Hello i Have a problem with dimensions cosmetic thread. I made thread M4, but in drawing annotation show diameter symbol. If possible change so that show Thread symbol?
I have a number of formulas that are the same but the variable value are different. For consistency and if just one region is copied to another sheet I'd like to restate the function again. So that if the region is copied to another sheet then I can just changed = to :=. Is this possible in mathcad?
I'm tired of looking back at my work and seeing what did I set my variables equal to. I'm working on bending moment equations for the same beam at different load combinations. For load combo 2 I'd like to calculate the moment at the same spot as I did for load combo 1.. So x_lc2 ;= x_lc1 but I want to see the formula for x_lc1 like this x_lc2:=x_lc1=l/2. I'd like to see something similar to how excel would let you 'step in' to a formula. I know it feels kind of redundant but I just need that visual verification for everything I have to use this sheet for another project.
I need to upgrade numerous computers, all of which have licenses for Prime 6. We have Mathcad Professional licenses which we get to upgrade to Prime 8. My questions are..... What are the steps to upgrade to Prime 8? Do I need a new license or can I use the same license that is on the current laptop using Prime 6? Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I'm probably just missing some detail, but I'm wondering about mirror functions for AFX beams. Can't seem to find a way to mirror things without doubling or duplicating parts. Almost every demo I've seen on AFX has symmetric aspects, so I can't figure out why they would create them redundantly. Sure, reusing beams is great, but why not build one side and mirror it? A simple example is shown in this image. I have the first portion, but can't figure out how to get to the second without a higher level assembly -- but either way, it's wrong because you'd never build it with so many "half" parts. That's a simple example, but I need it for much more complex work. The effort to do the same thing (almost) 4 times is driving me nuts. Please let me know what I'm missing. I'm probably just a dough head, but I can't find anything in a Google search or in PTC's help. Maybe I'm using the wrong search words?
Refer to the above screenshot, frequently the "ok" button and "cancel" button are outside of window and become inaccessible in Simulate. I have to close Simulate and restart it again. Is there any better way to access the "ok" button? Thanks.JSP.S. BTW, in Simulate, the popup windows for selections (for example in assigning Rigid Links, Weighted Links, etc) are TOO small and can't not be dragged wide. Is there any better way to make the selection window wider?
I've attached IDD guide for Creo 1.0, not sure if that is what you are looking for, but as far as I can tell it's all the same as in Creo 2.0.So, there you go.
I am finding that some edges on a simple rectilinear model will accept a round of say .125 radius on a 4 inch side, show the geometry but not remove the model material which would be gone if the round completed. I've tried starting with different simple models and it fails on some and not others. There may be a common origin of the trick edges like they are edges created by an extrude. I haven't gotten to sorting this out. I've been running Creo and Pro/e for a very long time and have never encountered this before. What would you look at assuming this isn't a bug? If this query is not posted in the correct area here, let me know.
I'm writing a code using VBA Excel and I need to unsuppress some specific parts from an assembly. I don't know which functions are the best options. Can someone help me? thank you
Hello, On my manufacturing plan for operators, i need to display the program origin for each operation so they can view which surface of the part they have to probe on the part. The problem : On my plan, i can't permanently display the origin. when I uncheck the checkbox, all disapear and i can't select my origin "origine_OP010". Do you have some ideas ? With annotations ? Thanks in advance.
Can anyone let me know how to generate convergent graph in CREO simulation and how to control it in CREO simulation?
Hello,Does anyone know how to create automatically baffles to close gyroid lattice structure on inlet and outlet? In the video (https://www.ptc.com/en/resources/cad/webcast/revolutionary-heat-exchanger-with-additive-manufacturing/thank-you) Andreas Vlahinos says that it is possible to create inlet face exposed on only one fluid domain with variable gyroid thickness. I have done some tries but I am able to cutoff both or none. Any tips?
Hi communityIs it possible to drive constraint with parameter ?In my example with slider : I want to drive actual slider position (value in red circle) with parameterit is possible ?thanks
I need some helps!Do anyone know how to project members of table pattern onto curved surface?I've tried every methods comes up my mind but it just won't work, applying value-controlled feature(X-Y coordinate/width/height...etc) to curved surface, table I need to fill is going up to 3000 rows, so table pattern is my only option I guess.Any ideas or any other method can make this happen? Thanks!

Hello,I'm very happy to meet you here. I know you well, you can use Creo simulate smoothly. Now I have a doubt: I don't know how to measure the volume of the solid part after deformation. May you help me? Thank you first!!!
Hi Guys, I am trying to use solver block to find 2 variables. The solver says the solution cannot be found even though the solution exists. Please help me out by checking the constraints. Thanks,
Hello, Everyone. From the following : Plot Intersection-points of the "green" and "pink" ? Thanks in advance for your time and help. Best Regards.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.3.0There appear to be a collection of points in a sheet metal part related to the Driving Surface feature. It's unclear how they were created. They are un-selectable, and I am unable to remove them from the model.
Is there a way to show the weight of an assembly simplified rep on a drawing?Secondly, if the rep is always named the same thing in every assembly, can it be automated from the format?
My company recently switched from Creo 2.0 to Creo 7.0. For the past few months I have had Creo 7.0 installed for the purposes of testing but just this week we switched over to using it for production. Up until this point I have just been using it for modeling and FEA work and never had any issues but today several people started using it for drawings and we have found a way to crash it consistently. To crash it we simply insert a custom symbol, middle mouse click, and the screen completely disappears. There is no error message and the program is crashing so quickly that it doesn't even generate a traceback.log file. I have been trying to troubleshoot this issue all day and I haven't had any luck. I tried all of the usual things like updating video/system drivers, setting "graphics win32_gdi", reinstalling creo, removing all customizations, verifying Windows system files, running a memory check...pretty much everything I could think of to narrow down a video or system issue.
Does anyone know how to filter all solid lines to layer? What filter should I select in "Look for"? Same goes for hidden lines and xhatches.Selecting Draft Entity does not work.I want to move all solid (continuous) lines to one layer, all hidden (dahsed) lines to another layer, etc. I can do this for centers, text, symbols etc, bit for these three (solid lines, hidden lines and xhatches) I have no clue what to look for. Sometimes, I wonder if PTC has a clue ...
hi, I want to move my pipeline from assembly to subassembly, now I am not able to do so because of assembly reconstruction errors, please help, attaching a snapshot for what I want to move, I have created a new sub assembly with default constraints, but still not able to move my .prt pipeline into this new sub assembly(hose_routing_1.asm), I have made entire piepline in the current assembly
