Our user base has been asked for potential reasons or issues that upgrading may benefit the user productivity. In my opinion, its really difficult to know what is going to help and or hurt users when upgrading, especially when users don't typically know what benefit is in future releases. So, I'm asking for help from the Community for reasons I can give to improve our chances of getting the upgrade process moving. Two reasons I know of currently are potential improvement of datum plane display on drawings and multibody part support which I have yet to see if it might improve our welded structures. What else?

Hello,I want to plot some functions:   And the function f2(t) should look similar to the function f1(t), not exactly, but something like f1(t) looks.   The problem is that the graph of the function f2(t) is displayed only when I increase the time axis so much (10^1, 10^2, 10^3, etc), which is a bit much because I want to see this part (see image below) from the beginning as it looks, not a straight line   And not like this (see image below), because I want to be able to see the transient/beginng part much more, how will look (like the image shown above) Good: Bad Bad   I would like, if it is possible, to plot both functions on the same graph and to be able to see the beginning part for the function f2(t) just as I can see it in the case of the function f1(t)   Mathcad Prime 7 file attached.Thanks.  

Hi, I am looking for an option, if any, to choose between multiple config.sup files while starting Creo.The scenario is we work for both 2 different companies A and B. Both have their own set of config requirements.so, is it possible to have 2 separate config.sup files each company a piece and then be able to choose one among these while starting Creo??@MartinHanak @VladimirN @TomU 

i requested and received a .dat license file, but when I apply it I get the following error message:11/22/2022 12:36:18 PM : The license request failed.Requesting MathcadPrime ...C:\Program Files\PTC\Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0\sw_license_email_90222.dat: (-103) Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session.I've now tried this twice with two different license files.

 After enabling the aliasing setting, on the sketch, the dashed line seems to line a solid line.did anyone know how to fix this?

Of the latest M numbers for Creo 4.0, are there any levels that you have found to be more stable/unstable than other?   We are hoping to move to Creo 7.0 later this year.

Hi all,I need your help.I have an old calculation, which was made in Mathcad 14. This calculation was made not by me.This calculation perfectly works in Mathcad 14. Now we have Mathcad Prime 7 and 8.I have converted this calculation to  *.mcdx format. And I got a problem.The equations, which calculated using Euler method, cannot be calculated now in Prime 7 and 8 with step  5000 and more.It show me error “ infinite recursion or overflow”.With step 4700 it still works. Attached you can find this equations. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I am having a persisting issue on one of my own drawings in Creo 5 where I can place a datum feature symbol onto the drawing, but I cannot edit the symbol once it is placed. I have tried creating the symbol on a model and bringing it forward onto the drawing but that did not work as well. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks,Mark

Since our old system (pre-pdf's) was set up that each tab on a DRW was set up as a separate DWG. It has been decided that each tab needs to be a separate PDF. Any thoughts on how to separate this out? Either during the export process or after the fact?   We do not have a large amount of multi-tab(sheet) drawings, so separating them after export could work too, but during the export process would be even better.

Not necessarily a Creo issue, but with Acrobat Reader, does any know how to have the .pdf always open on the secondary monitor?

I would like the green lines from sheet metal to either be black on white background or white on black background.   From this post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/System-Administration/Config-pro-option-to-change-color-of-export-to-DWG-s/m-p/569354   I can see where I turned everything to black and white, but the sheet metal lines still turn up green. Any thoughts?

  When we radially pattern a feature, we need centering circle, hole etc. NX has an option like between two points. It is very useful when there is no feature in the center of pattern axis. We love Creo:)

I'm quite new to Creo, but is there a way in the versions before 9.0 that it always starts with no columns visible when you open a file?

I have a UDF which creates cuts and automatically numbers the cuts around a circular part.  The numbers are in the correct place, but I want them to be rotated so they are readable from the center.  Is there a way to do this? 

Hai,    I am Creating assembly Drawing. Usually we create REP to for View clarity for views other than main view . But Now i am unable to use parametric balloons on views with different REP. any way to fix this. BOM balloons is from Master REP.

Hello All, I am relatively new to MathCAD and am having an issue developing a set of symbolically solved equations for a system. I have assigned values to the variables however throughout my analysis I would like to solve or simplify equations ONLY symbolically for a particular variable and KEEPING all variables as symbols, NOT replacing them with their numerical values.Is this possible?

It was working fine on Windows 10 but now I cannot see the Help file. I can see the help window at the bottom of the screen when I hover the mouse over Mathcad window but when I click on it, it does not open. Please help.

Does anyone know how to use the purge function on subordinate UDF files (.gph)? The UI is the old menu manager, and I am not able to find instructions on how to actually operate it. I am able to purge the reference model that is driving the gph file, but the UDF purge seen below I am not able activate.    

Hello, i wanted to upgrade my mathcad 7.0.0 to 8.0.0 but the license is already on the 7.0.0 version. How can i fix this?

It appears I misposted this in the parametric forum...I hope this is the correct forum now. Cocreate ME10 is Cocreate Drafting, no? I do systems support for users who use Cocreate and I occasionally have to help them when ME10 reports a 'segmentation fault' when opening a file. The error is pretty much always due to a value having been written out which cannot be read back in by ME10, "-1#CNAM" is a common one but I've also seen decimals being written out with comma separation rather than dot separation. We are in spain, so the local decimal separator is comma rather than dot (i.e 1,2 rather than 1.2) but that particular error only occurs occasionally. I'd like to know if there is a either- a command line tool for validating ME10 files, which I could use to bulk identify files which have errors.- or a tool which identifies the line number of the block which is causing a problem instead of the useless 'segmentation fault' which is displayed to the user. We have thous

Hi there, one of my colleagues has an issue with his windchill login in Creo Parametric 8.0.6.0.He has to type in his credentials every time Creo starts. The "remember my password" checkbox seams to be ignored.I found this case https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS257316 , but it was not helpful.Where does chromium store its passwords (maybe that file is corrupted / broken)?Or any other clues?Any help would be appreciated.

I am attempting to convert .xmcd files, using PTC Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0 XMCD, MCD Converter. When I attempt to make the conversion, I receive a "No License" error in the MCDX Status dialog. I just downloaded Mathcad Prime 8.0.0.0. The files are Mathcad 15, and I do not have Mathcad 15 on my computer.
