Hello, regarding the groove turning command in the turning module: can we specify an angle for the tool's approach and retraction? Also, for profile turning, if it is possible to use multiple passes instead of a single pass, how do we set that up? Thanks. 

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Creo Flow Analysis for quite some time and run into a frustrating issue in Creo11 where the ‘Open Projects’ button becomes inactive.  here is the work flow:ran a thermal-fluid simulation and reviewed the results saved project close and restart creo when trying to load the analysis again, the open projects button is disabledAll associated project files are present in the working folderThere are non-ASCII, no spaces, no special charaters in the working folder path.  Has anyone ele encountered this in creo 11? Any tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning, I spun my wheels on this for a while yesterday, and now I'm looking for help. The attached file was created in MathCAD Prime 8.0. In order for it to work, make sure that the csv file and the mathcad file are in the same directory. What it's supposed to do is accept a csv file with a specific structure and convert it into a vector of properties with MathCAD units. It was supposed to be a short program, but I'm running into a bug that I can't seem to work around gracefully.  When I have the READCSV(filename) function inside of a program, my output has no units, but when I have my READCSV function outside of the program, it works.  I want the READCSV function to work inside of the program so that I can call multiple csv files and combine the properties of each, otherwise the purpose of my overly-complicated data entry experiment is moot. When I import an assembly STEP (stezni_pribor_asm.stp) into Creo’s Part mode (File > Open > .stp, Type = Part, Import type = Geometry), the resulting part has wrong geometry: some solids in the STEP file come in as open quilts, some components are missing, and the rest overlap.Creo reports: Warning: Importing assembly in part mode. Hi all,I want to have a mapkey that calculates the surface area of the cross section of an extrusion profile and then paste the value in a new created parameter. What is the best method to do this, i tried with the volume of the part and the length comming from the parameters from the boundry box but it doesn’t seem reliable due to the ID changes of the boundry box feature.What are different methods that work?

I don’t want to receive this warning every single time I open Creo 13 and activate a part for the first time. Is there any way to turn this warning off? Removal of Assembly - Level Features warning

The ZIP archive contains Notepad++ UDL files for config.pro and drawing setup (dtl) options. I've created them for following CAD versions: WF4 (= Pro/E Wildfire 4) CEP5 (= Creo Elements/Pro 5, formerly Pro/E Wildfire 5) CP2 (= Creo Parametric 2) CP3 (= Creo Parametric 3) CP4 (= Creo Parametric 4) Basis for the options were the lists of Olaf Corten (thanks for them) http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_config.html and http://proesite.com/UTIL/view_setup.html.   General config.pro options get shown dark blue and bold. Hidden config.pro options get shown in a lighter blue, bold and italic. Comments get shown brown and can be folded, if they consist of several lines. Drawing setup (dtl) options alse get shown dark blue and bold.   To add a UDL file to Notepad++, choose "Language" and then "Define your language" in the menu. I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.12.0There is a "mirrored bodies id" feature in my part. When I updated the part it was referencing the mirrored part did not get updated. How can I edit this to fix it? There is not a "edit definition" when I click on the "mirrored bodies id" feature.

I am facing an issue while importing a STEP file into Creo Parametric.The attached STEP file contains six geometry entities named "Surface". In the STEP file, these are represented as MANIFOLD_SOLID_BREP entities, each containing a single planar ADVANCED_FACE.The surface geometry appears correctly in the source application, but after importing the STEP file into Creo, these surfaces are not represented as expected.Could someone clarify how Creo interprets this type of MANIFOLD_SOLID_BREP representation during STEP import, and whether this is expected behavior or if a different STEP surface representation is required? I have attached:The original STEP file. Hi,I was trying to move my MC15 license from my old PC to my laptop, but in the process something went wrong, so now I have the MC15 license in place for my PC, but the additional extensions are locked to something “null” I’m unable to move or recover the extensions, and thus the license file I can generate only includes the program. I get this error “CRITICAL: Product license is overallocated”How do I reset the licenses totally and generate a new host that will include both MC15 and extensions? Thanks! \\\Jens

Hello.I need to identify/open/convert two legacy .dge files, believed exported from Creo Schematics in 2015/16.I need to check what I believe will be a room layout, and update whatever is shown to create a new file (PDF, DWG, DXF) in AutoCAD.If anyone is able to assist with this it would be appreciated - I have downloaded Creo View Express (v13) but it says the files are unsupported.

I’m interesting in hearing from anyone that has used the Creo UG/NX Collaboration tool?We are starting manufacturing a product in the UK that is currently manufactured by our sister company in Germany. They have all the cad data in NX, but I think they use windchill as data management.  The question is, does this extension really allow you to edit the NX data in CREO.  I have seen something similar in Solidworks where it interrogates the CREO model and basically redraws the part in Solidworks automatically.  This produced something that looked correct on the outside but the way the model was generated didn’t make much sense and consequently made editing difficult.I suspect that I’m going to have to redraw the parts on CREO manually as they are mostly sheet metal components, and I am doubtful that the conversion will be seamless.Does anyone have experience of this?  Bearing in mind these converted files will be used for manufacture and be subject to revision.

Hello!We have 2 users with 2 different computers reporting the same issue with their prime files.I don’t know if it has something to do with the latest august Windows 11 Cumulative update (KB5121003)?The issue started happening yesterday after the users updated their Windows 11.When we try to Save as PDF or use the Print function we get the same errors. And we have tried several PDF printers. It only creates a .PDF file with 0kb in size. I uploaded 2 files that we are experiencing this issue with.

We have had Mathcad 14 installed since 2019 but now need to move the install/license to a new machine but person who originally activated the license retired. I need to be able to activate or move the license. I created a ptc account but can’t reach the “manage licenses” page it says: Access Denied - Insufficient PrivilegesYour web account does not hold the following required privileges to access the application:License Management Reporting for read-only access.License Management Licensing for configuration and license file generation access.”I tried calling the support 1-800 number but it says I have to have a customer support number to get support. I have no idea what that would be. How can I get assistance? We still have the original mathcad activated license file on the original machine, does that have the customer number? I need a way to get support.

Hey everyone, wondering if you've seen this issue before and know how to fix it. I searched and didn't see the same issue on the forums.    When creating a note with a leader and then going to annotate and creating a geometric tolerance callout, I can take that and hover over the leader note and click it and it'll snap into place under the note as seen in the picture below. We've see this changes the note from a geometric tolerance in the detail tree. It essentially becomes a GTOL callout with additional text above the callout. This is how we want it to look.         Last night Creo started doing this. Same note creation, same Gtol placement, but instead of snapping it below the note, it snaps it at the end of the leader line and keeps the note a note and the gtol a gtol without combining them as shown below.    Has anyone seen this happen or know how to get Creo to automatically do this correctly every time.
