Hi all, I have an alert set up in thingworx and I want to reset the alert each time it is called. This way it will alert every time a value is outside of the alert limits, not just the first time.  For example, say our alert for property X is an Above alert type with limit line of 5. Say X goes to 6, and an alert is triggered. If it then goes directly to 7, an alert does not trigger. I want it so that on any value that is above the threshold the alert triggers. Is this possible?

 We want to implement a controlled release process in Windchill for Creo drawings. Currently, we are unsure how to properly configure the workflow and attribute mapping to achieve this behavior.Specifically:How can we configure a Promotion Request workflow that:Requires both a Checker and an ApproverUpdates drawing attributes with their names, approval dates and signaturesHow can we link those workflow values to the drawing title block so they appear automatically after approval?How can we trigger automatic republishing upon state change to “Released” so the generated PDF contains the approval signatures?Expected Result:After both approvals, the drawing moves to ReleasedChecker and Approver names/dates populate automatically in the title blockWindchill auto-generates an updated PDF representation with the signatures visible

My problem seems a variation on the one queried by the OP.  I want Creo to open in L:\Projects\Creo_Files instead of C:/users\Me*\OneDrive\Documents.  I am able to make l:\Projects\Creo_files a working directory in the environmental section of the configuration options, but that doesn't do it. I tried making the L:\Projects\Creo_files a start directory as a Property in the shortcut in windows 11, but that didn't work either.   What should I do?

Hey All,I am stuck, trying to rename some groups in my assembly file but it does not let me. Usually I can just right click, then click rename, or I can slow double click and it will let me rename a group or feature.I created a datum plane to just test it, and again cannot rename that through those means. But if I edit the plane and use the toolbox where it lets you name it, that works.So dont really know what is going wrong with the naming feature. I have restarted CREO multiple times and its been the same for a few days now.Anyone else run into this?

I want to quickly see location (on the hard drive) of the part I am working with. I work with big assemblies in different folders. Sometimes parts are the same.   With Creo it's not clear. I looked for the answers. Suggestion is to edit config file. Is that really that complicated? And how to actually edit it?    Looked at this http://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_optm/usascii/index.html#page/optm/options_modeler/fund_five_sub/Setting_config_pro_Options.html They say go to Tools > Environment. But I don't have that menu option.   Your help is highly appreciated!

Hello, I am using mathcad prime Prime 11.0.1.0.  Every time I try and print it crashes, even if I cancel the dialogue box.  Any one else seen this issue? Thanks

Hello All,      I'm having a secanrio that, the PVZ file of the specific assembly was saved in my local drive, I want to upload that PVZ file to the specific EPMDocument under Representations\annations using the utility (using java program). On top of that we will create Interference Definitiion Detection to that Representation to identify the Interference between the parts.       By using the program I could able to create the representaion i.e., Derived image, but PVZ content upload in not happening that means representation is creating without the PVZ file.Following is the program that I'm trying . I want to convert part/assembly file into pvz file with custom proepview.pvr file, and i don't have a permission to change anything in "C" drive so i was planning on setting it up in a other drive but i cant find any specific setting/config... so is there any option available to set configuration for your custom recipe file??  

Im having problems with MathCad Prime 10. Everytime I try to save a document, the program closes, and do not save. I got my licens through my school (Aarhus University in Denmark).My computer has Windows 11.

I have been using Mathcad Express for a while. However, my laptop with Mathcad Express had some issues. So, I purchased a new laptop and tried to install Mathcad Express on my new laptop. I uninstalled Mathcad Express in my old laptop, but I now cannot activate Mathcad Express on my new laptop. Can you help me with that? What should I do? Thank you.

Hello, after transfering to creo 11 from creo 7 there were problems with model tree. It was always slow if there were at least one parameter shown in the tree. We've changed creo 11.0.3 to 11.0.7 and it fixed problem in Creo but not in Creo View 11.1.What should we do now?  

When I create a new hole in a creo model, is there a way that I can default to "Type - Standard" and also have the "Size - Thread type:" already looking at the correct .hol file? Right now it defaults to "Type - Simple' and "Size - Thread type: ISO" Thanks for your help!

Does anyone have a crafty solution to define or change the Name of the Windchill server in Windchill Workgroup Manager (WGM) without user intervention?    I am using Windchill Workgroup Manager v13 with Solidworks and would like to update the installation process with the silent installation method deployed in Windows Intune.    The Windchill Workgroup Manager supports the ability to define a default Windchill server URL, but it does not support an entry to define the Name of the default Windchill server in the wgmclient.ini file. When a default Windchill server URL is defined, the Name is automatically set to the domain of the server URL. I would much rather have a descriptive string assigned to the Name and cannot find a way to do this.    If we were using Creo Parametric, I could create a mapkey to change the name, but I am not aware of any mapkey, scripting or trail file execution in the Workgroup Manager client.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I am trying to setup an "Advanced Search" against the "Change Notice" object type. However, I have noticed I have no option to add any "Attributes" into the "Criteria" section of my search. Please refer to the attached image.Description: I have noticed that I can select other object types which provides the opportunity to add attributes into "Criteria" section of the search. Can anybody suggest why I don't have this option for the "Change Notice" object type?
