the API is a deprecated.Presently we are getting this issue in Creo 4.0 M 140 and need your help in understanding the root cause and the resolutions already if any. We have an inconsistent exception now which is observed for few sample files only.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0A client of our product (Agni Link, callable from Windchill) is now using the Creo Browser to work with Windchill. Our product (Agni Link from Elmo Solutions) works with Windchill and is correctly called when the user was using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. We had to add entries in the Windows Registry to make that call works (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\URLWhitelist OR HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\URLAllowlist) because our application is using our own URL protocol ( agnilink: ). We also support Microsoft Edge because the same policies entries exist in the Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\URLWhitelist OR HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\URLAllowlist). What are the Windows Registry entries to use to make our URL protocol works with the Creo Browser (based on Chromium as Chrome and Edge)?

Does anyone have a way to reference boms in a drawing note? I would like to make my drawing note intelligent so if the BOM changes my notes do also. i.e. Bond item (rpt.index) to item (rpt.index) with item (rpt.index).     

Hello I have an issue. I currently have to create painting & labelling drawings for our products, which have to show where to paint, where and what type of sticker to apply, and what color stripes to paint on the OD. The problem is, the surface is round and tapered, I have tried to wrap text to the surface but not very successfully due to the tapered surface, and the same with the stripes.   I am doing the drawing, outputting as PDF, then importing into PowerPoint and wrapping shapes onto the drawing and resaving as PDF. it works but I would like to do it within Creo if I can. I was thinking if I create a sticker as a part then assembly it to the model, but can I wrap the part to the round & tapered surface. Does anyone know a better way to create stickers & stripes on a part. Thanks Peter

Hello, I am attempting to access Article - CS69429 (link: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS69429 ) but unfortunately can not. I believe the issue that is occurring is that since I am using an academic license, the PTC website says I do not an active subscription to CREO.  My team is using CREO to test the harnessing & cabling tools. Our test case is currently very simple at only two harnesses with associated four connectors. We are attempting to export our design in the .xml format built in to CREO but are then trying to parse this information and store it in an .xlsx or .csv document that displays the information better in a table. I am running into issues opening the exported .xml doc in Matlab due to the doctype definition and was hoping this article could help. I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.8.0Creo is sometimes loading the incorrect workspace cache. This is resolved by closing and reopening Creo but this is slowing down productivity.

I have an imported image (company logo) saved in a generic drawing format. When I attempt to copy that drawing format (using "Copy from Other Drawing" and "Entire Sheet") into a new drawing, the format shows up WITHOUT the image. Is there a way to "lock" the image into the drawing so that it will accompany the drawing when it's copied into a new one?

I'm not sure if I'm reading this CS134024 table correctly. We have Creo 8.0.6.0 and NX2007 (2027 minor version). Upgraded from Creo4 and NX1926. Creo8 can open (as in File/Open, change file type to NX *.prt and select "Open") an NX1926 saved file. It cannot do the same all NX2007. Does the "Open" without Unite read off of the import column compatibility? We don't have Unite but do work with both NX and Creo. Since our PLM is Windchill, Creo has to be the top-level assembly CAD for the multi-CAD projects that sometimes have to consume NX files. We definitely don't want to import and create a Creo .prt from the same existing NX .prt.
